Arrived at 2ish with a teenager who insisted on a nose piercing on Friday the 13th. Was quoted an hour wait in a back alley. No biggie. An hour and a half in the bitter cold alley later and line hadn't moved. Paid $10 for a notary waiver for a minor child and never got that, or my time back. Not one person in line moved so we eventually left. One very positive thing that came out of this was I met an awesome dude at Monique's about 20 minutes away who was an expert piercer with small a wait time and he took less than five minutes with his professionalism and skill to complete this simple ask. Went in for a quote on a tattoo, which the guy wasn't even sure if he could make it and when I showed him the design he was stumped and said it would be $300. Went to a local shop and they did the same design, larger size for $140. Stay away from these tattoo chain stores. read more

Worst tattoo shop I have been to, and I have 17 tattoos. The tattoo looks nothing like the picture, and Will, the artist couldn't keep the color within lines. He tattooed me so deeply and haphazardly he left deep wounds that have now scarred and I'm starting my third course of antibiotics. All they say they will do is add color (couldn't do that right the first time), and they will not refund tattoos, even if they look like sheet and make 14 mistakes like Will did. He was unprofessional and never called me back when I had concerns a few days after the tattoos. NEVER go to this place, they treat veterans like sheet and don't care if they cause a scar or that u had to go to the ER on the weekend to start antibiotics. No freaks given. Yikes! Don't go to this place for piercings or jewelry. They sold me what they claimed was surgical steel, but after having it in for a day my nose was swollen and I had a rash. So I swapped it out myself with a real surgical steel gold piece. Called and tried to ask for a simple exchange because I thought the gold plating could've been tarnished maybe? Idk. But was met with a firm no exchange, instead they asked if I wanted to BUY another one for $25? Eek! Not taking that risk. Not to mention, when I went in to get the jewelry I had the homeboy piercer dude swap it out with my old one and I've never had someone be so rough with my piercing. I also don't think he sterilized the piercing site or the new jewelry.. I genuinely don't know if he knew what he was doing. We went in to see about a tattoo coverup for my husband and the artist we spoke to was super friendly. My husband told him what he was looking for and he seemed more then happy to accommodate, but we just needed to figure out some scheduling issues. When we left my husband was really excited to finally have found an artist to do the work on his coverup. My husband emailed the artist with pictures and didn't hear back for 4 days and then emailed again. Once he did get an email it was short, but the artist did still seem enthusiastic about getting the job done. When my husband found out his schedule he emailed him once again and never heard back. He called the shop and left a message with the guy at the front for the artist to call him back, but never received a phone call back. Waited a few days, called again, still no response. They seem like they do good work because my husband knew someone who had a piece done there, but my question is where is the professionalism with customer service? If you don't want out money, there are plenty of other shops in the area that would be happy to except it. Customer service is just not there and it was really disappointing. read more

This is easily the worst place to get your ears pierced in all of pinellas county, they use the cheapest smallest earrings that screw on in the front, I have been trying for the past two hours to get my fucking cartilage piercing out and my ear is now bleeding and the earring is still in it. They also don't give u a solution for your piercings you either have to make your own or buy theirs separate for like $6. That's complete bullshit because i spent over $100 on 3 piercings and they don't even provide a solution, fucking claire's does. I took my daughter here to have her ears pierced for her 10th birthday. We walked in on a weekday evening without an appointment or calling ahead, so I was prepared to be put off or wait. I have never been to a tattoo place in my life, so I was a little intimidated (though I didn't let it show to my already nervous and excited daughter). I needn't have worried. At first, the woman who greeted us said the person who works with kids wasn't there, she kindly checked with a young man who agreed to do the piercing. As soon as he heard it was for her birthday, he said he would. He was patient, professional and careful. As soon as he saw how well my daughter was taking it, he relaxed visibly (it was kind of cute to see this young man, also a dad, show so much concern for my daughter's comfort). He even told her she did better than most adults. Lol. My child walked out proud and smiling. She is now healed from the piercing and doing great.
