We came on a Sunday morning which made street parking very easy. Lot of people were ordering so prepare for a wait. We ordered a Pollo Asado La Jolla Burrito, Barbacoa Super Breakfast Burrito, Barbacoa Fries, Ginger Lemonade, and a Horchata Cold Brew. They unfortunately ran out of Carne Asada so get there early. Every single thing we ordered hit the spot. My Super Breakfast Burrito was stuffed and was full of barbacoa that was so flavorful that I didn't even need the carne asada. The Fries were also super loaded and saucy but still crispy (but eat them when you get them). My wife could barely finish half of her burrito so you could definitely make multiple meals out of them (not me though). Both drinks were good, but really loved the light sweetness of the Horchata Cold Brew. I would definitely come more often if it was nearby but it's probably for the best. Definitely worth going out of your way for if you want a burrito.

It had a strong licorice-like flavor that overpowered everything else for me. * Oxtail cheesesteak -- 4/5: Really good, with the perfect amount of cheese! Definitely my favorite of the two cheesesteaks. * Pork bánh mì -- 5/5: Easily the best thing we ordered. So good--honestly, perfection! I'd come back for this alone. * Brisket cheesesteak -- 3/5: Decent, but nothing particularly special. I'd choose the oxtail over this one. The location is a great spot to grab food, a cute spot with plenty of options to choose from. PhoWheels was open the latest out of the options there when we visited, which was a plus! Service was good. There's also Bricks Run Club here, which seems like a cool way to stay active and meet new people. I like that there's a social aspect to the space beyond just grabbing a meal. Overall, the pho wasn't for me, but the pork bánh mì and oxtail cheesesteak were worth trying!

Wonderful little Mexican spot!!…read more What I will say as a gluten free person is they were immediately very knowledgable about what had gluten (including the sauces) which always makes me feel incredibly safe and comfortable as a GF diner. Will absolutely be returning to try more!

A…read morelittle different than the actual restaurant which takes vibrant global flavors and turns them into sandwiches, the SUNdeVICH truck plays off some more traditional regional favorites. All sandwiches are served on a baguette made specifically for SUNdeVICH, using their own recipe and supporting their claim to be local and green by using a local bakery. The BBQ Pulled Pork was loaded with meat, but the Chorizo link -- with a burst of added flavor from the chimichurri sauce -- stole my heart. For just $5 each, and with a condiment bar well stocked with different mustards and hot peppers to customize your meal, these sandwiches are not to miss. The Peel and Eat Shrimp came about eight to an order with a thick and flavorful creole remoulade -- also for just $5! But beware, you do have to peel them yourself...they've been beheaded but still have their legs (and better looking legs than a lot of the folks at the beach...bar). The NYABB plans to rotate food trucks, so I'm not sure where this truck will be when they aren't there, particularly at lunch during the week. Overall, very well done for a truck on opening day, as service was great with a quick turn around for food when in high demand by beach-goers, and it just tastes great. Definitely a worthwhile cheap-eats stop.

Perhaps I should've lowered my expectations when the woman in front of us returned her burrito due to an ignored request impacting her onion allergy... We stopped by around 1pm on Saturday. Ordered a vanilla latte and a Santa Barbara style bacon burrito with no cheese and crema on the side. The latte was truly nothing to write home about - I know times are hard but $7 is steep for a basic vanilla latte. For my burrito, not only were the dairy modifications ignored, the burrito wasn't sealed properly and promptly became a pile of slop. I had to eat it with plastic folk and knife, which isn't ideal on tinfoil. While the filler was ample and delicious, it really bummed me out. When you're charging a ~$20 burrito, I expect better customer service and a burrito you can hold. While it's a spacious location, there was only one working bathroom. It's chaos inside and doesn't feel streamlined -- whole experience felt disjointed.

I've had Mexican street corn before, but this place didn't seem like it was exactly that, because of some different flavorings and add-ons that gave it a bit of southern flair instead. One such place was a Mexican place as my old fav Mexican place on Kent Island (Señors Chile) had great but extremely greasy birria tacos. So you can imagine my surprise when I stumbled upon this food truck that read "Tacos Los Primos". The spot made me curious. So I went to visit a friend who lives in walking distance from the spot for lunch recently. She ordered the veggie burrito and I ordered (pic below) Quesabirria tacos (no onion). When we got back I was WOW'd by not only how yummy my food was but how it wasn't oozing with grease! The consume that comes with for dipping is just enough for me personally and bursting with flavor. As you'd expect from most food trucks the service is made to order. When you go up to the counter and tell them what you want they make it fresh! The truck is parked on Rhoside Green Park (sandwiched between Courthouse and Rosslyn) so if you live in either neighborhood it's easy to access from walking distance. And since it's near an Arlington green space there's usually some seating nearby you can pop a squat and eat lunch. Given spring time is approaching this seems more doable. Just yesterday I was driving by to visit the same friend and saw a long line for this place! Most people in Arlington know how great this spot is, it is a terribly kept secret! Can't comment much on how long the line was busted as I went during a time when it was windy (but warm) and it was mid day. When I drove by it was pushing dinner time past 7pm. I love the food here! But since I live closer to the storefront location in Lyon Park I usually end up ordering food from there (review on that location is coming soon)! If you like authentic Mexican food that's fresh and delicious, you'll enjoy this spot!
