We got a wonderful perspective of Austin while getting out pictures taken for unforgettable memories. Leo was charming and entertained us with tidbits of information about life in Austin. Once the tour was done, Leonardo was kind enough to bike us back to this park so we could walk across and get lunch at Terry Black's. I highly recommend this tour!

He was very thorough in explaining what to do and what not to do. We were very fortunate that the other people in our tour group arrived early/on time - we were actually about to get rolling a little early. This company only does a few tours a day, so make sure you reserve in advance before you come. I suggest doing it online. If you are so inclined, you can insure the Segway for an additional $5. I did opt for this because well, you never know. Unfortunately two of the people in my group had a little incident (too close together) and clipped each other's tires and fell off. Fortunately they both walked away from it, so no big deal. These things are safe to use, just follow their directions and keep a good distance from other people - you'll be fine. Greg was very knowledgeable of the city and I had a great time. I was a little apprehensive at first because I figured it might just be a boring tour but he kept it interesting and even told us some cool spots to check out. Overall, it was a great experience and I'd absolutely do it again!

If I had a question or concern he replied in a timely manner. The company was very good about texting updates and sending messages confirming your reservation and everything that you needed to know before hand. Our group had the best time on the boat! We were sad when it ended because we just wanted to keep dancing and partying all day long. It was so much fun to celebrate with other future brides and grooms from all over the country. Everyone was very welcoming! The dj was awesome and so was the photographer. I would love to come back and do this activity again! I would recommend setting up transportation separately to get too and from the lake since we stayed in Austin and it's a 45 min drive. Also, make sure you bring something to eat! We made sandwiches before hand and that helped so much.

I had no idea what to expect, we simply showed up in our Uber ready to party. I enjoyed the dj set up and music they played. There isn't a designated spot to put your belongings, so we just had to trust that other people wouldn't mess with our stuff. Overall it was a good experience and I was thankful their onsite photographer capture some fun and goofy moments from our trip.

Thank you Fair Trade for an amazing adventure!…read more Fair Trade Safaris put together another memorable safari experience for me, my husband, and our friends. We love the national parks we visited in Uganda and Tanzania. Seeing wildlife roam freely always makes my heart feel full. It is such an awe inspiring experience viewing such beauty in our world. The Fair Trade team made sure our travels went smoothly. We were greated in Kigali, Rwanda, and Arusha, Tanzania, by our drivers who took such good care of us. Our personal requests were always granted. I personally appreciated our drivers knowledge of the bird species that caught my eye during our travels. I would highly recommend Fair Trade Safaris. They have lived and worked in many of the countries they include in their safaris. They take great care in fostering a commitment to conservation. They seek to empower the local communities by including cultural experiences in the itinerary. Thank you Saurabh, Diana, and team, for taking such good care of us! Stephanie Seay

We were drawn to Fair Trade Safaris based on their commitment to African animal conservation and to the local communities. We chose Tanzania in order to see the Great Migration in June and July. Our family of four (two teenagers) first visited Tarangire National Park, a gem with beautiful baobab trees and animals left and right. Elephants were especially prolific. Next was the Ngorongoro Crater which is an absolute necessity in any Tanzanian itinerary. The landscape was stunning and the animals were mesmerizing. The Ngorongoro Farm House was among our favorite stays with delicious food and inviting accommodations. We then visited Serengeti National Park and stayed in the Kati Kati tented camp which was so authentic and the people were so nice and engaging. The food was tasty and we enjoyed "glamping" with giraffes and zebras right outside our tents. Finally, we visited western Serengeti and saw the Great Migration. It was so moving and unbelievable, there were even some tears shed! It's exactly as you see it on National Geographic. Josephat, our fabulous guide, was several notches above other guides. He spotted animals in trees far away that we couldn't see without binoculars. He even had to show other tour guides where animals were hiding on many occasions. One day he talked with other tour guides that were searching for a group of cheetahs seen earlier in the day by other guides. He used his knowledge of their behavior and searched in a few remote spots and found the group of five cheetahs. We met other tourists at the hotel that night that asked if we ever found the cheetahs and we replied in the affirmative. They were disappointed because their tour guide never found them. Thank you to Dianah and Saurabh for helping us with our itinerary and logistics. We had a wonderful time and hope to visit Africa again. Sincerely, Eric, Gwen, Jenna and Caroline Peterson

Booking a tour with Brina ended up being one of the best decisions we made! She is incredibly knowledgeable, makes safety a priority, and somehow keeps the entire experience relaxed, fun, and encouraging. She took the time to build our confidence, explain techniques in a way that actually made sense, and before we knew it, we were riding trails we never thought we'd feel comfortable on. By the end of the tour, we finally felt like we belonged on a mountain bike instead of just trying to survive one! After the ride, Brina went above and beyond by sharing recommendations for local hangout spots, restaurants, and events happening around Austin, which made us feel even more excited about our new city. We had an absolute blast and are already looking forward to booking a more challenging tour with her. If you're visiting Austin or even if you're a local wanting to improve your skills while having an amazing time, this is an experience you don't want to miss. Highly recommend!

The reservation before us was late and instead of cutting into their time, it pushed our reservation back. Originally we were told we were only going to get pushed back a half an hour and then when we got to the pick up spot at 2:30 we were contacted and told it would be closer to 3:00 and then a little bit after 3 o'clock we were told the bus was on its way, but were not given a timeframe. The bus pulled up about 3:30 but the bus driver had to clean up and restock and give us the rundown of how the afternoon would work and we didn't leave until closer to 4:00. Tour itself was fun; open air bus, music, sightseeing. We were only on the bus for an hour and a half instead of what should've been a two hour excursion. Once we were off the tour, we contacted the company to ask what they could do for us for the time inconvenience (late and shortened tour); either refund some of the cost or they to pay the mandatory tip to the driver instead of us coming out of pocket more. WHILE WE WERE STILL STANDING ON THE SIDEWALK NEXT TO THE BUS the company calls the driver and tells her we weren't impressed with her service and that we weren't tipping her. When she asked us about it we told her the truth about the phone call and how we asked for the company to either refund us some of the cost or have them pay her tip for the inconvenience. We've been home for a week and the company has failed to contact us back. Horrible business management. Book a tour at your own risk.
