I called Dr. Hirsch's office to ask if he could possibly take a look at my results because I was very nervous. I knew this was somewhat out of the norm but I decided to try anyway. I received a call back within 10 minutes from the time I called his office informing me that Dr. Hirsch would meet with me during his lunch break. What doctor does that??? He took a look at my report and answered all my questions with care and compassion and eased my fears.... I would never go anywhere else!!

I understand Saturdays can be busy, but the solution should be a better workflow...not moving or canceling patients who made appointments. I also had issues with the check-in system because my appointment had been removed, and I was told the blood work would be billed as a sick visit even though the prescription was associated with a physical. Based on my experience working in insurance, this raised serious concerns about whether the billing was being handled correctly. Overall, the staff may be dealing with a high volume of patients, but that shouldn't come at the expense of people who took the time to schedule appointments. She is so considerate of the person on the other end of the call without losing track of the people waiting to have a test done. When she got off the phone earlier today as I was waiting to be called in for a blood test, I. turned to the woman sitting next to me and asked her, "Have you ever heard a receptionist be more concerned than she is with people whose calls she is receiving? and she replied, "I was thinking the same thing myself."
