Just call Mike and save time, energy and trying to figure stuff out on your own. We had our TV sound out -I thought the ceiling speakers were blown out-had no clue as to how to approach this issue. We also have been juggling with two remotes, one for ROKU, other for TV. Mike responded to my call the same day, diagnosed problems over the phone and came out with all the equipment options even before anticipated. We were so thankful. Mike walked me through what was wrong, how to fix it and helped me understand what our system now provides us in terms of entertainment and enjoyment. Mike was very knowledgeable and his service was excellent. He was on time and he cleaned up after all his work. Was very through and detailed. I had an old home theater setup but it was not well done. There were wires exposed and holes in the drywall. Mike installed my new 60" TV and helped organize the wiring to the speakers, TV, the DVD palyer and reciever. That's the good news. Now for the bad. I bought these LeGrand home theater wall boxes, the kind that had audio, cable, network plugs so I don't see the wirings coming directly out of the wall to the receivers. I just like that more finished look. What I got in one wall was a hole with 2 cables and 2 speaker wires coming out from the wall to the modem/router. I brought these banana plugs for the speaker cables but he didn't like them and we ended not using them. I also brought this new Sony reciever from Costco because I read some good reviews. It turns out that Mike doesn't like Sony and perferred Yamaha. So we ended up using my old 6-year Yamaha reciever. At the end of the day we ended up having to use 3 remote controls just to use the TV, one for the Yamaha reciever, one for the Times Warner box and one to control the TV instead of the one we were using for the old system. We hired Mike to mount our tv and set up and install our surround sound. Mike made us feel at ease since both my husband and are clueless on this type of set up, he explained everything he would do. Let me begin by saying that in a nutshell, this is a terrific company run by a very honest and knowledgeable professional who knows exactly what he is doing! Awesome job he did for us just yesterday (with a friend Eric) - clean, smooth, took his time (was at our place from 9a through 9p, no kiddin'!), was patient, and i could see he was thinking through problems as he encountered them while doing the job. So what did Mike and Eric do for us? Plenty: 1. Installed a 60" Samsung TV in our living room and wire that with a 7.1 home theater system that involved placing in-ceiling speakers, cutting through the dry wall and running wires through them. 2. Installed outdoor speakers and hooking them up to the zone 2 of our receiver. 3. Installed another 32" TV in our master bed and wiring the same with another pair of in-ceiling speakers, and hooking that up to our existing receiver. All of the above were mostly home-improvement tasks, which placed an added concern about the job being very well executed! Mike & Eric didn't disappoint. They showed up on time, were systematic, collaborated well, and most importantly, cleaned up very well after they were done (they brought their own vacuum cleaner!). At the end, right about 7:30p, Mike stayed back to explain the entire setup, the use of the universal remote, the receiver features, the TV features and any other Q that my wife or I could throw at him.
