After dealing with one of the most criminal property management companies to one of the most incompetent property managers, working with Joseph and Daniella is a breath of fresh air. Daniella and Joseph have been extremely responsive to all the issues caused by the previous management companies, I am so grateful we found them and they took on our building as it is no easy feat. In the short time we have worked with them, they have addressed so many issues caused by the one company and ignored by the other manager. This management company has become worse year after year. The level of professionalism, communication, and accountability is extremely disappointing. One of the biggest issues is that they hire their own superintendent to perform work for the building, yet the quality of service is unacceptable. The super has displayed a consistently rude and disrespectful attitude toward tenants and owners for years, including using inappropriate language and speaking to residents with little respect. Many owners I have spoken with share the same concerns. In addition, the super's wife is also involved in the work and lives in the building, yet basic maintenance and cleanliness are still poorly handled. Requests are often ignored or delayed. The super openly acts as if complaints do not matter because of his close relationship with the management team, which creates the impression of favoritism and lack of accountability. Another serious concern is the professionalism of the property management staff. In another building managed by this company, the manager Daniella has been dismissive, unhelpful, and unwilling to resolve issues properly. Instead of addressing concerns, she often shifts blame to residents and tells people to submit online complaints rather than making any real effort to help. Communication lacks transparency, and whenever owners ask for clarification, the response is often that "it was already communicated previously," instead of actually addressing the concern. During meetings, owners' suggestions and proposals are frequently interrupted or cut off, giving the impression that management is more interested in ending the meeting quickly than listening to homeowners. Residents deserve to be heard and treated respectfully. I own three condo units in different locations managed by this company, and the maintenance fees have increased dramatically -- more than doubling over time. Meanwhile, I own units managed by other companies where fee increases have been far more reasonable, even after reserve studies and rising costs. I normally do not leave negative reviews, but after years of frustration, poor service, arrogance, and lack of accountability, I feel compelled to warn others. Homeowners deserve better treatment, better communication, and better management. There are far better management companies available, and I strongly encourage people to carefully consider other options before choosing this one. After speaking with other homeowners, it appears that many negative reviews have been removed over time. I encouraged homeowners in the community chat group to raise their concerns and share their honest experiences, including on social media platforms, so management can better understand the ongoing issues affecting residents. read more

Slow to respond with intelligent answers. No actual real response provided by building manager during two emergency situations and their aftermath. Rude, obnoxious entry level management with vague non-answers is norm. Low water pressure and dirty carpets and lawn are ongoing issues. read more

Beware of this property management company. Our property manager played politics with the board and would ignore complaints and requests unless it came from one or two people from the board. Avoid this company like the plague. The manager wouldn't even send the Condo Rulebook out to members of the board. Also, the manager would spend hundreds of dollars of board money without voting or notify the board. This company has no ethics and I question the legality of its practices. read more

Our building 6209 Blvd E WNY - Lobby door Buzzer has been out of order for over 10 days! So during a pandemic, tenants need to go downstairs to open the lobby door for food/package deliveries ..etc , Emailed Atlantic Management, however when they feel like answering, you are being told it is fixed even though it is still not working! If one of the property Managers was actually living in this building, I am sure it would already be fixed! I filed a complaint through the bureau of Housing Inspection .. will call them back on Monday, hopefully someone will be able to get thinks moving. read more

After many horrible experiences with previous management companies our building hired Atlantic Management, what a difference! All issues are resolved in a timely manner (finally). The manager is helpful and always answers on time. We had an issue when moving in and they helped us resolve it and made a stressful time go smoothly and quickly. read more

Was told "I am not pushing for the intercom for one unit that is ruining other peoples lives." I was ruining peoples lives cause my dog was barking . This company has been an utter nightmare. We are renting from a landlord in west new york. The best we can say about atlantic management; is that you can now work with them because we will not be renewing our lease. After two months of attempting to rectify building steam pipe issues, I was told today that management would not be repairing damage to our walls due to the issues. Seriously we have been without our belongings and apartment for two months. For the past two months I have been going back and forth between our personally funded and personally found apartment for temporary residence and the staff of the atlantic management and their contracted contractors have left our door open on about a dozen of occasions that we know of. They provided us no storage and no reimbursement for our friends who apartment we have been staying at for two months. Upon inspection of repairs and work done to the apt, each time more issues were wrong that what we started out with. For example - repairs done to rooms where holes were made in walls to repair pipes resulted in fractures and cracking to foundations walls that now management does not want to repair. I sincerely urge you to stay away from this group all together.. This is a complete disorganized nightmare. If I could give zero stars I would, however this is not an option. So an update. We moved out from the halifax hall and stopped having to deal with atlantic management. As most people do when they move we sold some of our belongings. The management company tried to fine us for moving out early. All I can say again. Avoid this terrible management company and even worse board members that will continuously screw you over and make sure that only their needs are met. If you are seeking a management company AVOID ATLANTIC MANAGEMENT AT ALL COST. The Halifax Hall is governed by a horrible group of individuals who are self serving people. They can ride out a hurricane in your apartment, invite you to their christmas party and then not give a rats about you, your belongings or life. Bad people, Bad Building. Racism is funny. If they honestly thought an 80 year old latino woman was moving us out because she had a van and a grandson, this again speaks to the character of the building and the management company. Also the super employed by the building gave us permission to allow for this boxes and a TV to be carried through the apt lobby. We lived on the first floor. I try to find any other reason of the possible discrimination or mistreatment other than the fact that they are truly horrible people. The only other thing that comes to mind is that my husband and I are gay and he is of latino/minority descent. Nobody should to be treated this way. Lastly, we will be retaining legal representation to serve Atlantic Management and Halifax Halls Board Members with claims of damage to our belongings. Do not allow this to happen to you! read more

Our Condo Association in Downtown Jersey City hired Atlantic Management last year, and have found them to be a professional team of hard workers who are courteous, respond quickly, provide prompt attention to our property needs, and gets the job done, they are prompt to resolve issues, and their rates are very reasonable! Atlantic provides monthly reports and has on line access to pay our dues. Our agent Kathy conducts her self in a professional manner when dealing with the owners, is always mindful of the state laws that govern Condominiums and her responsibilities. We have been very pleased with Atlantic and feel this will be a long term business relationship. read more

We have had issues with AM since day one, having repeat repairs done with no resolution in sight. incompetent company. they don't like to share information and bad mouth tenants that disagree with them. they don't bid for projects, just hire companies that they have been using probably because of a kick backs. we are in the process of getting rid of them and finding another management company. read more
