Everyone take notice that this company has DISABLED the reviews on their Facebook page. Where do I even start to dismantle this sorry excuse for a rental company. I guess first we should start with the LYING office staff. If they say anything GET IT IN WRITING or they will say they didn't say it. The best way I found to beat them and get them caught up in their lies was to record them with my phone, which is legal in Georgia as long as you are in the conversation. I smoked them in court when they tried their nonsense and outrageous fees they tried to levy for "lease violations". While in the Augusta office I overheard comments to customers including Military family's they were rude to in my presence. The office staff has absolutely no couth and think they are somehow better than their customers. I warn all of you if you fall into their initial nice mask trip, you will regret it. VIDEO the day you see the property and take pictures of every little thing you see. On your final Walk through inspection, VIDEO it or you will regret it. They will say oh everything's fine and then you will get a laundry list of all the "damage" they find after you leave and send you a bill. Don't ever plan on getting anything resolved through the maintenance as it doesn't exist. The people that come after numerous repair requests are unqualified unskilled street walkers evidently. Document every single request you make in writing because they tend to lose or forget about repair requests,,,,,how convenient. They may boast that they are a Family owned business, but they are far from Family oriented and family friendly. Do yourself a favor and NEVER rent from these shysters and warn anyone that mentions their name to check the Better Business Bureaus "F" rating for them. Look at the positive reviews and you will notice many are employees who evidently work maintenance for the company, that must be the reason they can't come repair anything because they are too busy countering the negative reviews to worry about their customers!! I do know that Augusta is a military base town, if there are any Military people reading this, contact whoever you can on that base to BLACKLIST this company!!!! Worst Experience Ever - Stay Away from Auben Reality! I've been renting with Auben Reality for the past 3 years, and I can honestly say this has been the worst landlord experience of my life. From day one, it's been a series of miscommunications, unprofessional behavior, and downright disrespect. I've had nothing but problems with maintenance requests that take forever to be addressed, and when they do get done, it's always half-hearted work that just causes more issues. But the worst part? They've been trying to push me out to raise the rent. Every time my lease is up, they come up with some excuse to increase my rent by ridiculous amounts. I've been here for three years, always paying on time and taking care of the property, but the minute they realize I'm a stable tenant, they start throwing in hidden fees and rent hikes to try and force me out. It's obvious they want to replace long-term tenants with newcomers they can charge more. Customer service is a joke. Whenever I've had issues, they're either unresponsive or downright dismissive. You're treated like a nuisance, not a tenant. And don't even try to get a straight answer from them - it's all smoke and mirrors when it comes to any kind of resolution. If you're looking for a place where you'll be treated with respect and not constantly harassed for rent increases, DO NOT rent from Auben Reality. They don't care about you or your living situation - it's all about maximizing their profits at your expense. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere! read more

From the start, Auben Realty has been great to do business with. I moved here from Houston, TX and had found my house on line. Everything in their online ad was true, only better! The application process was easy and the lease paperwork was thorough. They have been very professional and easy to work with. I have had a few minor issues that have needed attention since moving in and the response to my requests were handled very quickly. Auben Realty has been managing my properties for almost 10 years. Auben is owned and managed by people who are real estate investors. (This means they see everything from my point of view). Auben does EVERYTHING for me! They will even handle the rehabs or updating/upgrades for me. I have found them to have the best integrity and honesty. I can go on long vacations and know that I will have actually MADE money while I was on vacation! Then I can invest in more property if I chose to. I HIGHLY recommend Auben. I currently rent from Auben and I've been here for a while. I don't typically have many problems with them. When I need something I'll call and when I don't need anything I won't call. There was a point in time where the maintenance team was kind of slacking but it's improved drastically. I don't know if it's because of the new workers or because of new management but they aren't mediocre anymore. read more
