Living at this rental was a constant headache. The owner is way too involved and intrusive. Walk-throughs were unprofessional, unorganized, and done so frequently that it never really felt like my home. Instead of feeling supported, I felt monitored. On top of that, the expectations were unrealistic. The owner seemed to think the property should remain in perfect, untouched condition despite normal living. Communication was always tense and there was zero flexibility or understanding from the owner. Owners request were ridiculous, from not wanting tenants to recycle and since owner did all maintenance repairers they were done unprofessional, on one occasion while completing a maintenance owner sat on my coach multiple times. To make things worse, when move-out time came, the process was stressful and unfair. They nitpicked every tiny detail and used it as an excuse to keep part of my deposit. Overall, I wouldn't recommend renting here unless you enjoy constant stress, ridiculous requests, and an owner who refuses to let tenants have any sense of privacy or comfort. There are much better-managed properties out there. read more

I applied for a rental property that this company manages; unfortunately, it was a dreadful process. Communication was horrible. There were ZERO updates from them, emails were not responded to, and when we did get a response from Holly or Jarett, after having to follow up ourselves, it was inconsiderate and uninformative. We've rented multiple properties in the past. We have never had to wait more than 48hrs maximum to hear the results of our application. This process took 10 days. We get that each company has its own way of doing things. It's also understandable that multiple applications require more time to process, however, I highly recommend that whoever runs this company implements a proper follow-up system to improve client communication. The market is crazy right now in San Diego and these are people's livelihoods. It would be great if they were proactive about setting expectations on processing times, where you stand in the application process, and whether or not you were approved for the property as a common courtesy for their potential renters. read more

Where do I start with laziness of these management companies ?? I actually own several 32 unit properties myself here in Socal, and was just looking for something for my daughter in law. Decided I'll try zillow and message. Talking about the wild wild west on zillow, 70% of the listings scammers, and the other 20% lazy and I mean dirt lazy realtors/property managers. They have no real interest in showing properties. I feel sorry for the people who actually own these properties and use these cowardly lazy people who can't even do there job. J - O - B - Anyways, for those looking for service from this clown company, I would just look somewhere else. This posting is current, its October 24th, 2022. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY TO LIST YOUR PROPERTIES, your better off listing yourself and using a top notch realtor that is hungry and has at least 20 plus reviews or more and CURRENT. And actually just call them and text and see how they communicate, because if there fast talkers or can't really listen, then imagine how they are with potential renters. Forget about hiring this so called management business, to rent your property. My neighbors called me to tell me dozens of potential new renters had come by my condo, and were not able to see inside or get a hold of this management company! My condo has been sitting vacant for 2 months! I had my niece call as a potential renter and Jarett Attard never even bothered to return her calls. He then sent a text to communicate that he could not show condo today or tomorrow; and could not specify a date or time when he could. We have used this management company for our condo in Sabre Springs for over 20 years. That have been consistently attentive and professional in all of our interactions. I think in this entire time, the condo has been empty for two momths tops. They also have an amazing range of contractors that they work with who are highly skilled and reliable. We went in for a home tour at 4108 Via Del Rey with an associate named Jarret Attard. Upon arriving the home looked great, no complaints. During the tour, Jarret could not confirm what utilities were included in the rent, nor could he quote us the correct amount for the monthly rent. Despite the pricing discrepancies, we decided to apply. Jarret initially told us that the rent was $4000, but when we received our application it said $3995. Not a big issue for us, $5 difference doesn't matter. After submitting our application the company goes no-contact with us & refuses to answer texts, calls, and emails. We call the office & they hang up in our face. As days go by with no contact, we finally reach out to the "emergency" line to get another associate we believe to be Yvonne (she never confirmed her name or formally introduced herself, don't quote me on the name). Yvonne promised us that we would have answers ASAP, by the end of the day, I'll update you shortly, but of course no answers, no updates, nothing. We got our credit check after a few days of no contact, we decided to move forward & the credit check quotes the rent at $3795! So three different rental prices & we could not confirm what price we would be paying. We call the office to clarify the 3rd price discrepancy & of course the phone picks up & falls back down. Overall, very poor property management company, very poor communication & very poor professionalism. Every day the property remains vacant, the owner is at a loss. If this company stepped up & tried to do the job they signed up for, that house would have a tenant in no time. If you're a home owner looking to rent, go with a company that has excellent communication skills, & can manage more than one contact at one time. read more
