They have the equipment to cut that type of key, but they refused simply because I didn't purchase the blanks from them. I understand businesses have the right to set their own policies, but turning away a paying customer for a service you're fully capable of providing seems shortsighted. If you don't sell the specific blanks a customer needs, refusing to cut them anyway doesn't make much sense. It left me feeling like they weren't interested in earning my business. It's awesome though that they are doing so well that they don't need my money.

I went on Monday to get an estimate/ look into the locks, and they came out on Thursday and replaced them! Dave was the gentleman who replaced my locks. He is super sweet and personable, and took the time to educate me on how the lock handle on my front door, which is original to the house, works! When he replaced the side door locks, he noticed my screen door didn't close properly, so he played with the speed of how fast it closed and was able to get it to shut fast enough to properly latch!! (And he didn't even charge additionally for that!!) Also!! They now accept card payments! I was slightly worried about how I was going to pay for the services, since I don't have checks, but they have a mini/portable card reader device they can use remotely!
