We really enjoyed working with Todd, and the trailer had everything we wanted. Unfortunately, the experience after the sale has been disappointing. Within the first season, the finish on several cabinet doors began peeling. We notified the dealership and agreed to bring the RV in after our camping season to handle it under warranty. When we picked it up months later, several documented issues were left unrepaired, and the overall tone from staff made it clear they were ready to see us go. It was disheartening, especially after how positive the sales experience had been. This spring, the same cabinet issue reappeared. Because of the dealership's lack of accountability and the way we were left feeling after our prior service experience, we chose not to return to Canopy Country and instead went to another authorized service center, who have been much more willing to help. I later wrote a private letter directly to the owner explaining our disappointment and hoping for acknowledgment. I have received no response. I don't enjoy leaving negative reviews, but I think it's important for others to know that our post-sale experience with Canopy Country RV has not reflected the same level of care we felt during the purchase.

Cummins NW in YAKIMA did a great job diagnosing and repairing an intermittent problem that two…read moreother repair shops had missed. Our engine would suddenly start lurching then stalling. We'd kept changing fuel filters thinking it was bad fuel. They determined a software update was needed to our engine computer on our 2004 diesel pusher motorhome, pretty simple but others missed it. They were also very helpful talking to our extended warranty ins company and faxing them the bill to get us reimbursed. their bill was reasonable. FYI Cummins NW in Anchorage had missed the problem and tried charging us $540 for a diagnosis and just a new fuel filter (see my other review). So, I'd definitely use Yakima again but not Anchorage.

Vernon helped me tighten all the bolts, confirmed the fluid levels were safe and suggested that if I was still having problems on the road to look up their location near Yakima. Well, that was great advice, because the gasket was still leaking when we got to Yakima. We called first thing Saturday morning and Ashley answered the phone and got us right in . After about 45 minutes we had a new gasket and no more leak and at a very reasonable price. It's this kind of friendly service and a real desire to help people that makes a business successful.
