What a disappointment. I wasn't feeling well, so I called in an order for Mi Bo Kho--a dish on their menu that not many Vietnamese places carry these days. When I called, the woman at the counter answered. I asked for Mi Bo Kho, but she had trouble understanding what I was requesting. Maybe my pronunciation wasn't perfect, but I'm pretty sure it was close. I repeated "Mi Bo Kho" three times. Right after that, she was about to hang up, and I said, "Wait, I'm not finished with my order." She replied, "Ok, go ahead." I asked for extra noodles and extra meat. She then asked me what meat. Since Bo Kho only comes with one meat, I said, "The same meat that comes in Bo Kho." She said, "Ok, see you soon." I drove over to pick it up and told them I had ordered the Bo Kho. The guy asked, "3 items?" I said no, I only ordered Bo Kho. He handed me the bag (my mistake for not checking the receipt), I paid, and then I drove home--about 24 minutes. When I got home and opened the bag, it wasn't Mi Bo Kho. It was Pho Bo Vien. Totally different dish, not even the same soup. I called and asked for a refund. The owner told me he can't do that, but he can give me another soup next time I come in. I don't WANT to come in another time--I wanted Bo Kho TODAY, which is the whole reason I ordered from this place specifically. He also suggested I come back to swap it, but I explained: you're 25 minutes away, and it was already 8:45pm. They close at 9pm. Needless to say, I won't be back. Also, the Pho Bo Vien came with NO cilantro, no culantro, and no sriracha or spicy oil. C'mon... that's a staple with pho. And lettuce was substituted for culantro... yes, lettuce. The standout for me was the fresh rolls with grilled pork and their hoisin peanut sauce, that combination had me reeling and was absolutely delicious. This spot has been around forever and is always a delight to visit when craving a hot bowl of pho. Upon walking in, we were immediately greeted and sat wherever we chose. The restaurant is very clean and the tables are spread out enough so it doesn't feel crowded at all. They start by giving you a small snack of shrimp cakes while you look over the menu. Once you order, the food comes out super quick and hot. We ordered the rare beef pho and shrimp fried rice. I can confidently say that they do not skimp on the shrimp! They use tiny shrimp, but there is so much of it throughout the rice which I can't say for other places i've gotten shrimp fried rice from. The pho was perfect. It comes with a side of fresh jalapeños, bean sprouts, basil and lime wedges. There is also a plethora of different sauces on the table so you can customize your bowl to your liking. The rare beef is delicious and cooks perfectly inside the hot bowl of savory and subtly sweet broth. The noodles are silky, thin and delicate but not too soft. The scallions, white onion and cilantro add brightness, crunch and freshness. The meat is of great quality. *My personal favorite is the Vermicelli noodle egg roll combo. *my colleagues have said the PHO is better than other places they have been. *EGG ROLLS are the best I have ever had-light, crispy, slightly sweet. SERVICE: They are SUPER SWEET and have a very relaxed attitude and they dont want to rush you. If you are in a hurry, the food comes fast, and you can find them to pay the bill when you are ready. The weather in Florida is starting to drop in temperature so it was the perfect opportunity to grab some soup. When my friend told me would I like to try Atlantic Pho, I immediately replied to him is it on Atlantic Blvd by any chance? And he was like exactly. When arriving to the restaurant it had a funky smell to it but when I sat there longer, it became normal. As always, I go with the combination pho which comes with a little bit of everything. I asked for a large but the bowl look like it could pass for the medium or small. The broth lacked a bit of flavor but later found out why because the owners had complaints of the broth being too sweet. I believe they took out more than just sweetness, they took out flavor. But flavor could be fixed with condiments like fish sauce, hoisin sauce, sriracha and veggies. I still think the bang for the buck would be the vermicelli bowl my girlfriend was eating. It was packed with meat and noodles for the same price. Although, the meat came out lukewarm it was still better than eating the pho. Though I do love Vietnamese food, I've never tried a Vietnamese restaurant for the first time expecting clean environment and excellent food; mostly because I've been to so many that have disappointed. I wasn't expecting the world with Atlantic Pho (mostly jaded by the places I have visited in the area) but Atlantic Pho broke that disappointment trend. We arrived to a small but extremely clean dining room. There was the take out counter that also was clean. And the woman behind the counter was eager to please; welcoming us in and offering us a table. We were too late for lunch and we had dinner plans that night so it was just a light bite to satisfy us for the afternoon. We had a couple orders of Spring Rolls and they were excellent. Also enjoyed a Honey Dew smoothie / milk tea. A couple weeks later, we returned and got a couple of Banh Mi Sandwiches (one Grilled Chicken and one BBQ Pork).... the french bread and cilantro was fresh and the meats were not dry. Our party of four enjoyed our dinner at Atlantic Pho. It was very bright and clean. It looked like it had been remodeled since my last visit several years ago. Our party had the spring rolls, the crêpe, beef lemon grass, and the ribs plate. My beef lemon grass had a chili beside it however, I did not consider it hot. All the ingredients were very fresh. The menu is extensive and prices are very reasonable for the serving sizes. They are in a small strip center on the southside of Atlantic Boulevard in Margate. Their hours are 10 to 9 daily except for Wednesday when they are closed. The restaurant was not overly busy during our visit however there was a consistent flow of customers. Service was friendly and efficient. I would return to Atlantic Pho, and I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in a reasonable and flavorful Vietnamese meal. read more

