I called with a problem and the owner actually just gave me advice on how to fix my existing fan. He even called back with additional device. Next time I DO need a fan... I'll go here first. I am very impressed. If you want to cool your house off at night for cheap... these attic fans are the best way to go!!! And this company is A1. read more

They replaced my attic fan and charged a fair price. Highly recommend! Also, they fit me in quickly because my old fan was making an awful noise. read more

Owner was very friendly and helpful. Called about a problem and he told me it was probably just the switch. He said he would be happy to come out but it would cost more than me just buying a switch and installing it myself. I did and it worked just fine. Great service and helpful. read more

AtticFan installed my fan back in 2017. We use this fan nearly every day and have never had a problem for 8 years. The other day we heard a loud sound and the fan stopped working. I called atticfan.com and they immediately found my account and instead of trying to sell me a service call and expensive parts, they walked me through how to fix my fan (the belt was broken). With their guidance, I repaired the problem for $17 and had everything completed in less than 30 minutes (this included my trip to Ace to get the belt). It's nice to know that there true professionals around who truly look to take care of the customer instead of taking advantage of the customer. Thank you Atticfan for your integrity. read more

I wish to write a high recommendation for atticfan. I knew nothing about big attic fans when we moved to Colorado (and not from California) but our neighbor next door Dean and Brittany were raving about theirs so I thought I'd check it out. Seymour, at atticfan, presents really well-- their business plan, their sources for the fans themselves, the years of experience his installers have with him, and their quite fair and excellent warranties and price. He clearly cares--and gives great service. He delivered everything he said. Our installer Enrique was on time, an excellent communicator, and clearly experienced and skilled. From the moment he arrived to the moment he finished was about 3 hours, the installation went smoothly and Enrique cleaned up completely. He gave me a great run down on utilization of the fan and facts to know. The big promise, the biggest motivation for us; That used effectively it will actually reduce the need for HVAC, therefore reducing utility bills, has proven completely true. With a little bit of work on open windows during cooler times, and use of the fan, we've reduced HVAC use significantly. Again, from beginning to end --I wish all the work over the years I have hired to have done to various areas of my house we're as together and organized and efficient and communicative as atticfans. And I would hire Enrique back anytime for any work he says he can do. I am conveying my highest praise for their products and their work. I Highly highly recommend them. Jimmy Cioe read more

I am very happy with the whole house fan! Enrique was highly professional and did an excellent job installing the whole house fan. After installation Enrique took time to explain how to use the fan properly and how to maintain it. I was referred to AtticFac.com from a friend who had a whole house fan installed. I am very pleased with the entire process and would highly recommend AtticFan.com! read more

Not long after my wife and I bought our Denver Square, we knew right away that we needed help cooling it in the summer. We got a recommendation to call Seymour and he came to the rescue. It was fast, very fairly priced, and now twenty years later maybe the best project we ever did on our house! We have recommended AtticFan.com to our friends with confidence. Many years later, I thought the fan had reached the end of a very good life and Seymour answered my phone call, actually discouraging me from replacing it! In a few minutes he gave me a few quick items to check and adjust. Back in working order and ready for another hot summer (and many more)! I wish I could give more than 5 stars! read more

Had a whole house attic fan installed eight years ago... it's done wonders for my electric bill in the summer cutting it, by my estimate, at least 2/3... there are many summer days when the air-conditioner in the house doesn't go on at all... Typically on the warmest days, the air-conditioner won't go on until later in the afternoon. It's been working perfectly and has not required any servicing to this point... And I understand it may be many years before that is the case... Using this fan properly requires opening windows at night when the temperature is lower outside than it is inside the house. And closing the windows and shutting off the fan in the morning before it warms up outside ... I talked to energy savings consultants, not one of them bought up a whole house attic fan. That's shocking, because use of this fan saves me far more money and energy than all the other changes I've made in the house combined. read more

I just spoke to the " customer service" person at AtticFan.com and requested a quote.. A first he was very polite and offered to give me a fast , easy quote with just a few questions answered. I agreed and during the process I was quoted 2,000 dollars for the 30" fan based on my Home SF. Ok, I wondered.. the fan on the website is listed at 1,800 dollars so I had to interrupt and ask about the discrepancy. "Our prices went up earlier this year", he said which I could completely agree with considering the price of everything these days. I then asked " Well, you might think that you should update your website? It is a bit misleading and I'm sure it would be pretty easy to change it" Instantly I get this reply "Maybe our company isn't right for you, and you should take your 'F'in' business elsewhere"... He stated followed by promptly hanging up the phone on me. What a fantastic customer service rep that has someone ready to write a check and now would never do business with this company again. Thumb Up! read more

