I received my helicopter private pilots license thru Helicopter Experts. I would encourage anyone interested in flight training in rotorcraft to stop in and take a class or an introduction flight. The process of learning to fly a helicopter is one of the most challenging and rewarding processes you will ever experience. It does require the student to work hard and study. It also requires flight hours to achieve your goals. All you have to do is read Mike Bisek's nonsensical retort to witness his haphazard damage control in action. My review of Helicopter Experts is comprised of my personal experience with the company. Without regard for what Mike Bisek thinks of my credentials and my 28 years in the industry, I can assure you that it's NOT normal for a flight school owner to retain a student's surplus, unused flight training funds. I've never entered into any "website agreement" with Mike Bisek authorizing him to simply keep my unused flight training funds. Ask yourself if ANY of what Mike is asserting, petty attacks included, makes any sense. Then ask yourself if Helicopter Experts still has YOUR unused money on account should you decide to continue your training elsewhere (don't be fooled, Mike CAN'T keep your surplus flight training funds unless you've given him express written permission). After ducking & dodging my emails and messages for weeks, I threatened to sue Mike to recover my unused monies. Mike finally stuck his head up from cover in an effort at avoiding suit and claimed that he could only make minimal payments to me until I was repaid in full. Is there a possibility he has used up the flight training money you've entrusted to him too? Ask him for yourself. To misappropriate a student's flight training funds via promises of block rate discounts ostensibly constitutes fraud in the State of Texas.