Went to pick up banh mi and Vietnamese coffee! The place was super clean and inviting. Workers were super nice and respectful and the ordering process online was quick and easy. The banh mi is amazing. The quality of the bread was perfection and it includes a lot of meat and veggies for the price :) The Vietnamese coffee was super strong! It can keep you awake for days if you need to. I love my coffee strong and it had the perfect amount of sweetness from the condensed milk to balance it out. Came to Atlantic Pho to try Vietnamese food for the first time. I didn't get pho, instead I got a shrimp and pork noodle bowl, as well as shrimp roll. I wasn't a fan of either. I suppose is because the food itself is very bland, they have a ton of sauces to add to it, but they are all sweet. The pork was seasoned, but it was very sweet as well. The bowl consisted of rice noodles, a lot of shredded, iceberg lettuce, scallions, a few shrimps, pork, and some fish sauce to pour over it. I wish they would've been some more vegetables like carrots, cucumbers, peppers something to give a color and flavor. I was super disappointed with it. I ate about half of it and left the rest. I just couldn't take the sweetness. The roll was the same thing, rice paper wrap with iceberg lettuce, noodles, and shrimp with some peanut sauce to dip. No carrots or other vegetables. I guess I was expecting something more along the lines of the Japanese style rice paper rolls. My husband got a dish that came with pork meat, chicken rice, and egg. He liked it but also found it a tad sweet. Service was OK. The food came very fast, which leads me to believe that is not prepared to order. Ambience is just your typical strip shopping center restaurant. I wouldn't come back only because I wasn't a fan of Vietnamese food. My husband was in the mood for chicken soup for lunch. We were heading west, so I looked up soup on my trusty Yelp app for a place enroute -- there were delis, Cuban restaurants, and aha! Pho! I'd been here many years back (pre Yelp) by myself for lunch once. It was just okay. I was happy to learn they'd remodeled and had new owners since I'd been here last. It shows in the decor, but especially in the food which was wonderful! I started with a small wonton soup. It had that flavorful broth that I love (not that overly colored yellow one) that is so aromatic. There were al dente wontons in it. I knew my husband would love the base broth. Along with my soup, I had a "Vietnamese sandwich". I chose their bbq pork. It came with tender, lean (no fat!) slices of pork, along with cucumbers, white radishes, cilantro, carrot slivers, and pate. I opted for no Mayo or jalapeños. Even though I usually prefer a crustier baguette, the hoagie roll was fine and the sandwich itself was delicious. My husband ordered their chicken egg noodle soup. The pho came in a huge bowl. In the chicken broth, were lots of white meat chicken pieces and tender egg noodles all topped with scallions and cilantro. Along side, was a plate with basil, bean sprouts, lime wedges, and jalapeños. He added all but the jalapeños to his soup. He said it too, was very very good and exactly what he'd been craving. He wound up taking half his soup home (he had it for dinner); and I even had half my sandwich for later, as well. Service, btw, was fine. No language problems at all. And our order came exactly as requested. So glad we stopped here and tried them, again. It's a great option for no frills, but outstanding Vietnamese cuisine. read more

First, I had the spring roll and it was fresh and full with sauce on the side. Quite tasty. Then for the Pho. I brought that home and spread out all the delectable additions on the table. I poured the broth in to a large bowl and added the noodles. Then the shoots and greens like parsley and basil. Lastly I added the beef and flavored with lime. So satisfying. A real comfort food!! I was in the mood for some Chicken Noodle Soup. My wife asked if it could be a Pho instead of soup and I said sure! Voila, she pulls up Atlantic Pho on her Yelp app, only two miles away. This place looks new inside and so clean! After a friendly greeting we were offered a two top in the front window away from the door... perfect! Our server brought our menus to look over. My wife selected the Won Ton soup with a Pork Bon Mi. I selected the M4, the Chicken Pho with Egg Noodles. After a short wait my wife's won ton soup arrived, followed by her beautiful Bon mi and my huge bowl, (only size M4 comes in), steaming hot from the kitchen carried by the chef on a tray. I would estimate the serving size to be at least eight cups of divinely flavored chicken broth and large slices and chunks of white meat chicken. I always order chicken pho, this time around they changed the style of the chicken served in the dish, you are now getting 2 meals in 1. Which is great, but not everyone knows how to eat it. The only downside is that they recently changed management and prices, the prices in the menu is not the same price when they give you the check, they definitely need to fix that. Lots of rice noddles topped with lots of sweet charred pork slices and some pickled carrots radish on the side. There's also bean sprouts, cucumber slices and crushed peanuts inside. For a large pho at over $20 there should have been more broth and noodles - the flavor of the broth was ok but not the intense flavor I have tried else where. We had been avid customers for the past five years. Always excellent quality and a value for the dollar. The PHO excellent and freshness of additional items always satisfying. We especially liked the whole crispy Pompano fish. Well things have changed for June, 2023. They no longer even knew what a Pompano was. No fish at all. We where told they do not have those fish in Florida. Ok, so I ordered my second favorite the House Special PHO. First time ever that I was still hungry after finishing every drop of my MEDIUM SIZED BOWL OF PHO @ $16.plus. The quality is still excellent. The value is gone. WELL, I am so happy to have found Atlantic Pho. My immediate reaction when we first walked in was how very clean the restaurant is. We were also immediately greeted by someone who genuinely appeared to be appreciative of us being there. That's all good, but the quality and taste of the dishes are truly the most important. I have been enjoying pho for years all around the country and I am very picky. This was one of the freshest, tastiest and flavorful pho I have had in a while. Now, my only regret is that the restaurant is not in my backyard. However, it has now become my daughters and I meeting spot.
