The actual website is the same though, so I kind of erroneously chose this page to review (there are more biz attributes here too so perhaps it's a more active business listing?) Secondly, I want to talk about their communication. I reached out to them about HVAC maintenance/regular duct cleaning for our house via their website and I got a response SUPER quickly (my email timestamps say within 3 minutes!!) The email communications to explain what we needed and the requirements they had to access our house were super clear and it was incredibly easy to schedule a timeframe for the team to come. I even had to reschedule a couple times and Michelle, whom I was emailing with, was very professional and very quick on making sure we had an appointment set with them. Day of, the service team sent me a text about an hour before their arrival to let me know their ETA so we were ready to see them at the door. Super helpful for us while working from home so we could anticipate the visit. Thirdly, the actual service. We just moved into our house and found mold in the basement walls so beyond routine duct cleaning, we did need some extra treatment for the mold and cleaning. The cleaning team came by and chatted with my husband about what exactly we wanted and they clearly walked us through the pricing for all the cleaning and work they were going to do. They were very respectful of our space and really didn't bother us much at all. All in all, 5 stars. We feel a lot more peace of mind with seeing the vents cleaned and feel that this was a necessary step to help with the mold removal process in our home! Their price is reasonable, however during their intake information they should have recorded that it was a two family house or at least ask a series of questions so that when they arrive the price is not nearly double of what I was initially quoted. When they arrive at the house they didn't seem like they wanted to do the job and I would give them the benefit of the doubt just because it is the holiday season and nobody wants to go to work, but that first impression is they weren't wanting to do the work. For most folks - like my wife and I - the dryer vent is not a major thought. We take the filter out, clean it, and return it - and believe we have done all we can to keep our dryer clean and safe (i.e., fires do result from a build-up of lint). But we were surprised - and shocked--one day to find the dryer filter would no longer fit. A flashlight look revealed a horrible build-up of lint, packed so hard it could not be scraped. My wife contacted C & J for no particular reason, and wow: they fixed the problem, to be sure. But they did more than that: showing me before and after pictures of the lint build up, cleaning the vents, and charging an extremely fair price. On top of that the two folks - Chris and Joann - were friendly, engaging, and patient with my questions.
