If you are looking for someone to build a shed--or frankly anything--stop right here and call…read moreShawn. Let me start by saying this: I am not an easy person to please. I am detail-oriented to a fault, a little OCD, admittedly grouchy at times, and I expect things done right. I notice everything. So when I say Shawn exceeded every expectation I had, I mean that sincerely. From day one, he was patient, kind, and incredibly professional. He listened carefully, never rushed the process, and handled every question (and there were plenty!) with grace and respect. Not once did I feel like I was "too much"--which, trust me, is saying something. The shed he built for us is a 21 x 16 masterpiece. The craftsmanship is outstanding--solid, precise, and beautifully finished. You can tell immediately that he takes pride in his work. And somehow, he delivered all of this at an amazing price and in a very short timeframe, which honestly still amazes me. What stands out the most is not just the quality of the shed, but the character behind the work. Shawn is the kind of person you want to do business with--honest, dependable, and genuinely committed to doing things the right way. I am beyond grateful for the experience and the final product. Without hesitation, I can say this: Shawn will be doing all of my future construction projects. Thank you, Shawn and your amazing team!--you truly knocked this out of the park.

However, issues arose when we requested this company to help fix a small flooring problem at a different property. Dave met us for a quote, scheduled a date and time for installation, which later had to be cancelled. After that, Dave was very diificult to contact and never responded to calls, texts, voicemails etc. They apparently have a new system. No one answers the phone anymore, it goes straight to voice mail, but don't expect a response to your voicemail. Eventually, I had to find another company to accomplish the task. It is extremely discouraging that I thought I had found a reliable, quality flooring installer, but I would not recommend the frustration and lack of communication that comes with dealing with this company.

Two years ago we noticed the roof in the kitchen (below the master bath) was deterioting. The home…read morewas original 1972, so obviously had a shower pan leak. We contacted Kitchen and Shower Expo and had them do the work, which entailed replacing the shower pan, some carpentry work, and retiling the bottom section of the walk in shower ($8k). Less than 2 years later, the grout around the drain for about a foot and a half is COMPLETELY gone, it sags a bit, a cut tile by the drain is broke, and now I see a brown spot developing on the ceiling directly below it, indicating a leak. I am a firm believer that crap happens... It just needs to be fixed. We contacted them, and while yes I understand it is out of the 1 year window, they refuse to fix their issue without almost $1000 payment. Fine... The contract says 1 year, they can do that, even though I feel it is a poor business practice not to see that this as something beyond the contract. As she said, "We have never seen damage that bad in such a short period of time." She says it's lack of maintenance, the 3 other companies that have see it in person say otherwise. Being that, I just want to make sure future customers see what COULD happen to them, and weigh the risks. Now, Star will probably come on here and say we didn't maintain it... The original shower had been here for 51 years, and other that your typical wear and tear, the grout was good condition. She's also going to point out a piece of tile that broke off in the corner of the shower, and insinuate it fell off the side trim because of lack of upkeep. That piece of tile was one of the pieces that broke off around the drain, NOT the side trim. I have inspected the wall trim... No piece is missing. They did a fine job along the wall. No complaints there. So, long story short, 51 years, grout was still good. Kitchen and Bath Expo replace it, and less than 2 years the shower itself is worse than it was before. Is this a one off situation? Maybe. It's up to you if you want to risk it.

Roy and his crew arrived at my home on time and built the shed from the ground up in 2 days just as promised. No surprises.. just a well-built custom shed at a very competitive price. Fast forward about 3 years or so and I had moved to a new house. I wanted to build a very large (3000 square feet - finished) detached garage and the first person I thought of to handle the job was Roy at RMG. I reached out to him, he came by and walked the property with me, we discussed the project and within a few days I had a good estimate for the job. Once we agreed on the project, Roy swung into action, worked with the architect and all the sub-contractors to get the project in motion. Since this was a sizable project, it did take a good bit of time to complete. During this time Roy was very patient with my questions, very responsive to my needs and I felt like he was there if I needed anything. So, with RMG project number 2 just wrapped up I again find myself very very pleased. To date, this was the biggest construction project I have ever been involved with and RMG was a great partner to make it happen. I would be more than happy to recommend Roy and the whole RMG Construction crew for your building project. If you want a professional job and someone trustworthy and easy to work with, Roy is the guy to talk to.
