Philadelphia Subs - Footlong Chili, Cheese, Mustard, & Sauteed Peppers & Onions

The chili, mustard, sauteed peppers and onions. When we go hot doggin' we do not rate the dog, we celebrate the dog with those great toppings. How was it you ask? This was absolutely delicious. You may, I didn't think a sub joint could pull off a great tasting dog. And as always, I washed it down with a coke. Now I have to say that they serve some great tasting chili sauce. So, on that note I hope you enjoy both parts of the video today here at Philadelphia Subs. Now in Part 2 of the videos I am reviewing the Italian Sub. Now I only changed a couple of things on the way it normally comes. I am even back in the same spot, I flipped the hot peppers for sweet peppers and mayo no dressing, I hate those soggy sandwiches. The sub was packed with meat and the cheese, not to mention the lettuce, tomatoes and onions. Philly Subs puts together a delicious sub as well as the footlong hot dogs. Guys and Gals, if you have not ever been here or it's been a while you got to come back. I don't know their hours; I think they are closed on Sundays? Ok everyone until I see you again in our next video be blessed and stay safe. Definitely one of the better brunch options in NEPA, with fun, quirky, eclectic decor…read more They do NOT take reservations and it can get busy, but we waited 5-10 minutes for a table for 2 on a recent busy holiday Friday around 1p. The extensive menu features a variety of brunch options, salads, and sandwiches. Their veggie options are a bit limited, but definitely present (ex: falafel salad, avocado toast), and many of the dishes feature unique combinations and homemade sauces/aiolis. I landed on the Smoked Salmon Avocado toast, which was fine. I was disappointed that it seemed to be made with prepackaged guacamole/avocado (I'm sure for cost reasons), and the bread was pretty thick so it was challenging to eat. Flavor-wise, it was solid, but I think I'll try one of the other, more creative options next time. My cousin chose their turkey sandwich and seemed to enjoy. It was large enough that she took half home! Our food arrived before our matcha lattes, so we wound up asking for to-go cups. The matcha itself was delicious, though sweeter than we anticipated (in retrospect, we should have realized that a "white chocolate lavender matcha macchiato" would be pretty sweet!).

I googled "breakfast" and this place was closest......I looked at the pictures posted online and decided to give it a try. For one, if you don't know where your going - like me - then this place is going to be hard to find (like it was for me). I'm driving around in the parking lot swearing at my navigation because it was telling me I was there but I can't see a darn restaurant. I get out the car, walk around a bit and see the artwork on the side of the building. Kooky place! It's inside of some type of co-opt building? Best way to describe it from an outsider's viewpoint. I ask for single seating NOT at the bar and they easily accommodated me. Wasn't super busy but it was nicely packed. The girl up front gave me TWO drink menus and their special menu.... When I first sat down and took a look, my initial thought was, "eff this place. It's ridiculous". The waitress explained that I was inadvertently given two drink menus but I should have been given an actual menu. She rectified the situation. I took a look at the ACTUAL menu and thought, "eff this place". All I wanted was a traditional AMERICAN breakfast. Pancakes, omelettes, hash brown and all I read is a bunch of fru-fru nonsense. I head to the bathroom thinking about how much of a friggin redneck I've become while laughing at the thought. So I order the breakfast bowl option because it seemed close to something I would have ordered at a regular diner. I gotta say.... great job! The beer cheese adds a phenomenal flavor profile and the portion was MORE than fair! I added sausage AND bacon (with an upcharge) but it was worth it. This place AIN'T for me....but if you're looking for something unique and a bit different, it could be for you. This is the type of place I'd bring a chic if I was trying to convince her I was cool and hip. Let's face it, though.... there's not a restaurant in American that can convince anyone I'm cool and hip... lmao give this place a try!

This was served on toasted rye bread, thousand Island dressing, Swiss cheese, and loaded with corn beef. This comes with a side of fries, which I may say are fresh cut fries and you get a signature "Goldstein Deli" pickle. This was a very delicious Reuben, everything on this sandwich complimented each other. The bread had a perfect toast to it. Now a little about the service here, very professional, very welcoming from the time I walked into the door to the time I left. I ordered a Bloody Mary, but nobody knew how to make one, so I canceled it. The bathrooms were stinky and full of flies, with a fly trap sitting on the sink. The counter looked like it had been wiped down with a dirty rag. Our omelets came out greasy, my wife's bacon was forgotten, and my utensil roll had no fork. My bacon, avocado, spinach, and tomato omelet had rock-hard avocado slices and undercooked bacon mixed with bacon bits. Potatoes were just okay but came with no condiments. I barely ate a few bites before I was too grossed out to continue. When I told the server, she just said, "I'll let them know," and still handed me the full check -- no apology or discount. We left cash and got out. Will never be back. Avoid at all costs.
