I love a good pretzel, and the pretzel dogs are good too. They are in and out in no time. Would definitely recommend.

It was built in 1900 and still has the original tin ceiling, decorative windows and exposed brick. Seating is on two floors, providing a cozy feel if sitting in the loft. They have the "Pear Necessities of Life" This is both a cafe for coffee and teas but also a bakery that serves breakfast and lunch. They are known for their bubble waffles, and crepes. But also have a large menu that has sandwiches, salads, flat breads and breakfast items. There should be something that appeals to even the pickiest eater. Ordering is done at the counter, and you receive a number, and the beverage and food are brought to your table. The menu is posted outside the entrance so you can check it out first. I went with a rose and cranberry lemonade that was a drink special, and the bubble waffle, and added strawberries and bananas. The bubble waffle intrigued me as I had never had one before. It is a honeycomb waffle popular in Hong Kong. It is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. It looks like bubble wrap, which is hard to tell as mine was covered in strawberries and bananas. I enjoyed the texture and flavors of it. The Gilded Pear is a great addition if you're looking for somewhere to grab a quick bite to eat.

Upon entering it's very clean, spacious and welcoming. The service was quick and staff were friendly. I had a free reward for signing up and opted for the sweet potato pecan cobbler, purchased one original peach cobbler and an Oreo puddin' Shake. First things first, all the cobblers come with vanilla ice cream. The original wasn't anything special, it's your average peach cobbler. I prefer more cobbler to anything. The sweet potato pecan cobbler was not good to me at all. The sweet potatoes were too chunky for my liking and were hard. My son ordered the Oreo puddin' shake which was another disappointment. He didn't like it and when I tasted it, all I could taste was whip cream. It was like a cup of whipped cream. It had Oreo crumbles on top but, not pudding consistency or Oreos throughout, it was like drinking a cup of whipped cream. Overall, I was able to say I've finally tried PCF but more than likely, I will not be going back to any of them.

I went with the "Cookies Make Everything Batter" in a cone, and it did not disappoint. The cake batter ice cream had just the right amount of sweetness. The Oreo cookie mix-ins added a perfect crunch to each bite. The waffle cone was fresh, crunchy, and paired perfectly with the ice cream. Our server was super friendly, helpful, and had a great sense of humor, which made the visit even more enjoyable. I only got a small since I had just eaten, but it was the perfect size to satisfy my sweet tooth. I could see how they might run into some delays if it gets busy, as there was only one person working and the group behind us had to wait a bit while she finished helping the three of us. That said, by the time we made our decisions and got in line, it was our turn, so it worked out. The shop was quiet with no background music, which made it feel a bit calm and low-key. A great first experience overall. I'd definitely go back to try other flavors.

The walls are decorated in sports memorabilia and September 11th tributes. When you walk in, you will see the Statue of Liberty. I tried to sit in the Mets section, but that was taken as it is a busy place, so I sat near the Yankees. I was ok with the photo of Don Mattingly and don't hate the Yankees, I just love the Mets. I made sure to spend some time in that section before leaving, seeing the 1986 tributes to Mike Piazza, Jose Reyes, and David Wright. It is just fun to be surrounded by the memorabilia. The sandwiches also follow in the New York theme. I ordered the Mr. Met, it had ham, turkey, and roast beef with lettuce, provolone, and tomatoes. I've had it before, so I knew it was good and ordered the full size rather than a half. I enjoyed every bite of it. The service was friendly, and they have daily specials with a different sub featured each day. The food was prepared fresh and fast. If you are looking for a high-quality sub, this is the place to order from.

I told her I love meat of all kinds. She recommended and I thoroughly enjoyed The Dark Knight. I took some great photos of their amazing deli. I recommend if you are in Smithfield, you must experience Gotham's Deli.
