Came here with hubby on a whim to look for under lights for our truck. Ended up purchasing a box, speaker, under lights, LED headlights, screen, & back up camera. John the GM was who helped us! Great customer service, very professional, & friendly. Best deals in town! John was able to hook it up for us. My husband has been a previous customer of theirs for a while. They've definitely retained a customer through us which is why we will continue to come back! Huge variety of options to choose from in stock. What they don't have, they can order for you! We came here within the last hour of closing. We were able to leave our truck there & it'll be ready for us by tomorrow.

Best Prices hands down! Great customer service & great customer satisfaction! They came across my Facebook feed & I was actually looking to upgrade my head unit and get some bass. Took a trip to their shop (741 Broadway, Chula Vista) because I was around the area and they have so many quality products. As I entered I was happily greeted by John, super friendly guy, very informative. They had the exact Sony (XAV-AX6000) unit & subwoofer (kicker hideaway) unit I was looking for. They gave me a great price I couldn't say no, I took the deal on the spot. Installation was relatively quick. I was also being very nit-picky and was giving my input as they went for example microphone placement but they accommodated to my requests and got the job done! To me that's great customer satisfaction. I highly recommend them for your next audio upgrade.

My dash in chinese.

So look I am going to be as transparent as possible for this. Yes. The car is loud. I do love how it sounds. Now here is what issues I ran into and I will forewarn you, they are pretty big. I went in because my car had bluetooth issues in the stock radio. I wanted the pioneer installed. I did financing and WHAT DO YOU KNOW I got approved. He used TWO DIFFERENT FINANCING companies. So instead of giving me what I wanted, he maxed out the amount I was approved for and said he would "take care of it" as well as "install a 'tesla screen'". Never heard of any brand like that but assumed it looked like the huge tesla ones. I was wrong. The install took awhile and when I finally was able to get in the car.. MY DASH ALERT SYSTEM WAS IN CHINESE. So I added things up obviously and now I have paid 1300 dollars for a radio from china that when I looked up, is AT MOST 200 dollars. The one person who I absolutely know is well versed and was willing to help me if anything was wrong is Tony. That guy installed everything correctly and came out to help me try and change it back to english. He is the ONLY reason this review is more than 2 stars.

John was great, they installed a back camera in my vehicle no problem. It works good.

