I went to Foolish pride for my first tattoo, a 2 inch line on my wrist. Walked in around 5 on a Saturday and they were able to schedule me an hour later (there were A LOT of people who walked in after me so I don't think getting in as a walk-in on a Saturday is very likely!) The entire experience was flawless. The artist Explained every step of the process, the shop was very clean, and the receptionist was so helpful. It was an excellent first experience. I also appreciated that the artist asked a ton of questions about why I was getting a tattoo and the reasons behind it, to ensure I was doing the right thing. I won't be getting another tattoo, so I won't be back! But highly recommend this place read more

My bestie & I came in on a Saturday afternoon to the St. Pete location as walk-ins for a small angel line tattoo. The receptionist was great. We were introduced to our artist, Andy Parker. He walked us through the process and was very patient and accommodating, helping us with size recommendation and placement, changes to placement if we wanted to see it at a different angle, etc. and then he went to work and it was a breeze! The manager and assistant manager and head of HR wasn't present (I am suspicious that it's all the same guy) but at least there were pictures of him...even in the restroom (iykyk). Just to say I loved all the fun signage in the shop. Thank you again, Andy, for your help and awesome work! There's a reason this shop has 4.9 stars with over 1100 reviews on google (which is how we found them!) 100/10 recommend! read more

This was absolutely an amazing experience, from the communication with the receptionist to help fit us in to the atmosphere. Best of all Josh Shaw took our initial design ideas and turned them into literal works of art that helped tell a story for both my husband and I. It was my first tattoo in over 20 years and my husband's very first tattoo. The shop was pristine and Josh was so professional, personable, and let me just say his portfolio speaks for himself. I taught him out for his style and I am so pleased. The owner was there as well and he was great as well. This experience was memorable for multiple reasons, but the best part was that Josh helped tell our story. Thank you Shaw! I hope that our paths will cross again. read more

LOVE IT!!!! We are Beatle fans and wanted a memorial tattoo for our dog, Bentley, in Beatle font. Way exceeded our expectations and Emily is a true professional. We tried MT and PA (initials used)...and both had rude staff. One of them actually said that this tattoo was beneath them when we expressed what we wanted. We kept going through the proverbial phone book till we found Emily. THANK YOU, EMILY!!! read more

Dani is an excellent tattooist with a light touch. She helps you with your design and does incredible detail work.

I've been to both locations. I love the people there, they're very kind and outgoing. They make it very comfortable. I went recently back in October for a Friday the 13 flash. They were great! The girl (damn I wish I remembered her name) was fun to work with and my tattoo came out very clean. And they were BUSY. She took her time and that made me comfortable. I'll be going back soon. read more

The boo and I decided to get matching tattoos for my birthday while down in Clearwater and my best friend was ready to get her first tattoo so I wanted to find a good place for us. After a google and Yelp search and reading many reviews, I decided on Foolish Pride 2 and Victor because his line work looked the best for what we wanted to get. I actually hit up Victor on his IG the day before (which was a Monday, so they were closed) and he actually responded! He was super friendly, explained all the policies behind booking an appointment, pricing and walk- in clients. I sent him a photo of what we were looking to get and he gave me a very reasonable price range for what he could see online. When we got to the shop, it's not like a normal tattoo shop that I've been used to with drawings all over the walls and large pictures where you can 'pick what you want' from a collection of tattoos. The receptionist was sweet and greeted us with a smile and it was almost like Victor was expecting us. He was very meticulous and definitely not heavy handed. He offered his professional opinion for the tattoos and still followed our requests. He lightened the mood by holding good convos with us during the processes and although this wasn't my first, he still took time to explain aftercare. My best friend got ger first tattoo and Victor made it especially easy on her. He gave her all the good and bad info about getting a tattoo and took very good care with her during the process. He guarantees his work so if anything happens, he will fix it and if I lived here, he would be the number 1 person I'd go to. Thanks Victor!! read more

Morgan was awesome! She was prepared and saw me shortly after the appointment time, just after I finished the paperwork. She also made it very comfortable during the session and checked to see how I was doing, if I needed to take a break, etc. Not to mention I love the tattoo she gave me, and it's even better that she loved it too! Called the night before hoping for an opening while we were in town. Eric Bays had one spot open and im sooooo glad I took it. He was very professional, yet so down to earth and fun. Great guy. As an artist, he's stellar! He delivered the most perfect poppy. He listened to every detail, and then made it even more perfect. It truly was a wonderful exprience and I would definitely go back there again when I'm ready for another. The shop was very clean and sterilized, professional, yet very laid back. Accommodating to walk ins. Talented, polite, and well priced. My tattoo was simple but well done. Thank you

my brother and i wanted tattoos really bad when we came down to clearwater. We went in on saturday and explained what we wanted and we made a deposit to come in tomorrow. It was my first tattoo and it was a very good experience. he reassured me many times and made me feel very safe. walked through the whole entire process. And for my first tattoo it did not hurt as bad as every says it is. He even explained that he doesn't dig into the skin to make it as simple for his clients. His lines are super clean and looks very nice and elegant. Please ask for Victor!! He did amazing. read more

Sent the "artist" a photo of the tattoo wanted. Was told that it wouldn't be a problem. Due to the location of the tattoo, I couldn't see it before it was complete. Well... the tattoo looks absolutely NOTHING like the photo sent and it's also upside-down. I would NOT recommend Rebecca as an "artist". read more

