Scott Mierisch was a great Salesman. However financing was absolutely ridiculous. We already had an offer from Capital one and we prefer to go with Capital one instead when we got there, they tried to pressure us and lied saying that Capital one payment was high kept trying to manipulate it to go with the credit union obviously because they have a relationship with them and I'm sure they get perks. Financing did not care about what we wanted. Financing took over three hours and My Husband was sitting there shaking because he hadn't eaten. He mentioned several times that he needed to leave and get food that he hadn't eaten in hours. My Husband already had the car picked out so literally all that he went in there to do was do the financing. Three hours is insane! The manipulation is insane, being deceiving is insane. If I could give zero stars I would. Alexus is very condescending and wouldn't negotiate on a BEAT UP vehicle at all. They were asking for more than what the car was actually worth. Considering all the damage, smoke damage, and the recall on the car that was never fixed the car was worth maybe 16k at the most. They wanted 21k for it and wouldn't negotiate a dime. If I could leave zero stars, I would. The entire experience was a case study in how not to run a service department, and the individual most responsible--Joe, the service manager--should seriously reconsider his career path. His lack of professionalism, empathy, and basic customer service instincts made a difficult situation even worse. From the moment I called to schedule my appointment, there were red flags. They incorrectly logged my vehicle as a 2018 Mercedes F250 (a vehicle that doesn't exist) instead of my 2005 Ford F250 diesel. I specifically called ahead to confirm they had the correct filters on hand to avoid delays. I was quoted $79 for an oil change--suspiciously low for a diesel truck, which I mentioned--but they confirmed it was accurate. It wasn't. They also confirmed filters that I provided numbers for, I showed up and no one had a clue what I was referring too and had to order and delay the service. When I arrived, Joe's attitude was immediately off-putting. Indifferent, disengaged, and dismissive--he gave the impression that customer concerns were beneath him. When the very capable woman at the desk tried to get answers from Joe to ease my hesitation, he shrugged and said, "We don't have a diesel tech--we'll figure it out." Said loud enough for the entire service bay to hear. That instilled zero confidence in their competence. I waited over two hours for a job that took 48 minutes--and my truck sat finished in the bay for nearly 40 of those minutes while I was left waiting. When I got the bill, I nearly fell over: $680 for an oil and fuel filter change, even though I supplied my own oil. The Motorcraft filters retail for under $30. Somehow, I was charged $160 for them. 2 Oil/coolant Filters around $18/ea charged $60+/ea. Labor 2 hours at $150 less than 1 hour of work performed. Joe offered no explanation--just repeated "I'm not arguing on price" over and over like a broken record, unable or unwilling to provide any transparency or rationale. When I calmly asked about the inflated labor charges and filter markups, he acted like I was attacking him personally. He had zero interest in retaining a customer who owns five personal vehicles, four fleet trucks, and runs a classic car business. His response? "One and done--pay the bill." I brought all of this to the GM's attention, who was more receptive but ultimately excused Joe's behavior because "he does a lot for us." That kind of blind loyalty to an unprofessional employee is exactly why experiences like this continue to happen. Joe may be in a managerial position, but he lacks the basic communication skills, customer awareness, and situational tact needed to represent any public-facing business. If this shop wants to retain even a shred of credibility, it should seriously reevaluate who it allows to lead its service department. Unfortunately for me this review is not where it stops. Said they "test drove it many times" yet my mileage was still the same. Took it to another dealer and found out my clutch needed repair and they missed a massive leak at the transmission twice when they looked at last October 2024 and the past time in July 2025. They tried to jack the price of what was listed by $5k, after a lot of back in forth I finally was able to get the listed price but they we not willing to negotiate current issues with the vehicle nor fix them. After having the car for 1 day it developed a noise and after taking it to a reputable mechanic I am coming out of pocket another $1.6k. They would not return my calls or take responsibility. We were looking at a vehicle with the salesperson and heard small fragments of glass in the trunk lid when opening. It was obvious the back windshield had been broken at one time (no accidents reported on Carfax report.) The salesperson assured me they would "take care of that at no charge." I mentioned this throughout the entire purchasing process and was reassured each time it would be taken care of at no charge. I've reached out to the Auffenberg office and Auffenberg Ford dealership to schedule this repair that was part of the deal. I've