Atticfan.com was one of the few companies who returned my husband's initial call. The phone consultation was complete and the estimate was accurate. Eric arrived within the install window and did a great job putting the fan exactly where we had wanted it. Very neat and clean, great workmanship. It took exactly as long as he said it would and the price was exactly what was quoted. Our house is much cooler even on extremely hot days and our electricity use is lower too. Win/win. We should have had a whole house fan installed sooner. read more

We used Atticfan.com to install our attic fan in July 2012 and the fan has been working amazing for 10 years! It has been the best improvement we ever made to our house and saved us a ton of money in air conditioning. We barely use AC ever since we had the fan installed 10 years ago. The belt just broke and I called attic fan.com to ask if they did repairs. Seymour let me know it's an easy repair to do ourself if we are somewhat handy. All we have to do is take the old fan belt to Ace Hardware to get the same size. Seymour said if we have any trouble installing it, just give him a call and he will walk us through the install process. That is amazing customer service in my book plus the product they sell and installation has been fabulous! I'd highly recommend this company for attic fan installation! read more

My attic fan went out and the team at AtticFan.com helped me out a lot. On my first call, they helped me diagnose the problem to see if I could DIY fix for cheaper but when it turned out that wouldn't work, they came out and replaced my attic fan. Unfortunately, one of the wires in the new switch they added messed up the connection to my bathroom lights, but they came out the next day to inspect. When that didn't work, they allowed me to call an electrician and refunded me the cost of the electrician. Honestly, I feel the judgement of good people and a good company come from moments of adversity like this and they handled it in a very professional manner. read more

Don't Let These Clowns In Your Home. Seymour is a complete joke. I am better off just opening my windows at night. I understand how whole house attics work having two in previous homes. Interestingly, owner could not comprehend my cc number. He left a voicemail saying that it did not work. I returned his call, telling him to call me back and I would give it to him. Nothing. Then the next day, I had a note pasted to my front door, telling me to call him. Finally, Enrique called and can you believe it? It was the correct number after all. Wow! I told Enrique that I was unhappy with the install and to have Seymour call me about it. Crickets Bottom line, Whole House Fan is incredibly noisy and does not cool the home to minimal expectations. Also, slats have 0 insultation, so should work great in January. Bush league at best! read more

Great experience with Atticfan.com. They were on time and diagnosed the problem quickly. It was repaired at the price promised. Highly recommend them. Good folks to work with. read more

I do not recommend them: - Contractors do the work - not the owner. (an issue if work was not done properly) - Contractors are difficult to communicate with. - Web beams in attic need to be cut (not explained in advance!) - Floor beams need to be cut and new framing installed. (not explained in advance) - Contradiction between contractors and owner on additional venting. - Contrary to their site, fans should not be run in hot weather - only cool AM and PM hours. - Web and floor beam cutting could lead to code violation. (only explained to me after persistent questions) Overall, a very unprofessional outfit, beat up dirty contractor trucks with testy installers who dislike questions. With work of this magnitude, a manager or owner should inspect the home, clearly explain all options including placement of fan, attic vents etc and explain all the cutting requirements and possible code violations and how to deal with it. Instead you're told to go on their site, and read?!.... read more

Just a word of warning to everyone. These guys put in an attic fan for me back in 1999. I am trying to sell my house and it turns out, they cut a truss to install the fan without telling me or asking permission so please make sure you ask them if any things in the attic needs to be cut. This is costing me now that I am trying to sell my house because it is a structural integrity issue and you have to pay engineers, etc. to fix it. Just ask before you approve the work. read more

Talked with the owner, Seymour today regarding tuning and possible replacement of my whole house attic fan. AMAZING customer service! If you are looking for a knowledgeable, honest and detailed company - this is it!! This is who I will use when the replacement of my fan is needed! I will also refer this company!! Thank you Seymour!! read more

Had a 2.5 hour window to show up. Showed up late. What a waste of my time. I did not give them the opportunity to take my money.

Fantastic service, start to finish. Seymore walked me through the pricing over the phone and I scheduled an appointment to have an attic fan installed a couple weeks later. Enrique arrived on time, wearing a mask and walked us through the process of installing the fan and eventually it's operation. He laid tarps where he was working and picked up and vacuumed when he was done. Enrique was exceptionally friendly and went out of his way to walk us though the science of how the fans cool the home. Highly recommend Enrique and atticfan.com when you are considering a whole house fan. read more

These guys were great to do business with. Cost estimator on the website gives you a perfect idea of what you're going to pay before you even call. When Enrique came, he did a great job and was very friendly and helpful. His detailed explanation of what he was going to do set the stage. Then he explained what he did and how best to operate the fan after he was done. He finished early and the job came in slightly less than the estimate. Wish it was this easy to do business with all businesses. read more

