This hotel!!! We decided to stay here while visiting Boston because it was cheaper than staying in the city. Man was that a great choice! This hotel is amazing. Every room has an ocean view. The room was very clean and the chairs on the patio facing the ocean were lovely. They also have a great little restaurant on site for breakfast. I would love to come back and stay here again in the summer. Our only complaint is that everything shuts down very early in town. We got in at 6:30pm and had trouble finding a place for dinner. So if you plan to come here, call ahead and get yourself some reservations. I would most definitely stay here again.

Absolutely amazing experience... bedroom very clean , super friendly staff, and food in the cafe was great too. Gorgeous views !!! Very serene

The waves splashing over the rocks are mesmerizing! And the sunrises are worth getting up to photograph!!

What an Oasis! We're Bostonian locals who found the Atlantis Oceanfront Inn (AOI) during covid when traveling far was not recommended. The ocean views are so much better than the overpriced Beauport Hotel downtown AND the AOI is walking distance to Good Harbor Beach (T&L Mag just named it one of the top 25 beaches in the country!). If you have a special concern Jane, the manager is so down-to-earth and pleasant to talk to. The rooms are SPOTLESSLY clean and the staff: Vicky, Mary Ellen, Kevin and many others are friendly, helpful and just wonderful! Steve the maintenance/garden guy keeps the grounds impeccably beautiful. The Breakfast Cafe attracts many locals (that was the tip off that the quality would be good). Kim on the wait staff, goes out of her way to make your meal special. We've been trying many local places from Gloucester to Newburyport, but we keep coming back to the AOI as our favorite! P.S. Tip: Don't miss the home baked complimentary cookies in the lobby. The raspberry and lemon filled are the best!!

Great location and breakfast was wonderful! Staff was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again. Highly recommend :)

Delicious breakfast with many choices. We shared the oatmeal with pecans, apricot and cranberries, the blueberry pancakes and homemade corned beef hash (very lean, no potatoes) with perfectly poached eggs. Very nice waitstaff, lots of cleaning after diners left a table to prepare for the next guest, and the view was outstanding.

We are finishing our 3 night stay here tonight. The folks at the desk are super nice. The breakfast crew is great! Rooms are in good shape and the bed was comfortable. There is a nice pool and chairs. Just wish they might do some lawn games or install a jacuzzi or offer food throughout the day to make it perfect. All that said, it is a great place for a getaway!

I was anxious about staying at a hotel during Covid but was so impressed with the safety procedures, and cleanliness of the motel. The rooms are simple but very clean and the location is amazing. Power went out our first night and did not return until lunch the following day. The cafe was not open but muffins and coffee were provided to guests. Staff was helpful and pleasant. Would definitely stay again.

I asked for a single pancake to go along with my breakfast meal and it was $10.50! A stack was 12.50.

The ocean facing rooms are luxurious and beautiful. It is definitely expensive but its truly beautiful and such special place. Wedding Venue Review: We saw so many venues at the start of planning and the Beauport was the only one that made a lasting impression. We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to host our wedding there. It was so stunning, beautiful and perfect. We were truly proud to invite our friends and family to such a breathtaking place. The food was absolutely to die for, the waitstaff and hotel staff were so sweet, and our coordinator Jacey was attentive in the months leading up to our event. We did have some critiques. The communication with our coordinator was not 100% on the day of our wedding. There were small things here and there, but the biggest one was that a row was meant to be reserved for our bridesmaids, groomsmen and flower girl, but it was not so they ended up having to stand up with us. We discussed this many times during planning, and emphasized the importance of only having our man of honor and our best man standing up with us. There was no apology for this pretty considerable error until I brought it up myself a week after the wedding. The other critique was that my parents were in city facing rooms and had a very hard time sleeping due to excessive noise from the street. Other people in the room block had much better rooms which we felt should have been given to our parents. Other than that, everything was amazing. It was truly so special and we will never ever forget it. We couldn't be more grateful to have had the most perfect sunny day on the water in Gloucester, a place that has been special to my heart since I was a kid. Thank you Beauport Hotel! We will never ever forget our wedding day.

Ordered the baked haddock casserole and was very unhappy with the meal. It was anything but a casserole. It was cooked in a hot metal oven pan with a sparse amount of crumbs and had a "weird" spice on it. It was overpriced too. Not someplace I would choose for a lunch date.

We had a view from the second floor across the street to Gloucester Bay and the famous mariners statue. Downtown is a short walk in one direction, and the bridge that is seen on Wicked Tuna a short walk in the opposite direction. There is a fabulous waterfront park a short distance away with beautiful views for a hike. We did not use our car during the visit. Since they had availability, we were taken on a tour and were able to choose our room. Everything was in working order, with the room very large and comfortable. We stayed over Wednesday night and the evening "sing was directly below our room. I was reminded for some reason to call and catch up with my sweat lodge hippy quaker sister and see how she was doing (just fine thanks). I am sure it was our imagination, but the following morning we heard something scurrying across the roof. My wide asked if I thought it was the famous muffin bunny. I checked the door, and there was the muffin basket. We really enjoyed our stay at the Inn, and in Gloucester. If you visit the Inn, and are staying on the second floor, pack light as the stairway is a bit steep.

I have very mixed feelings about this experience. I have never stayed somewhere like this before…read more This is more of a strange mash up of Airbnb meets hotel/inn. Upon arrival we realized there is not a single human working there. We had to park down the street and walk with our bags. Find the side door, enter a code, climb the stairs, enter another code to get into our room. The room (8) was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The sink in the bathroom was so insanely small it was impossible to use it without water splashing everywhere. This is a very old building and you could hear every sound in the surrounding rooms as well as every step of the people in the room above. The door to our room didn't go all the way to the floor, there was a large gap. Basically it felt like there was no privacy at all. This made the stay a bit uncomfortable but we only stayed one night and honestly, only for a couple of hours after an event and before check out so it was acceptable. If we were on vacation I would not have been happy with the experience. The location is great, walking distance to shops and restaurants and across from the beach but for almost $300 in December and all the issues I mentioned, I would not go back. They should really let you know before you book that you cannot park or even stop and unload near the hotel. That is so unusual and inconvenient! They only mention this in the informational email before check in/after you have booked & paid. They did mention that you have to climb stairs but not that they are so steep! My husband and I are relatively young and healthy but we had trouble carrying our bags/belongings up and down the stairs. I am not sure they meet the standards of building codes today, they may be grandfathered in since it's an old building. I climb stairs in my house everyday, those were treacherous with luggage! If you NEED a place to stay in Rockport and you don't want a "hotel" experience I guess this is a good choice.
