This is Switzerland after all... Service was super fast. I was sitting outside and had my green salad literally less than 2 minutes after I ordered it. The pizza calabrese was very good: Italian style with a very thin crust from a wood-burning oven. I can't complain about their beer or espresso, either. All in all a nice place for a simple dinner.

He visits La Cantina almost every night for dinner so naturally he brought me to La Cantina for my first dinner in Switzerland. This was the only day I was allowed to look at a menu and order for myself and I was not mad about it! Every time we went there for dinner the waiter picked out a fabulous meal for us. There's a regular menu as well as pizzas of the day; in addition, you can create whatever you like based on the ingredients they have at the moment, so there are options galore. You would never guess the pizza came from a food truck, as there's a legit pizza oven built in, which results in a thin, crisp crust. All the toppings I've had so far have been very high quality. And the best part are the prices: pizzas range from 12 to 14 CHF, and are well worth it! Their tiramisu is an excellent option for dessert: perfectly balanced between creamy and spongy, and flavorful without being too sweet. The two owners of the truck are always there and they provide efficient, friendly service. I look forward to the Santoro truck every week!
