I shop with Atwood's because I'd rather spend my money with a local chain vs Walmart or any large monopoly. I am normally happy with your store until I bought peanuts (family choice ) and as I was eating them I spun the can around and was surprised to see "Bioengineered food " . Maybe its my fault for having expectation too high. I would bet there are many more like myself who would pay more to be able to have a trusted source we could shop at who isn't supporting the destruction of wholesome foods. If your selling it your supporting it. If your buying it ,your supporting it . I was asked to apply for a Atwood's credit card 12/12/2024. The lady said I would get a 75.00 credit off my first purchase over $75.00. received my first billing statement and there is no credit. I called the Greenville store and asked about the credit. The lady said that the sales person should have given me credit at the point of sale. I called the credit card company they said they would investigate. Atwood's should train their employees better. I have had this problem before at Atwood's with untrained employees. read more

Was going to shop the Greenville store regularly but found them raising the prices to run a sale price that when added up comes to the same price as before this was on a gun safe. Then I went in to buy a trailer hitch. When I got to the register the checker said that the price marked on the box was wrong and tried to add an extra $15 to the price. I refused and ended up calling the manager who promised to check into it and call me back.........never got the call. read more

Do not shop Atwood's Greenville for anything intended for human consumption!!! I arrived just as they opened. The amount of rat droppings was highly disturbing Literally mounds of It being swept up from all areas of the store, particularly under the popcorn machine and in the feed area. The employee in the feed area was taping up feed bags that had been chewed open by rats. Yep, they were still for sale! When I asked the cashier about the infestation, she said " oh, it's better now, it was much worse!" Atwoods Greenville is rodent infested Stay clear of this health hazard. read more

I have shopped at this store for over a year. I drive 45 minutes one way to support this store. They've always been good at having a variety of things and appreciative of the military and showing that appreciation by giving a military discount. Then out of the blue they stopped giving this discount. I sent an email about this and they didn't even care enough to respond to my email. It's very clear that they don't appreciate my business or our military. Now I'll shop closer to home. You've lost a customer. Such a shame that customer service doesn't matter to companies anymore. read more

Big farm and ranch store with real working pick up trucks (diesel one tons) in the parking lot. They've got a Stihl chainsaw department that has good stock and reasonable service rates. Strikes me as a cross between Tractor Supply, Walmart, and the local feed store. The result is better that you might expect. read more

CROOKS! That's how I'd like to start this review. I brought a Stihl trimmer I had bought from this store to replace a starter button and gas cap since they had both cracked, which is shocking for how much I paid for it. I had waited for a month since they said parts were back ordered. I finally called and told them I was picking it up and would pick up parts when they came in since it would take less than a minute to install the button and cap. I arrived and they said it was fixed and complete but when I inspected it the gas cap was still broken and the trimmer was filthy and had cobwebs. I was told they would charge me for parts and labor and told them I hoped they were joking since the only thing that was done was insert a button which would have taken 1 second, 2 seconds at the most. They credited me the gas cap after cashier saw it was truly broken and not fixed like James had left in his notes. Avoid this place at all costs. You have Home Depot, Lowe's and Tractor Supply within a 5 minute drive from this Atwoods location, go there instead. read more

Friendly staff to help you find flashlights and equine meds. Hot popcorn free at the front of the store, that I wolfed down while finding the flashlights. Minus one star for being out of stall bedding and having to go to Tractor Supply for pine shavings. read more

Its a lovely farm store. You can get anything from boots to a flashlight to hog rings to a car jack. Staff is helpful if not always 100% knowledgable. read more

When Atwoods came to town I didn't like the fact this chain store drove little mom & pop feed stores into retirement. But now I buy most of my horse feed and equine meds here because it is almost always cheaper than Tractor Supply for the same items. The latter will match prices, so the difference is friendly staff and quick responses to loading my truck. read more

Decent store, but the store smells like a dirty litter box and is not clean. We normally go to the Sulphur Springs location and it's night and day different. We will skip this location in the future. Disappointed. read more
