I will definitely not use this establishment to repair my vehicles. Quoted $898 to replace brakes over the phone. Come into the dealership and get told that's only labor. It will be another $1,000+ for parts. OK who only quotes labor and not the full price to repair the vehicle???? Says it must have been a computer error...... Funny how the error only occurs when quoting over the phone. Just SAD. Something I'd expect from a used car store that sells salvaged vehicles. read more

I kept the Audi in good shape- I added below-average yearly miles on the car, had it serviced twice, and even paid several hundred dollars on some surprise repairs the vehicle needed (before I owned it) to retain good value in the Audi. Exactly one year later, I came in to upgrade to a new car. Audi offered me $13,000 less than what I purchased the car for and wanted me to pay for additional work on the vehicle before I traded it in, even though I had already invested a lot of money to maintain its value. My purchase from Audi Cape Fear was the worst financial decision I have ever made. I was setup on a day that worked for ME, given a gorgeous loner car, and constantly given updates on what was going on as it took longer than expected because additional parts needed to be replaced. They go above and beyond at this dealership, Thomas is an amazing asset to the customers that walk in that door and his customer service skills are out of the park. I'm in the dealership at this moment completing the purchase of my vehicle. My previous vehicle was totaled and I wasn't in a position to negotiate. The vehicle was a good value. This Q5 was supposed to be certified pre-owned and been through a barrage of testing. Upon my inspection, the motion-sensor on the trunk didn't work. There was also a recall that still showed as being open. Service wasn't in to fix the kick sensor so it was up to me to service it when i was back in the Charlotte area. I was assured the recall had been closed and Carfax hadn't updated yet. I was putting money down. They wouldn't take a card for the full amount; limiting it to $4k and charging me 3% for the remaining balance, unwilling to waive less than $200. Unbelievable they would charge an EXTRA $180 for a vehicle I was already paying full price for. Dan, the manager wouldn't waive the fee. I think treatment matters in this industry. I didn't feel my business was appreciated. I didn't feel my business was valued. I like Audi vehicles but the treatment in the dealerships is lack luster. Update--the day after I made it back home I got a call from my salesperson Wylie to let me know the recall hadn't been done....certified pre-owned huh? read more

This is certainly not the service you would typically expect and Thomas went above and beyond with absolutely everything. Everyone here is wonderful. The front desk guys are extremely helpful and knowledgeable and AJ is awesome. I called to get a recall problem fixed and they looked my car up in the system and seen that I was due for other service things too. I made my appointment and decided to do my big service as well. I explained I lived an hour away and my husband is in the military so he's gone almost all the time. I needed to get my car serviced but the service to be provided was super long, and I had to get back to be able to pick my son up from school. I told them of this issue and they immediately offered me a loaner car! Loaner cars are usually reserved for those that have purchased their vehicles from that specific dealership, and even though I purchased my car elsewhere, they helped me without hesitation! I got a cool A3 too, that thing has some nice pull to it... lol Anyway, they made sure everything was inspected, fixed, and good to go. I'm so happy I came here and I totally trust them with my car. She runs so beautifully now with the new plugs and battery. The waiting room is so nice and modern. Unlimited snacks for you and your kids if you need to wait. Mac systems throughout the dealership, and that pleases me so because I'm an Apple lover. Audi Cape Fear is really legit. I had a very good experience today at this dealership. Visiting my folks from Maryland, I was so impressed to drive up to the massive dealership and drive into a luxurious valet style service garage. I was greeted by CHRIS SPAIN who was just such a gentleman and got me situated right away. We left to go eat while they performed my 25k service and got back about 1hr45min. Chris was efficient, knowledgeable and just had a relaxing vibe to him. I also replaced the cabin air filter myself and could not get the cover back on and they took care of that free of charge. My husband was looking for a particular car but couldn't find exactly what he wanted at the local dealer. We decided to look outside our area and found the perfect (even the wheels were the ones he wanted) CPO at Audi Cape Fear, six hours from our home. My husband contacted the dealership and spoke with Dave Tignonsini who made a very positive first impression. Buying a car sight-unseen is something we've never done or even considered. We had to trust that the car we planned to buy was in the as-new condition Dave claimed. On the other hand, he had to trust that the car we planned to trade-in was exactly in the condition we described. Dave seemed very honest and helpful and offered us what we felt was a fair price. Everything was negotiated over the phone, and suddenly we were on a road trip to pick up our car. We had to drive a long way, and we did have a few doubts. I must admit that Cape Fear had an ominous ring, and besides, how could a long distance sale possibly go smoothly? Meeting Dave erased all our doubts and confirmed our first impressions. He was professional and personable which put us at ease instantly. The car was ready for us, and it was just as beautiful as he described. He introduced us to Dan Negri, the finance manager, who had all our paperwork filled out in advance. That made completing the transaction a breeze. These two friendly and knowledgable employees made an impressive team, and we are amazed that, thanks to both of them, everything transpired with no hassles and no issues. Before we left, we went back to the car for a mini-course to get familiar with its features. Hanging on the rear-view mirror was a bright red, hand-written congratulations sign that matched the beautiful red box containing our keys and Audi key chains. What a nice touch! Dave answered questions and explained just enough so we were comfortable, but not too much, knowing it would simply overwhelm us. We will treasure the photo that Dave took of us smiling as we stood next to our A6. After all was complete, we met Mike, the sales manager, yet another genuinely nice person. I am so glad we took this risk, which actually was not a risk at all, but one of best experiences we've had. As I told Dave, there's something to be said about a road trip/car purchasing combo. We loved visiting Wilmington that evening and seeing more of SC on our way home the next day. We won't hesitate to try this again someday, but in the meantime we are enjoying our stunning car. We're more than happy to share our positive experience with the hope that it encourages others to consider this five star dealership. Live 45 minutes from Wilmington. The engine lite on my 2014 Q7 came on just as I started my "shopping trip" - to Trader Joe's! I called Cape Fear Audi to see if they could look at the problem. Spoke to Max and he gave me an immediate Appintment. In the shop it was determined that I had a defective sensor error message which could be easily corrected, but the car needed to be on the computer for two hours to have the error message cleared! Shopping at Trade Joe's cancelled (or so I thought). Max arranged to provide me with a wonderful new Q5 to use to complete my shopping during those two hours. Great Customer Service!!