I don't usually write reviews unless I've had a BAD experience with a business, and this was one of them. People deserve to know what actually goes on at this place. I found this shop on Google and saw it had amazing reviews, so I called to ask for a quote. They told me it would be between $49 and $100, which seemed reasonable, so I decided to go in the next day. When I got there, the manager named John greeted me by reaching out for a handshake, which I initially wanted to believe he was just trying to be friendly. I told him why I was there, and he immediately said it would be $125. I reminded him of the quote I was given on the phone, and he said okay, he'd do it for $100 instead. He then asked to see my car, and after looking at it, he asked me, "Are you Spanish?" I responded, "No, but I can speak Spanish. Why?" Then he said, "What are you then?" and "You have beautiful eyes." That instantly made me uncomfortable. Then after I asked a few more questions, he dropped it again to $80, saying he gave me more discount, which I thought was a little odd, but I said okay. I paid $80 in cash, and they handed me a weird form to sign. It didn't look like a typical receipt. So I asked, "What am I signing for?" and he said it was to verify me to have warranty in their system. I was confused but wrote down my name and phone number and signed it like he told me to. While he was putting my name in their system, I was on my phone waiting until he was done. Then he said, "Give me your phone so I can have you in the system," acting like he was trying to help me set up something for my warranty. I gave him my phone, but I was watching him because I already had uneasy feelings about him. I closely watched what he was doing, and I saw him open up Google Maps, then the review page for their store, and then he clicked on 5 stars. I literally saw the stars turn yellow, and I was thinking, what the hell is he doing? Then he proceeded to tap "Add Photos," which opened MY photo album. I immediately grabbed my phone back and asked him what he was doing. He gave me some bs excuse like, "I was just trying to take a picture of the store for verification and feedback," which made ZERO sense. First of all, I hadn't even received the service yet. And second, what the hell does "feedback" even mean if it's coming from you? It was so obvious he was trying to secretly write a fake 5-star review for his own shop using MY phone without permission, and straight up opened MY photo album like it was nothing. So I said, "I can do that myself, right?" and he goes, "Yes, of course, you can write it whenever you want!" acting all innocent like nothing happened. And then he tried to go for a handshake AGAIN, which made it even creepier at that point. That was it. I told him I had to leave and asked for a refund. He clearly didn't want to give it and kept trying to convince me to wait for their workers to return from lunch even though I had already told them beforehand I didn't have time to wait. But honestly, it wasn't even about the lunch. I wanted to leave because everything about the situation, his behavior and demeanor, gave me a seriously bad gut feeling. After trying to convince me like at least 5 more times, John said he needed the general manager's approval. The GM came, approved the refund, and John gave me my money back. Then he asked for the receipt. There were two copies, so I asked if I could keep one, and he said no, that he had to keep both. I told him it had my name and phone number on it and that I wasn't comfortable leaving it, and he said he'd rip them. I saw him rip them just in half, which honestly didn't make me feel any better before my info was still there, just in two pieces. I walked out and sat in my car, and right before I was about to leave, John came to the back of the parking lot and tried to talk to me through my window, which was closed. I didn't feel safe, so I didn't open it. He tried to offer me the service AGAIN for $40. Following someone to their car after they had already said no multiple times is creepy as hell and just straight up disrespectful. The whole experience made me feel extremely uncomfortable, disrespected, and manipulated. And now it makes complete sense how this place has so many 5-star reviews, because they literally write them from people's phones without their permission or knowledge. I'm young and know how to use a smartphone, so he got caught. I might look young, and yeah, I'm a woman, but I'm not the type you can fool that easily. I knew and SAW exactly what he was doing. He thought he was slick, and when he got caught, he tried to play dumb like nothing happened. Now imagine what he'd do to older people who aren't good with phones. I wonder how many times he's done this and gotten away with it. This is not how you run a business. It's shady as hell, it's predatory, and it's disgusting. They don't deserve a single penny from anyone.

Broken panel

Man this place dissapointed me considering Chitucan vouched for this place. I been here a couple times and the first time was fine. Until the second time around where the owner gave me a deal for 4 speakers and window tint. Except the speakers were never even connected. When I went to go get them properly installed I found scratches on my dash and had panels broken. One of the guys in charge still wanted me to say thank you because I didnt have to pay for their mistakes when it's not my problem and should've been done right from the get go. Really crap service, on top if that the owner needs to stop stop farming fake reviews.

My experience with Carlos in the San Diego Tint Specialist location in Main Street. First of all I…read morelooked up where to do my tint and I got multiple options, based on reviews and ratings I decided to ask more about this location. Initially I requested to be quoted on yelp, no response for a good amount of hours which isn't a big deal since I just decided to call and was able to get my quote quickly over the phone. We were able to set up an appointment and he actually set it at 8:15am because I asked for it to be done soon because of work and he had another client after when he's usually at least I've seen open at 9am which I can appreciate. When I came to the appointment there was a positive and a negative, the positive is he helped me decide on the right tint 5% on back 45 % on front 2 and 70% windshield CXP but there was a spontaneous 60$ increase to my price from 700 to 760$ due to him running out of the tint i was initially going for and switching to CXP which at first I was skeptical but I think the result was worth it and it comes with a *limited* life time warranty. Overall 2 hiccups, it's not a big operation & the guy who helped was very polite and explained things very openly which I can also appreciate, I'm happy with my experience and result and I would definitely recommend this place to the people I know as well as any person reading.

I reached out to this shop because they were highly rated on Yelp and wanted to get pricing and…read moreinformation on tinting my car. I was upfront that I didn't really understand the differences between ceramic and nano ceramic tint and was hoping for guidance on what would make the most sense for my vehicle and budget. Unfortunately, the conversation didn't feel very helpful or welcoming. When I asked about ceramic tint, I was told I "didn't need it," but when I asked why, the explanation came across more dismissive than educational. The shop may very well do quality work, and I can't speak to their installations, but customer experience matters too. I was hoping for a more informative and respectful interaction, especially as someone trying to learn before making a purchase decision.
