I did a search of local shops that did window tinting and was quoted $88 for two windows. I called around to another shop and they quoted me just under $300 for tint removal and applying new tints. I will note that the parking situation is a bit difficult. I pulled up a few minutes before opening and the lot was full in front of the shop so I pulled in to the lot next door. Also, backing out is kind of scary because it is just the main road once you back of of the driveway. The service was great, the gentleman checked me in right away and I said I was going to wait for the tinting to be done and said it would not take too long. And he as right because the whole process took about an hour! It was really incredible - there was one guy checking in all the cars, answering questions, and he did the tint removal and application by himself! The tints come with a lifetime warranty of car ownership. There were little bubbles on the windows a day or two after application but I was told this would happen. They went away after a few days. The tint is dark and even and I am happy with it. I would recommend this business to anyone looking to get fresh tints on their car windows!

Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience here…read more Prior to scheduling the work, I sent the following email outlining exactly what I wanted installed on my 2014 four-door Jeep Wrangler: "I have a 2014 four-door Jeep Wrangler that I am looking to upgrade and wanted to see if you are able to support the following installations: * A rearview mirror with an integrated backup camera. We are interested in the Echomaster part number MRCHDDVRJW, which tilts downward when reversing to assist with parking. * Upgrading the headlights to LED units. * Replacing the factory radio with a modern flat-screen system that supports Bluetooth, USB connectivity, wireless music streaming, and phone-based navigation. If you are able to complete these upgrades, please let me know your availability and provide an estimated cost for the full scope of work and parts so we can move forward with scheduling a time to install." I received the following email response confirming they could provide an equivalent solution for the camera: "Hey Justin, The Rydeen works the same way as well. It gives you a different angle when in reverse. I would have to order a few parts, and get you scheduled the week after Christmas. Let me know if this will work for you." Based on that email confirmation, I dropped my Jeep off in the morning for installation. When I picked up the vehicle, I immediately noticed that the camera does not tilt or change angle at all. It is a stationary camera. In addition, the camera is not properly secured. Any bump in the road causes it to point downward, making it impossible to see behind the vehicle. As a result, the rearview mirror is essentially unusable, which creates a safety concern. They also installed a radio, but it does not support wireless phone connectivity for displaying maps or navigation. When I brought this up, I was told that upgrading to that capability would cost an additional $1,500. This was never discussed prior to installation. The radio has no front-facing USB ports. The only USB connection was routed into the glove box. The expectation appears to be running a cable out of the glove box door, which is not practical. The USB connection is also not secured and frequently falls behind the glove box, requiring me to retrieve it repeatedly. Jeep dashboards have designated locations for properly mounted USB ports, which would have been a much cleaner and more functional solution. I also had to bring the vehicle back a second day because they did not have all the required wiring components to connect the steering wheel controls. I was only informed of this when I picked up the vehicle on day one, which required me to miss work again. Overall, the final installation did not align with what was represented in the emails. Several features were misrepresented, communication around capabilities and costs was lacking, and the installation quality did not meet expectations. Based on this experience, I would not recommend their services. I have photos documenting the issues and will add them to the Google review.

I was also referred to Blackjack Speed Shop from a friend that uses their other location. He has had multiple services done without ever having an issue. I have been here twice now resulting in a great experience. The first was for a roof rack with a light bar and the second was for a hidden light bar located above the front bumper. I had to wait for both projects to get completed which was ok since they have a nice seating area. Both times I was treated very professionally and they completed the job quickly. Afterwards they went over what was done and made sure that I was happy. As you can see from the pictures they have done a phenomenal job and the results are outstanding. 1/10 I DO NOT recommend getting any work on your car(s) at…read morethis place. I went here to get a brake fluid flush/bleed, exhaust rattle diagnosis, and also an exhaust leak concern. Dropped off my car morning 3/5 Got called about an hour and a half later to pick up. Talking with staff, I was told exhaust noise/leak could not be duplicated. I don't think they even tried. Noise is still active, at a very specific rpm range, a spirited test drive (hell even just quickly pressing the throttle while stationary can produce it) Exhaust leak is still there too. (It's minor, but there) they didn't even attempt to take off pipes causing leak. Like deadass nothing! Just put on lift, looked at it and said, "yeah, car is car" Also, I think they bled the brake system correctly (for the most part) but THEY caused a couple of dash lights to appear on my car dashboard (Had nothing when I dropped it off) dude I spoke with told me "it was already there" when I dropped it off! The fucking nerve... I researched it today (3/6) and found a quick list of potential causes. Soo long story short, easiest thing for me to check/do was inspect brake fluid level... I did. It was near the low line. I filled it to just above max line. Dash lights (VDC, PARKING BRAKE light) went away immediately after. I checked that they were still active BEFORE I added fluid. (I fixed this at about midnight (3/7) when I got home from work. When I drove it off their place (3/5) I didn't notice problems with the braking force, pedal feel, leaks. But day 2 (3/6) noticed my steering wheel shaking lightly when I lightly pressed the brake pedal (way to work and back) I'm guessing it was caused because low brake fluid level post "repair/maintenance" that this shop caused. Broo, I easily ended up fixing an issue that THEY caused. Like I CAN DO BETTER WORK THAN THEM. That is some severe incompetence. I'd be embarrassed if I worked at a shop (for profit) and my customers fixed my mistakes that I caused on their cars. They charged me $90 for half assing what they did and failing to identify/resolve most of my concerns. Seriously, if you value quality work, excellence, and (your safety) I didn't get their names (didn't care to honestly) Don't go to this place. There are better options in the SAT Metro area I only took a chance on this place because they're like 2 miles away from where I live and I was busy and a bit lazy and didn't want to do the work myself. Won't catch me making this mistake again. Also, I'm not going back again to explain to them their "work" caused more problems than it fixed. But yeah, beware.
