    Sony AX5000 installation in my 2011 Subaru Forester

    What a great experience. I had been chatting with Evan (sales) over a couple of weeks with regard to the Sony AX5000 I had chosen to be installed in my 2011 Sabaru Forester and he went to great lengths to source the required adapter/mount for my car. Called me on Tuesday morning, mentioned to me that he sourced the required part and asked if I'd like to come in at 2pm that day. So I drove from my home in Cedar Creek to San Marcos, was welcomed by his colleague Jake and then chatted to Evan. The work that was done is flawless. They were able to retain the steering wheel OEM controls for volume/mode, the dual USB ports were installed in the centre console (one is required for the CarPlay connection) and all was taken care of without a fuss. In fact the centre console was a little lose when I bought the car but it was fixed as a result of whatever they did during the install. Once completed the car was brought to the front of the store and I was given a thorough explanation of the units functions and that was it. I had a bit of an (expected) wait in the store whilst it was being installed but I felt "at home" waiting, was provided with water and the whole afternoon was a wonderful break from all what is going on around me. Most likely, when I get a few more coffers together ($$) I think I'll have the speakers upgraded too. My thanks go out to Evan in Sales, and the installers Kris and Travis, and a thank you to the Manager, Drew for having a great team working with him. Happy Thanksgiving and we'll see you soon.     I needed to install a stereo in my 2002 Ford Ranger and send and email to Audio Outlet. Not only did they respond quickly but I had my stereo installed that same day. These guys are the real deal if you need any stereo installation. Thanks to Evan and Kris for making this process so easy. Y'all rock!

    I went into the store on 5/30, spotted a chaise loveseat I wanted. I spoke to Thalia and said I…read morewanted to purchase it, so she gave me a printed quote for the loveseat; she was well aware that I wanted the entire loveseat configuration we were looking at on the sales floor. Thalia told me they didn't have it in stock, but they'd have it by 6/7, and they could deliver it by 6/8, and that I would pay for it when they confirmed they had it ready. She went to the computer and confirmed my contact information. I called the store this afternoon, as I hadn't heard anything, yet; spoke to Matt, who tells me Thalia's been trying to reach me, but they said they had a different number on file; strange, because I've done business with this store before, and I've had the same phone number for eight years. On top of that, Matt tells me that Thalia misquoted the furniture, stating that it's two separate components, and that the total price for both pieces would be more than twice the original quoted price.......and there's nothing on my printed quote that says it's one of two pieces, or that it's one piece of a bigger set or that it's an incomplete set. On top of that, if I were to pay the new ridiculous price, I would have to wait another week for the second piece to come in. I explained to Matt that I shouldn't be penalized for Thalia's mistake, and all he says is that I'm welcome to come into the store so he can show me what Thalia should've showed me. So, not only am I able to get the complete furniture set I was promised this week, but I won't get it at the price I was quoted, a price which was explained by the customer sales representative for what was to be the whole furniture set. Ridiculous. Poor customer service.
