Green Mountain Habitat for Humanity is a wonderful thrift store…read more I highly recommend this shop to anyone who is in the market for clothing, shoes, purses, books, jewelry, glassware, dishes, utensils, notebooks, knickers-knacks , rugs, furniture, framed pictures and seasonal items. This store invariably deserves my utmost regard, as in the last ten years l have frequented this shop, it upholds its standard of selling good quality merchandise, of providing friendly and helpful staff and a clean and inviting atmosphere. "My hat off ". to this fine establishment for donating its proceeds to building homes for those in need. This says a LOT about both management and the state of Vermont. This is a great place both to shop and to donate. Highly recommended!

I had understood that it was due at least in part to a shallow grade of the outlet pipe...whatever. A couple of years ago, it had gradually become clogged enough that it was draining painfully slowly. I had RotoRooter out to clear it, and when the work was done, it was much better. It drained just fine, like before. Over two or three months this past fall, it gradually slowed down again, and I waited because I remembered how expensive it was the last time. Finally, there was no more waiting. It had become gross, it was so *disgustingly* slow, and I was even wondering whether it would require major work of some kind. I am so happy to have seen the glowing reviews here of Pipe Dreams. I called them & they were able to get me in in two days. Tyler was here for about an hour, and the tools he used were very different from the long, manual snake that RotoRooter had used. It/they were motorized things that had a reach far down the pipes. Tyler explained that he was staying mindful of the neighbors' pipes and not disturbing those. When he was done, he filled the sink with water & then released it. Since we bought this place all those years ago, I had NEVER seen it empty so fast, and I didn't even think it was possible. The water began to spin and make the most beautiful whirlpool and then was gone. The whole time he was here, Tyler could not have been more considerate, clear in his communication, and helpful. He also gave me tips on how to keep the drain clear. I kept meaning to write this review soon after he was here, but it's now been three months - oops! Here is the bright side to the delay: I can report that the sink has been draining wonderfully ever since, and it makes me soooo happy every time I use the sink. Call Pipe Dreams! You will be glad you did.

They had to find a different pump, and electrical replacement solutions. They were great and did it with positive attitudes and friendly hardworking ethics. They were hired by our contractor to drop off a dumpster. They had a very hard time navigating our…read moredriveway. I heard the driver tell his boss he didn't think he could make the turn into the drive, but his boss told him to do it anyway. They ripped up our side yard and crush a big chunk out of the driveway. They told our contractor that they would come fix the driveway after the work was done. Our contractor said he called them to come and fix it, but they never got back to him so it was up to me to bug them. I called multiple times and never got a call back from the owner. I finally got the number for him directly and got a hold of him, he said they'd come in the spring to fix it. It is now almost the end of the summer and I haven't heard a peep.

When my wife has called in the past, she was told not to call- that they'd be by to pick up. Well- 3 days with no pickup and my wife calling and texting ,even sending a message through FB. I called today- they came (very much appreciated) but LEFT the recycle on the curb! I hate to post against a family owned business- and I'm not sure if there has been a generational change- but... time to go with the corporate service Customer beware! Not satisfied and very disappointed. Now- we'll have to pay someone else for the recycle... since JR Son's left us in a pinch
