I brought my car in for a basic amp and subwoofer install, and left with a broken trunk. Sammy and their so-called "BMW specialist" clearly didn't know what they were doing. After paying $600 (plus a $100 tip I now deeply regret), I discovered my trunk wouldn't even open when I got home. I drove 90 minutes back to have them fix it, only to witness the two employees arguing with each other while I stood there. I have the entire exchange on camera. They didn't fix the issue. Instead, the owner had the audacity to text me taking responsibility--but then tried to push me to another location TWO HOURS away for a "possible" fix. Absolutely not. I ended up taking it to BMW directly, where it cost me $1,100 to properly repair the damage they caused. I initiated a chargeback to cover the BMW repair since I refuse to pay twice for someone else's mistake. I also had to warn the owner that further harassment or slander would be met with legal action. For the record, this is the third time I've tried posting a review--apparently, they've been getting negative reviews deleted. Oh, and before you trust this business, maybe look up the seven liens against it--including one on the owner personally. They present themselves as friendly and professional--until something goes wrong. Then it's blame-shifting, dodging accountability, and trying to sweep things under the rug. I called and talked to Sammy about upgrading my system in my 2022 Pathfinder over the phone, Sammy suggested to come in so he can show and I can hear the system he has, so I made an appointment to meet and go over what I was looking for in a car system, I met with TJ and Sammy and they went over what I would need to upgrade for a better sounding system. Brought my SUV a few days later and had it done, I am very happy with the outcome, upgraded speckers amps and subwoofer. I initially went to Audio Excellence to get a Carco vehicle inspection done for my insurance company. I chose them because I knew I wanted to purchase a subwoofer and enclosed box. Since I had a amp that was already hooked up. Long story short. Sammy sold me a single 12" kicker just under $160 with box included. It was plug and play since I had Everything else. Not even an hour after leaving the shop. I smelled a terrible smell. I shown my friend what I bought. And we realized the sub wasn't working anymore. And the smell was coming from the sub. I called Sammy. He said no problem. Come back. I returned the next morning. A tech opened truck and smelled the box from the ported hole and was like WHEW! It's blown. He also yanked the box out (instead of unscrewing the screw PROPERLY) that they screwed in my trunk with an ELECTRIC DRILL(with bracket. Because I didn't want box sliding around). Left a very visible hole in trunk. Long story short. Sammy tried to sell me a "upgraded" version of what I bought. And I just pay the difference. Or replace the one I have since it's under warranty. I went ahead and requested for a refund. And was charged a restocking fee. I don't believe I should have been charged. Because NOBODY tuned my amp to work accordingly with amp. Just plugged it up and swiped my card. It's completely their fault, they knowingly sold me a sub that wasn't worthy of my JL Audio HD 900/5 amp. I held my tongue because I was frustrated and didn't feel like arguing. I felt like I was screwed over big time. I later stopped somewhere else and the guy said the kicker was far too weak for amp and they knew better than to hook that junk up in my car. My good friend who knows about subs met up with me. And helped pick out a QUALITY sub. The audio guy and my friend guaranteed I won't blow the single 12" American bass XR-12D2. And it came with 30 day full refund money back guaranteed (IN FULL) and warranty. So far I love it!!! And hits way HARDER and better than the kicker, audio Excellence sold me. Just to think I was going to recommend a Security company to go to Audio Excellence for all their squad car needs. Since they work on UCF police vehicles. And I was going to go back to get my windows tinted. That's what I get for jumping into things without knowledge of what I'm purchasing. The fact that they're at fault for all this too happen and should know better. And didn't want to give me full refund for something that didn't last an hour pissed me off. these guys at the audio excellence shop went out of their way to make sure I got what I wanted and needed. they say they couldn't finish the job but went out their way to get it done even after hours I'm super pleased with my setup and Sam did his thing. from hiding all the wires, my to my tweeters hidden and still sounds like it's next to your ears. again I can't thank them enough I would highly recommend everybody to go they are family owed and they do it all. I bought a used car that had crazy wiring by someone off the street. I took it here and Sammie and Trevor took a look at it. All i heard was holy sh*t. They were able to redo the entire lighting and fix it all. They stayed in communication continuous and the work is beyond excellent. I highly recommend them to you if you need lighting or stereo. Great job! Came in to repair a minor tint issue. No questions asked, they fixed it under warranty. In the meantime, I had them install subwoofers and an amp. They did a great job on adding lighting to my Honda. I had the following done: more backup lights in the back window, running lights in the front, lights in my grill, backup camera, and change my lights to LED bulbs. My Honda is a 2003 and I wanted to bring it up to date and they did it. Also, they have a paint shop and they painted my Honda and made it look new. My car is paid for so with these updates I no longer have the desire to buy a new car. While these updates did cost some money, it was cheaper than a new car. I am proud to be in my beautiful car with great lighting and backup camera. Talk to them and they have good ideas. read more