reached out 3 times. I left a voicemail for the office manager, RT and spoke to 2 different associates that told me they would pass along the message. I've learned the Salesperson is no longer there. PLEASE NOTE: This dealer has a sign prominently posted offering free oil changes for five star reviews. This compromises review quality, in my opinion. Take any reviews here with a grain of salt. I dropped off my vehicle off at 8am for recall work, was told it would be done by 2pm, and they would call me. Kevin tried to get me to get my rear differential fluid done also (at the cost of ($289) though it wasn't even on the maintenance schedule. I told him no. 2pm came and went, and no call. I called them at 2:40 and left a message with a tech, despite having to use a different extension because the "voicemail was full" for the service status mailbox. I did not receive a callback. I finally went down to the shop 1.5 hours after my vehicle was promised to be done, and was finally told they had to order parts for the recall repair, and that it wouldn't be done until the following day. They never bothered to call and keep me in the loop on any of it. When I made the appointment., I went into the shop last week IN PERSON and demonstrated the recalled item's non-functionality. The appointment repair was scheduled a week later. They should have ordered the parts at that time, but no. I was requested to leave it overnight and they'd do the repair first thing in the morning. The next day, since the phones still weren't working. I dropped by at 11am, after leaving another message at 9am for a callback. They couldn't even tell me for sure whether the parts had even arrived. Kevin gave me his personal cell number since he said he wasn't aware of any phone issues. I texted him that I needed the truck by 2pm. He stated that they couldn't get it done by then. I said, "we are done here, I am coming to pick up the truck". I told I needed a shuttle to get the truck now, and he told me they were "on lunch". Rather than wait, I rode my bicycle the five minutes to the shop to get the truck, where I was told "it's all apart, and it's going to be at least ten minutes while they reassemble it". Three minutes later, he pulled it into the bay. While I was waiting for the truck, another customer and I struck up a conversation about the issues he was having with them overcharging his warranty and trying to upsell him on things not needed (see differential above). So it's not just me. I will not be returning to this dealership. I would rather drive 30 minutes to the next closest dealership than patronize these people again. They will not be getting a fake five star review from me. I wouldn't let these people touch my truck again. read more

I purchased a 2018 jeep wrangler 2 weeks of ownership and less than 400 miles if has an antifreeze leak that has already drained the overflow tank you can smell antifreeze. This place was absolutely awful to deal with. The salesman (at least John) & managers both were terrible and showed they do not care about their customers. Let's start with John Floyd. Typical car salesman who will lie to get a sale. First, tried to add on this ceramic coating and interior coating package THREE times even though I had already told him no. He kept leaving and coming back with smaller monthly payments. I bought a car that has dents, I don't care about a protective coating. He also claimed it was included in the price he was showing me so I "might as well just get it". I realized that was a lie & asked what the price difference would actually be. "Oh maybe $10 less a month" it was over $100 less first of all, second.. it's still an extra $995 even if you get lower monthly payments. He tried to claim they were already putting it on the second time I said no to try and convince me. Heard him tell someone not to put it on after I said no the third time so there's another lie right there. He didn't write all of my income down, he wrote down what I make from door dash and that's it although I explained that's to fill in the gaps and not my main source of income. He didn't include anything else. He sold me a car that didn't have working air and when I called the same day of purchase to get it fixed he never even said sorry or anything just says "yeah bring it up we can fix it". I drove around all over for a car specifically that day & expressed how much I needed one that week. Of course they had it the whole week. I asked about a loaner car, I've had places loan a car before when stuff like this occurs.. what do I get told? "Oh you can rent one from us". Ha, no. They really only care about money here, not the customers. I emailed the finance manager, (James logston) about how John was not taking anything seriously & how I needed a car.. I honestly I was done dealing with john at this point. I wanted a manager to take over and what does he do? Tells me he forwarded my email to the sales manager and says he will get back to me (who never did) & went and told John I said he didn't take things seriously. So then I get this long email from John of course about it. How unprofessional of them! Also, if you care about covid watch out. They either don't wear masks or their halfway down their face. Let's move on to the day I go to get it fixed. I drop it off right at open Monday morning. 