Lets just say the service was poor and no solution was even attempted to make the food better. I ordered the tomato cloud toast because it looked amazing in the picture that you advertised on your screen and menu. What I received was a soggy piece of toast with about 10 tomato slices on top , about 4 pieces of bacon, an egg the shape of a golf ball with a tail, and some yellow sauce on top. It was nothing what you advertised, the manager walked over and offered me some white shredded cheese to put on it. In the picture there is clearly herbs on the tomatoes and what only I can guess as mozzarella cheese? But it was nothing like what y'all advertised it to be. Flat-out disappointing. Had one staff member working the front to go along with an extremely slow and inefficient ordering system. Waited ~ 35-40 minutes for a half-cold plate of watery eggs and a pancake that tasted straight from McDonalds. Assuming they have the same distributor because the resemblance was uncanny. Atomic Omelette deserves some credit where it is due, and in my opinion, most of it comes from transparency in keeping with its namesake - they do in fact serve up some pretty amazing omelettes. I've been here a number of times over the years, and have received a wide range of service quality, both before, during and after the pandemic. However, today it was fantastic! For the first time I was able to easily order my omelettes à la carte, making my brunch both affordable and optimally nutritious. Surprisingly, their prices have remained fairly stable despite the recent dramatic increase in egg prices. Perhaps most who dine here are not coming for the protein? Who knows. In any event, if you're in Corpus and on the Southside and are looking for a nice all-day breakfast/brunch spot, this place is worth checking out. We are originally from Hawaii and we wanted to see what this place was all about. We were driving back from Port Aransas and was looking for a new breakfast place to try. This popped up on my feed and was super interested to see what it was about. My bacon omelette was very tasty, but the red potatoes are spicy! I have the taste buds of a 6 years old so anything spicy makes my mouth burn. The biscuit was pretty tasty as well. The loco Moco was okay. An original Loco Moco should consist of white rice. The Rice Pilaf is never served with a true Hawaiian meal. The flavors for the loco Moco were there and this is why I am giving it 4 stars. The Hawaiian French Toast literally taste like a piece bread dipped in Frosted Flakes and then cooked. It was still good but not true Hawaiian sweet bread. I feel the names for these items are very misleading. The service was excellent! I liked how fast we were able to get our drinks and the food came out after about 7 minutes of sitting down. This place I rate it a 2 because the customer service wasn't great at all. The only nice person that gave us some kind of hope is the waitress. From the time my family and I walked in the hellos was dry. The worst part this was my family and I first time here and seems like the cashier was annoyed because of questions we was asking concerning the menu. The environment made my family feel unwanted as customers. Now let's get to the food. It was fresh but my omelette was drenched with butter. The butter drip out of the omelette that covered my plate and my toast. I couldn't taste what was inside the omelette because it was toward the end of the omelette, I finished the meal not pleased. This omelette wasn't that close to satisfying my hunger at all. Now the pancakes they were huge and done well Especially the blueberry pancakes. If you are out of town this place will not be our choice due to the service that was given. My advice to the workers there, makes sure you greet your customers. Make sure if it is the customer first time there no what you are talking about concerning the menu and not be all Over the place with your choice. And be excited about how you present the menu to your customers. When you are uncertain it makes the customer uncomfortable and not want to come back. This place was pretty good, but could have been way better with some adjustments. First, it's walk up ordering, but there's only one register and they had the same girl working the register also making drink orders. We were waiting in line over 30 minutes to place our orders. After we placed orders, we were on our own to find a seat. The food and drinks came right away for one half of our party snd the rest of us we're waiting quite a while longer. Absolutely love this place! It has a different way of ordering;0) first you order your breakfast at the counter and then you look for a seat. They have a young staff which is really refreshing to see handing out the food and drinks, while the more mature staff handles the cooking and directing.
