Sure, I have a lot of excuses-- age, infirmity, injury, procrastination, cats --but I don't really need excuses. The people who clean for others (homes, offices, apartments, boats, trailers...any place people might live or work) know that many people, fortunately millions, either do not like to clean or are unable to, or don't clean well. I am one of them. After 20 years in my apartment, which is in an old house, and sharing that apartment with two cats, the dust of decades has made me throw in the towel (instead of using it to dust). Through Yelp, I sent requests for estimates to several services. CWW Cleaners was the first to respond and the estimate was reasonable. I Googled it and looked at their website, so it didn't bother me that it was new to Yelp. Basil was always quick to respond and was able to get to me quickly. He worked alone for 3 and a half hours. As I'd said when I requested estimates, my apartment is about 800 square feet: living room, bedroom, kitchen, bath. I went out and ran some errands while he was at work. I returned as he was finishing up. Clearly he had worked methodically from back to front, mopped his way out, even taking the trash with him. What I had requested was dusting everywhere and clean kitchen and living room floors (wood and stone). First thing I noticed was that my apartment did not smell dusty. And it smelled clean. As I went about the rest of my day, I noticed he had done much more than just dusting and floors. He had even washed the few dishes I'd left in the dishpan. Incredibly, to me, he had moved the stove out to clean behind it. And he had not only noticed the ancient grease on the floor next to the stove, but moved the wrought iron pot rack and cleaned it out. I mean that grease was there when I moved in. I tried Dawn once, didn't make much headway, so ignored it. I suppose I'd believed that no one else would ever see it. But Basil did, and that was the end of the grease. In sum, yes. Any time I need cleaning I will call CWW Cleaners -- who, btw, came from Niagara Falls to downtown Buffalo to clean my little apartment. Thank you, Basil Davis. P.S.
