My bestie & I came in on a Saturday afternoon to the St. Pete location as walk-ins for a small angel line tattoo. The receptionist was great. We were introduced to our artist, Andy Parker. He walked us through the process and was very patient and accommodating, helping us with size recommendation and placement, changes to placement if we wanted to see it at a different angle, etc. and then he went to work and it was a breeze! The manager and assistant manager and head of HR wasn't present (I am suspicious that it's all the same guy) but at least there were pictures of him...even in the restroom (iykyk). I went to Foolish pride for my first tattoo, a 2 inch line on my wrist. Walked in around 5 on a Saturday and they were able to schedule me an hour later (there were A LOT of people who walked in after me so I don't think getting in as a walk-in on a Saturday is very likely!) The entire experience was flawless. The artist Explained every step of the process, the shop was very clean, and the receptionist was so helpful. It was an excellent first experience. I also appreciated that the artist asked a ton of questions about why I was getting a tattoo and the reasons behind it, to ensure I was doing the right thing. The boo and I decided to get matching tattoos for my birthday while down in Clearwater and my best friend was ready to get her first tattoo so I wanted to find a good place for us. After a google and Yelp search and reading many reviews, I decided on Foolish Pride 2 and Victor because his line work looked the best for what we wanted to get. I actually hit up Victor on his IG the day before (which was a Monday, so they were closed) and he actually responded! He was super friendly, explained all the policies behind booking an appointment, pricing and walk- in clients. I sent him a photo of what we were looking to get and he gave me a very reasonable price range for what he could see online. When we got to the shop, it's not like a normal tattoo shop that I've been used to with drawings all over the walls and large pictures where you can 'pick what you want' from a collection of tattoos. The receptionist was sweet and greeted us with a smile and it was almost like Victor was expecting us. He was very meticulous and definitely not heavy handed. He offered his professional opinion for the tattoos and still followed our requests. He lightened the mood by holding good convos with us during the processes and although this wasn't my first, he still took time to explain aftercare. My best friend got ger first tattoo and Victor made it especially easy on her. He gave her all the good and bad info about getting a tattoo and took very good care with her during the process. Right off the bat the shop is warm, charming and most importantly ~immaculately clean~! They are requiring masks in studio (as they should) and cleaned all the common areas numerous times while I was there. My artist Morgan L. was an absolute PLEASURE to be tattood by as she's gentle, welcoming, punctual and remarkably talented. When you call to make an appointment over the phone they will tell you it's better off just to come in person for walk in (first come, first serve) Then when you show up the ladies behind the desk (the main female receptionist, same voice who answered the phone) Will tell you it's better to make appointments and everyone is book due to there only being 2 artist who seem to be there at all times. (On the 6-8 times I've gone in) This has happened on numerous occasions.. Very inconsistent, also they have high prices for just line work of 1hour time I was looking at $300 for the size of my palm in line work. (Normal lines) No shading/ no coloring just line work. $300 for 1hour. Even when the artist told me $125 was his hourly and $300 was for the quality of the line work he does "ok dude" They basically walk you, even when they have an artist there.. instead of taking $ and doing some shading they'll tell you some staggering high price or tell you to wait for another artist to do the work because A.They don't want to do it or B. They just don't care. I'll never be going back read more

My boyfriend and I came in a few months ago for his appointment. He wanted the tattoos pictured below. When we arrived, we noticed that the outline was not exactly like the reference photo, but my boyfriend did not notice the extent of the discrepancies because he was very rushed by Thomas. When Thomas began working with the tattoo stencil, it was clear that my boyfriend asking him to resize and reposition it irritated him. From then on, my boyfriend felt uncomfortable, and the tattoo process took a total of only about 20 minutes for 2 tattoos (BIG RED FLAG). He looked away during the tattoo to help with the pain and immense pressure. On the guitar tattoo, my boyfriend was left with a random dot (not a birthmark) he didn't ask for. On the flower pot tattoo, he was missing several details, like leaves and shading, and was left with some details (like circles in the vase) he explicitly asked Thomas to omit. We acknowledge that the artist is very skilled and that the tattoos are good quality; however, my boyfriend should have been given a proper consultation and, in turn, tattoos that were closer to his reference photos. With that said, the staff was quiet and not very friendly. Perhaps we got them on a bad day, but they did not seem to want to talk with us or help us. We got our tattoos anyways, and they came out how we wanted and were done quickly and professionally. They may be good at what they do, but they do not interact well with you. SO genuinely sweet and really cared about my tattoo. She had even planned ahead where she was going to shade which was SO impressive to me. My best friend and I went to get spontaneous tattoos and we chose this place! It was absolutely perfect! The receptionist Emily was the sweetest and was very helpful to answer any and all questions and process my paper work quickly! She sent us to one of their great artists who's name I can't remember, he was a little quiet at first but he warmed up to us as soon as he started the tattooing process. He created the most beautiful recreation of the flower set I wanted but with his own additions that I am completely in love with! He made the process quick and afterwards he treated it right away after some quick pictures. Lastly he gave us his most expensive price of $250 and only took cash so we ran to the atm to pull out $300 and the total came out to $180! He was such a sweetie!
