He gives service the old-fashioned way by being smart and great at his job. And each and every time I have left satisfied, with the problem solves, or with the item I needed in hand. I've never written a report like this before, but he has earned it. Thank you, Declan.

Kitchen/ 2 bathroom renovations:…read more Working with Sarah Snyder was one of the best decisions we made during our renovation journey. We originally walked in thinking we just needed help redesigning our kitchen, but after meeting with Sarah and seeing her vision, we ended up renovating our kitchen and two bathrooms--and we couldn't be happier. From day one, Sarah made us feel like we were her top priority. She guided us through every detail, listened to what we wanted, and somehow turned our ideas into something even better than we could have imagined. She was always available to answer questions, offer advice, and reassure us throughout the process. The truth is, we trusted Sarah completely. Every design choice she recommended was spot on. We loved everything she suggested, and if Sarah told us to do something, we did it without hesitation because we knew she had our best interests in mind. Looking back, we're so glad we trusted her expertise. What impressed us most was how much she genuinely cared. This wasn't just another project to her. She went above and beyond at every stage, managing everything from start to finish and making what could have been a stressful experience feel exciting and enjoyable. Our home has been transformed, and we owe so much of that to Sarah. We are incredibly grateful for her talent, patience, responsiveness, and dedication. If you're lucky enough to work with Sarah, you're in the best hands possible. thank you Sarah!

They don't have everything like Home Depot but short of a 40 minute drive when you really need something oddly specific, this place almost certainly had you covered with a few options to choose between. We purchased a pellet stove from McCuin O C & Sons about four years ago. The day they installed it,…read morethey were professional, incredibly courteous, and definitely impressed us. Other contractors we've had in the home (from plumbers to electricians) have left messes for us to clean up or failed to show up when promised. McCuin didn't do any of that. The Harman they sold us has been an amazing stove that's given us no problems over the years. It heats the entire house and has virtually eliminated our need to rely on more expensive propane. The wood stove we have in the basement and the pellet stove in our living room has been more than enough. After this very long, cold winter, it started making a horrible squealing noise on Monday, fingernails on the chalkboard bad, and they had someone out within a day to look at it. The same guy who installed it came out and fixed it. Turned out a bearing in the auger was going. That they had the part on the truck and fixed it right there and then definitely impressed us. If you're looking for a pellet stove, I have nothing but high praise for the guys at McCuin and highly recommend them.

I had a particular issue that was entirely not my fault after picking up an expensive piece of equipment where a MAJOR part was missing but was assured it was included in the original package I picked up. They actually wanted me to drive back 1.5 hours in each direction instead of shipping it out to me as good customer service. In the end, they ended up shipping the part but it was done passive aggressively. I tried to give my business to a smaller business but I regret it and should have purchased the product from Lowes in the first place where they give a 5% discount.

Sexually harassed by cashier…read more I was in Ace Hardware this past Saturday. I am a female. The older, male cashier asked for my phone number for the rewards program, and my name was apparently displayed him (CHW?). My name is very similar to a somewhat well-known porn star. I had to stand there (uncomfortably) during the course of my purchase and listen to the cashier discuss in detail how awesome it was that I was named for a porn star (which, of course, I wasn't). I get it, some people watch porn. That doesn't mean I want to be sexually harassed while making a purchase. I used to really like this particular Ace, but because of this experience, I will never go back.