15 minutes later I get a text from John stating they can't get it in until Wednesday or Thursday. Told him that's weird because I just dropped it off. He then claimed he called the wrong place for an appointment. HE WORKS THERE. He said he was headed over and i told him we left & they're taking care of it already. 3 hours later he texts again and says he "got the authorization because it's already there" bud, I got the authorization when I dropped it off. Service department was okay, don't communicate well. They tried to charge me to fix the car. I refused as I had called about the issue the same day of purchase and brought it back there to be fixed. They accepted that but seriously? Not only will I not recommend this place I will be telling people to stay clear. They say honesty is their policy and they care about their customers but it's simply not true. read more

For me I always take my car to the dealer when I need a tune up. I have been doing this every 3,000 miles for the last 11 years. I would have to say this is the best one I've been to in that time. Great flexible schedule allowed me to bring my car in for it's 100,000 mike tune up without me missing out of work or other errands. They were able to identify 2 recalls on my car as well and replace with the parts on hand. This was great considering I had just brought my car to another Ford dealer at my old home and they said nothing. Awesome. Prices were good, and they were able to get my car running like new. I can tell they have the properly trained mechanics and staff on site. Also free coffee and WiFi, BOOM!!!!! I am definitely going to be using this place for all car maintenance while I am in the area. read more

This is my second purchase from this dealership. Around 1989-90 I purchased a one owner Cadillac Cimeron from here and I drove it for about 10 years! I plan on returning here to buy my grandson a used vehicle when he graduates next summer. I went in with an amount that I wanted to spend and JORDAN was very patient even when I changed my mind about 3 times. I want there with my wife this Saturday with preapproval in my hand looking at a specific vehicle to purchase. Not only does it take seven hours to get to see the finance guy but once I was in his office, he ran through everything for us to sign very quickly and we didn't even see what we are signing. He only showed us a little e-signature box to sign. Naïve of us probably but we were hoping that he was on the up and up. He told us that tire changes and oil changes were all included in the price of the car. When we looked at the sales contract the next day, we found out that he had slipped a $3000 extended warranty in the contract that we were not aware of and never agreed to. When I went back there today to speak to him, he took a half an hour of me sitting in the lobby before I finally got pissed off enough and went to his office where he and a couple of other sales people are just hanging out. I told him of our our frustration and then asked about The extended warranty that we want aware of and he didn't seem to give a shit. This place is totally dishonest and will fuck you every chance they get. I am telling everybody I know to stay the heck away from this place. Be very careful if making a reservation for one of Ford's new models. This dealership will convert your reservation into an order without getting your consent, and even go as far as to change the vehicles features thinking you won't find out, and I'm guessing, they believe you will refuse the vehicle when it comes in. Shady dealership trying to use the old bait and switch method. Little do they know that when it's your reservation number, you get an email on everything that takes place. I also have an email dated recently to them that I was not ready to convert. Make sure everything is in writing and documented with them if you decide to use them, but I wouldn't. RUN. UPDATE: It turns out I was talking to and being blown off by the wrong people. Spoke to Mike on the recommendation of Alex. Mike together with Jason and Dade were great. Listened to my concern and went above and well beyond what I would have been happy with and are working to get this issue resolved. Lesson learned when you mention to someone there seems to be something off don't take their word for it being okay and don't leave the lot until I'm satisfied. In a few months when the wife is ready to trade her vehicle off these are the ONLY individuals I will deal with. Terrible dealership. I wish I could have gave less than 1 star. When to look at a used truck. Truck was filthy and had obvious defects and missing parts. Looked at a second truck that I liked and ended up making a deal. Truck smelled a little like fuel but they had just filled it up for me and I figured that was issue. After a couple days and the smell not going away I look under truck to see a fuel line having a steady leak. After many attempts to call dealership and the salesman not calling me back (Terry) I finally got to speak to a manager. He told me the only way they would even think of paying for the repairs was to bring it to them and they may not even pay for it then. Bottom line this dealership is terrible. read more
