His studio is an intimate space for fostering creativity and collaboration, and I can't say enough about his teaching style. He is encouraging, patient, talented, and depending on what you'd like to learn, he can run through heavy music theory or help you figure out how to play your own stuff. He really tailors lessons around your own goals. I brought in some difficult starter music and instead of telling me to start with something easier, he helped me pick it apart and take it piece by piece so I could eventually play what I wanted.
