Morn'n everyone, I have 21 chevy express which wanted to upgrade the audio system, I've done stereo work in past before cd's, mid 80's. Last year I bought a remote car starter from Audio Dezign that they installed. They explained all my options for remote starters and the prices. After it was installed, they had me use the remote starter to turn the car on to make sure it worked and that I knew how to use it. This winter I realized it stopped working so I called Audio Dezign, and they said I might be able to fix it myself without having to go in and gave me directions on how to try. It didn't work, so they said I could stop by whenever and that they'd take a look at it outside and try to fix it in a few minutes. So after I failed a recent state inspection on my "new to me" car because of tinted side windows, I searched on Yelp for a local tinting company and came across Audio Dezign in Middletown. I called, made an appointment to have the tints on the two side windows removed and voila! Sadly, no more tints. Who knew that in RI, they allow 0, yes ZERO % tint on the front windshield and front side windows. I showed up before they even opened, checked in when they did and about an hour later, my car was finished. It was $20 a window and they did a great job. I was afraid that there would be a residue of some sort left behind, but the windows are crystal clear. I would highly recommend this place, for all your tinting or un-tinting needs! read more

In OCT 2015 I took my brand new BMW to them to get the windows tinted. They got me in right away and took the time to explain my different options. I was very impressed with the end product and the fast service on a Saturday. However, when I went to put the back seats in the upright position my child seat covers were gone ($130 for replacement ones). I assumed they had to remove them when they put the seats down but when I went back and spoke to them about the covers the tech said he didn't know what I was talking about. It really upset me that I took a brand new car there and they took parts off it, then acted like I was confused for asking about it. Noticed today (June 2016) the tint is peeling on drivers side window. I plan on taking the car back to get it fixed but I will stay with the car this time to make sure nothing is removed this time. read more

I have a 67 mustang and I had my sound system modernized a bit before I came here. It had the speakers and the amp, but was seriously lacking in bass, loudness and deepness. So I came here to see what I could do. The owner was great, he knew exactly what it needed, and he installed an awesome woofer/amp in the trunk and I LOVE it. Im sure he would have been able to install speakers if it didnt already have them. He insulated the wires and everything.. He even played some songs in his car for me to listen to what it sounded like. He had it done pretty fast at a reasonable price- had it for a yearish and havent had any trouble. My car is a convertible, and the music can be easily heard and jammed to with the top down and thw wind blowing. If you are doing your homework and reading this then you have found a very good place to start. I had installed an after market system and was trying to trouble shoot a problem, Rock ask me to come down so he can help me figure it out. In the end we couldn't find the problem. I bought a groupon to have an automatic starter installed in my vehicle. A $300 value for the sale that Groupon was charging. He told my sister he installing of her specific vehicle would be $349- so what we thought we were getting on groupon was a great deal. After booking the groupon and calling to make the appointment he told my sister that he would have to charge her an additional $199 on top of what she had in her hands which was of $300 value. When calling from a different phone number and asking a quote on the exact make an model of the car he again tell my friend is only $349, so i asked him why he was trying to charge my sister an additional 199 to total $499 for something he is quoting other people at $349, He then tells me that he will only go by what the fine print states and charge me $100. I again ask why if anything she should only be paying an additional $49. and he states that no.. after a lot of back and forth- he agrees to doing her vehicle at $49 only to then tell me that he wont do it at $49, that he wont honor the groupon or want to do business anymore. he puts me on hold, calls groupon and cancels the transaction without me being informed at all. was this because of our accent when speaking with him that he was trying to take advantage or because we are women and should not know about vehicles? Fraudulent place. Trying to charge more than what he quotes the rest of the people just because we got a good deal on a $300 item? He is horrible of a person to deal with.