I wish there were more characters available for me to use because I have a million positive things to say about my experience today at Foolish Pride 2! Right off the bat the shop is warm, charming and most importantly ~immaculately clean~! They are requiring masks in studio (as they should) and cleaned all the common areas numerous times while I was there. My artist Morgan L. was an absolute PLEASURE to be tattood by as she's gentle, welcoming, punctual and remarkably talented. The other artists were also extremely kind and added a lot to the general warmth of the shop. I booked my second appointment before my first was even completed because I was truly and genuinely enamored but the facility and staff! Thank you so much to Morgan and everybody else who made my tattoo experience a magical one! read more

Brought my son here for a tattoo while we were on vacation in Florida. We saw all the positive yelp reviews and that's why we picked this place. I can see why they were all positive. Most important the tattoo came out AMAZING. The lines were so clean and neat and the tattoo was clear and perfect. The place was so clean and everyone who worked there was great. I believe the guy who tattooed my son was Carlos. We will definitely be returning when we are back in the area. Great place, highly recommend. read more

When you call to make an appointment over the phone they will tell you it's better off just to come in person for walk in (first come, first serve) Then when you show up the ladies behind the desk (the main female receptionist, same voice who answered the phone) Will tell you it's better to make appointments and everyone is book due to there only being 2 artist who seem to be there at all times. (On the 6-8 times I've gone in) This has happened on numerous occasions.. Very inconsistent, also they have high prices for just line work of 1hour time I was looking at $300 for the size of my palm in line work. (Normal lines) No shading/ no coloring just line work. $300 for 1hour. Even when the artist told me $125 was his hourly and $300 was for the quality of the line work he does "ok dude" They basically walk you, even when they have an artist there.. instead of taking $ and doing some shading they'll tell you some staggering high price or tell you to wait for another artist to do the work because A.They don't want to do it or B. They just don't care. I'll never be going back read more

We walked up today 20 minutes after the shop was supposed to open and 7 people were standing outside waiting for someone to unlock the door ... Ok? So I tried to ask the dude covered in tattoos some questions and he seemed to be so disinterested, pointed out he was already booked. In fact he walked away while I was still talking. We left. I called in for an appt with Everton and the receptionist put me on hold... came back and said "He is on vacation and We dont know when he is coming back. Try calling back around the 25th." Yeah... Ok let me pencil him in. NEXT! We gave up on these unprofessional frauds and got ink right down the street. read more

My girlfriend and I stayed in Clearwater for vacation and decided to each get a small tattoo done, that were spur of the moment. Mind you these are not our first tattoos and we have dealt with several other shops before. Based on other reviews, we decided to give them a shot. With that said, the staff was quiet and not very friendly. Perhaps we got them on a bad day, but they did not seem to want to talk with us or help us. We got our tattoos anyways, and they came out how we wanted and were done quickly and professionally. They may be good at what they do, but they do not interact well with you. We felt a bit uncomfortable being in there. Based on all of this, we gave them 2 stars. read more

My boyfriend and I came in a few months ago for his appointment. He wanted the tattoos pictured below. When we arrived, we noticed that the outline was not exactly like the reference photo, but my boyfriend did not notice the extent of the discrepancies because he was very rushed by Thomas. When Thomas began working with the tattoo stencil, it was clear that my boyfriend asking him to resize and reposition it irritated him. From then on, my boyfriend felt uncomfortable, and the tattoo process took a total of only about 20 minutes for 2 tattoos (BIG RED FLAG). He looked away during the tattoo to help with the pain and immense pressure. On the guitar tattoo, my boyfriend was left with a random dot (not a birthmark) he didn't ask for. On the flower pot tattoo, he was missing several details, like leaves and shading, and was left with some details (like circles in the vase) he explicitly asked Thomas to omit. We acknowledge that the artist is very skilled and that the tattoos are good quality; however, my boyfriend should have been given a proper consultation and, in turn, tattoos that were closer to his reference photos. Unpleasant experience. read more

I wish I could give more stars - Emily Elegado is the best of the best. ' To start - She is one of the nicest and understanding artists I've met in my life. SO genuinely sweet and really cared about my tattoo. She had even planned ahead where she was going to shade which was SO impressive to me. I have 7 tattoos and have never seen an artist care so much in my life. Her application and technique was flawless, barely experienced any pain and it is healing wonderfully. When I took off my bandage I almost cried tears of joy I was so happy.I'm rambling, but moral of the story is - If you're looking to get a quality tattoo GO TO EMILY AT FOOLISH PRIDE! You will NOT be disappointed! read more

I used their site to email what vision I had for my tattoo, waited two days, no response, then called. I said I could come in after I got off work to discuss what I wanted, they said they weren't doing in person consultations due to COVID, and that they would take a look at my email and call me back shortly. My best friend and I went to get spontaneous tattoos and we chose this place! It was absolutely perfect! The receptionist Emily was the sweetest and was very helpful to answer any and all questions and process my paper work quickly! She sent us to one of their great artists who's name I can't remember, he was a little quiet at first but he warmed up to us as soon as he started the tattooing process. He created the most beautiful recreation of the flower set I wanted but with his own additions that I am completely in love with! He made the process quick and afterwards he treated it right away after some quick pictures. Lastly he gave us his most expensive price of $250 and only took cash so we ran to the atm to pull out $300 and the total came out to $180! He was such a sweetie! I greatly appreciate their service here and Emily and my tattoo artist especially for their kindness and hard work! I would 100% recommend this tattoo shop for your tattoos! read more
