I contacted Wave Electric because of a family member satisfaction when they ordered new solar panels. I was completely dissatisfied with the customer service provided by Semper Energy when they installed a solar battery.The company installed 10 additional panels in around 3 hours. Josh installed the app and explained how to effectively use it to monitor the panels and the battery. I am so pleased and would highly recommend the company. As a senior citizen he was very patient in explaining everything to me.

I called the Wave Electric Company on Thursday March 7, 2024 to request a service to fix a problem with a light switch in my house. The company receptionist (Kim) explained that there will be a charge of $89 to dispatch a technician to look into the problem. She also mentioned that if repair is required then there would be a time and materials charge. The technician showed up on Friday March 8, 2024 and fixed the problem (tighten a loose wire and replacing a single pole wall switch) without giving me an estimate. Neither the company receptionist nor the technician ever mentioned that there will be a diagnostic charge in the amount of $285. The technician brought the diagnostic charge to my attention after he completed the repair. The repair took him less than 1/2 hour. I disagreed with the bill and asked him to have the office call me. I then contacted the office and explained that it is outrageous to charge me $373 to fix a wall switch which took less than 1/2 hour and hence I disputed the diagnostic charge and requested a corrected bill to be sent to me so that I can pay my bill. I suggested the corrected bill should include: - Dispatch / providing repair cost fee - $89 - Repair cost (1/2 hour labor cost) - Materials (1 single pole wall switch) The Wave electric company receptionist refused to listen to my concern and she hanged up on me. I decided to pay the bill when I receive a paper bill in the mail and then file a complaint with the Monmouth Small Claims court to dispute the diagnostic charge.
