You can tell that the chef(s) pour their heart into eat dish prepared. My mother in law and I both ordered salads and my wife ordered the snapper tacos and we all ate every single bite! The ambiance is great for a casual family meal and there is also a bar area as well. My only suggestion is for the restaurant to please oh please put a bit into upgrading the bathrooms. It really is a disservice to the customers and experience when some of the stalls don't close and the toilets are literally falling apart and closed with plastic instead of the normal parts they should be. The flounder was HUGE. Like barely fit in the container huge! The crust was nice & crisp while the fish was wonderfully flakey & tender. The shrimp was fried to perfection as well! Now on to the bad things: the fries sucked! The fish plate & the shrimp plate both came with a soggy handful of unsalted fries. The loaded fries were also quite sad and definitely not worth the price. It wasn't enough fries and since when is "loaded fries" just cheese added on top? The sausage was cooked too hard. Also they DO NOT use deveined shrimp. At least they did not the day I went. I actually look at the food I eat so I noticed & took it out. It wasn't too big a deal for me but I know some people won't like that. Overall, it wasn't bad but it definitely could've been better. If I go again, I don't think I'll get any sides, just the fish.
