A feature that sets Auben apart is a value added bonus that comes from the account managers and the project managers. Annually they look at your portfolio, check performance and suggest ways to improve it. Perhaps renovation to attract higher rents, perhaps a property simply needs to go. All this from experts take the stress from the owner. Project managers like Alex make sure once a repair starts it get finished and to his standard. I have had some lousy management in the past. Auben is a nice change.

We're a military family renting from Auben and move out soon 8/28/26. We're PCSing which is already…read morestressful enough, but originally put the move out date for 8/14/26 and I was courteous to do it over 2 months in advance. Due to not having the official orders yet obviously we would have to adjust the date, but I was trying to give appropriate notice. The property manager marks 7/14/26 and then on the 17th of July I start getting a bunch of messages about me not moving out yet! We resolve the issue but obviously half a day is lost to the stress of that! Then, because they prorated that month I said hey we still owe some and are happy to pay the amount. We have an autopay set up on the 1st and 2nd to not miss payments. Their next administrative error is them not putting a balance on the ledger, so nothing ever charged, but get this we got a final notice today with possibility of eviction. We never even got a first. Got put on hold for the property manager for 40 minutes and she thinks that after all this me just settling the balance will do the trick. Because when I screw up a customers account twice I just tell them I don't think I need to do anything in good faith. We'll see if the manager calls me, I would be happy to revise this review, but I doubt any of this will be made right. I will probably pay the full balance this Friday and then somehow they will need my entire security deposit! I loved the home, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, especially military families the stress they cause is atrocious!

They also don't honor the terms of the lease unless it's something they want from you. I was without a bathroom for 7 months and per the lease they were supposed to adjust my rent for the amount of un-useable space and it was supposed to be retroactive to the date of the loss. Well they never did and when I finally moved out because the whole house quickly turned into a shithole with issue after issue that took forever to resolve so they kept my deposit and charged me extra because I refused to pay the rent the last month. They also won't respond to my attorney so to court we go.

The property had no heat or insulation and the AC was barely functional. I left the apartment cleaner then when I moved in and they are keeping most of my deposit which I definitely feel should be given back due to the infestations of insects. When my property management company, Title One, was taken over by Pure, I had high hopes that the…read morelevel of service offered by Title One would continue. It was just the opposite. They neglected to promptly deal with a tenant's heating issue causing the tenant to be without heat for weeks. I wound up having to refund over $1K in rent because of the delay. Pure did apologize after I complained but talk is cheap.. And the problems continue. I sent them an urgent message on April 28. It was never responded to. That was not a one-off. They take a long time to respond to the simplest of requests. It took them 2.5 months to get me an estimate for misc. repairs to the house and the estimate was ridiculously high. For example, $750 to replace a toilet seat, toilet paper holder and replace a towel rack with hooks. The other items like power washing the house were also way out of line for the market rate for those services. Why would Pure even deal with a contractor like that. I have asked for a new estimate for the critical work. I would ask for the whole job but I don't want to wait another 2.5 months. Can't in good conscience recommend Pure to anyone.