Awesome experience! Great exploratory conversation on the phone. Accurate estimate, very clear plan of action. To accommodate our schedules, Enrique came on a Sunday! (Who does that!) He arrived promptly at 7:30a.m. Talked us thru options. Did installation that day. Soup-to-nuts, including clean-up and advice & demonstration about how to get the most our of our Fan. In addition to the practicality of the whole thing, even my kids were raving about how fast they installed it and how wonderful a cool breeze is at bedtime. The fan itself is wonderful as well. Way better than they one I remember from my childhood home which was effective, but very loud. The fans they are installing look great, operate very quietly and come with a pretty slick timer-switch. If I could give this company, and especially Enrique, more than 5* I would! read more

Seymore's customer service is second to none. He installed my whole house fan in 2004. Anytime I have a question about my fan he is always there to answer my questions. read more

Love it! We made an appointment but we're also on a cancellation list. Someone ended up canceling the next day and they came to give us an estimate. Their price was the lowest we could find, so a couple hours later, we had our whole house fan installed. It works amazing! We hardly use our AC and can't remember how we lived before it read more

Seymour and his crew did a great job. I was considering installing an attic fan myself and then spoke to Seymour. He was glad to sell me just the fan but also informed me how many times they are called after DIY to fix it. He explained the whole process, gave me an estimate over the phone and Michael come out two days later. The estimate was accurate, installation took about 4 hours. Michael was professional and courteous, explained the difference in fan sizes and after reviewing the attic space suggested the best spot in the house. Out great room and bedroom on the upper level easily are 10 to 15 degrees warmer on hot days. Usually AC is required to get it cool. We have has 3 hot days since it was installed and it does an excellent job of cooling things down. I would highly recommend having a whole house fan installed by atticfan.com read more

You won't find a better guy than Seymour and you won't find a better company than Atticfan.com. Their work is excelent and their prices more than fair. Their attitude is professional and full of good vibes. Go Atticfan.com! (from Jimmy in Lafayette, Colorado) read more

I've had an attic fan in my house since 2006 and everything from that point changed: my electrical bills plummeted, my whole house (including the stuffy upstairs that air conditioners refuse to cool) was full of fresh cool air, and I vowed never to live in a house without an attic fan again. And the people at AtticFan are great - prompt and friendly and efficient. Everyone in Colorado should throw out their inefficient and expensive air conditioners (not to mention the impact on the planet), and get an attic fan. You'll never go back! read more

I love my attic fan. Seymour and Enrique were great to work with. They both took the time to explain things and give me an accurate estimate. Since I have an older house with lathe and plaster it was a trickier install. The work was done efficiently and professionally and it came out great. It's amazing how well and quickly my house cools down and with very little added monthly expense. It's wonderful to feel the natural cool breeze refresh the house. An added benefit that I didn't think about is the way it can quickly remove any unwanted kitchen or bathroom air. For Colorado weather it's the way to go. The company is professional, honest and knowledgeable. They do great work. read more

Booked with Seymour on the phone after a long conversation about my options for an attic fan. He told me Enrique would be here from 8-9am today. I was a little annoyed that he gave me a time frame in lieu of just an actual start time. Enrique did show up at 8am promptly. He came in and I asked him to take his shoes off because 1) its a rule in my house and 2) I just put new carpet in. He replied "I cannot do that Sir because I will be getting in and out of the attic" - I said OK, if you can't respect the rules of my house, then you can leave. So he did. Why these people don't have the slip on booties that go over their boots, I don't know. Why he wouldn't take off his boots in the house and then put them back on once getting up on the ladder to get into the attic, I don't know. The previous comments are true - hard to understand, contractor, not an employee, old beat up van .... no thanks. Bye! read more

Could not recommend this company more. Phoned and talked to Seymour on Tuesday morning - He was knowledgeable, up front, and gave advice on what type of Whole House Fan to use. Scheduled an appointment for the next day. Enrique showed up right on time, and helped me in choosing the correct size fan for my home, amount of venting. 3.5 hours later, my fan was installed, and its perfect. It runs smoothly and quietly, Enrique cleaned everything, and was incredibly courteous and professional. If you want to take the guesswork out of whether or not you should buy one of these fans, in Colorado... DO IT. In one day... I can tell the difference in the house. A+++ If I move, I won't wait 10 years like i did for this one... read more

We love our attic fan! Atticfan.com installed in our new house 19+ years ago. We couldn't live without the attic fan; we turn it on in the morning to pull the cool air into the house and find that the a/c doesn't come on until mid-afternoon, even on the hottest of hot days. We then turn it on in the evenings to pull more cool air into the house. Our a/c runs at most 4 hours per day with the thermostat set at 73. We have found the attic fan to be incredibly cost effective. Couldn't live without it!! read more
