Very cozy spot with a local feel, right in the center of Morges. The menu is typical of the area, with choices such as steak tartare and hearty meat dishes. We went for the cheese fondue though, and it was excellent. The cheese was smooth and flavorful, with just a hint of liqueur for a little kick. The bread was sliced in large pieces, so you could tear off however much you wanted with each bite. It was a great texture to soak up the cheese.
A small complaint is that it took quite a while for our fondue to be served; at other places I've been, we were served in 10 minutes or so. Also I would have liked to have some potatoes on the side, as well as some of the garnishes, such as pickles and onions. Overall though, I would definitely recommend this spot for the cozy atmosphere, good food, and reasonable prices. read more
