You can be on Queens Blvd then turn into this huge circular parking lot. When you enter the building there's a door man and you have to sign your name. The doorman was very respectful and kind. He wasn't just some lame doorman who sat behind a desk. The office is up 4 steps leading to their office. The inside is very clean with awesome pistachio green seats. They constantly have NY1 playing on their two flat screen TVs. The heat in the office was blasting it was a little hot in here. They do have a water fountain which helped. The receptionists were extremely nice and welcoming. The second I walked in they greeted me like I've been coming here for years. I should note it wasn't even for my appointment. They were nice even tho the person that was with me didn't have their insurance card. They allowed him send his information via e-mail right on the spot. Like every doctors appointment you fill out basic information and once your done the doctor sees you within five minutes. I should note this was a Saturday appointment too! Its rare to have such great service on a Saturday. I definitely recommend this place if you need to see a doctor on the weekend. It doesn't get any better than this.

They must desist insisting on giving appointments only to have us wait additional hours for a procedure that in itself takes additional hours to perform? The pop music coming through their speakers exacerbates the headache. Wish they'd play The Piano Guys, or Instrumental Jazz or anything other than the background static noise. It does nothing to ease the physical and mental unease from the toll this procedure produces. This is by no means a reflection on Dr. Shalomov. Again, his bedside manner is exceptional. Sweet Marisol, a young woman (they all seem so young), took my blood pressure. The anaesthesiologist was rougher than the previous one during the colonoscopy. If you can, request for Dr. David Chang. He's gentle, kind, and has a clue. Side note: please provide gluten free options of crackers, pretzels, or cookies. The nurse was giving me crackers stating "you'll be alright. It just has wheat and soy". Wheat....is gluten. Not up for hives, and allergic reaction after a procedure. Hope this review helps improve what others have voiced as needing improvement. And though initially the music played in the waiting room did nothing to soothe the anxiety deriving from lack of nourishment, (it was an afternoon appt) and the increasing concern for what may be found, the procedure itself is what leads to my the 5-star rating. The anesthesiologist, Dr. David Chang , used strategies to calm the anxiety. Through an offer to pray for me based on my personal faith, Adrian provided comfort. And through a warm smile, and the assurance everything will be alright, Dr. Shalomov's bedside manner was wholeheartedly appreciated. Although I am not looking forward to the upcoming endoscopy, we know these are necessary to prevent the "If you'd come sooner..." sobering prompt. My only suggestion is to play instrumental, or upbeat music to help those waiting for long hours in the waiting room alongside those who greet us at the door.

The food is really good too and they give you options for you to choose from. You and your partner both get a celebratory dinner together. We had steak and it was delicious with a bottle of sparkling cider. Private rooms are guaranteed but I was lucky enough to get one. The nurses are wonderful too but mainly depends who's working those shifts. My doctor told me I could ask a nurse to take my baby to the nursery if I needed to rest. I asked a nurse if she could take the baby to the nursery so I could shower and she said "leave the bassinet outside the bathroom with the door open. No one is here and I'm right outside". That I didn't think was safe. I kept checking on the baby so couldn't really shower in peace and almost slipped because I kept going out to check.

Worst hospital experience I've ever had…read more I have been here for over 10 1/2 hours. When I first arrived, they did bloodwork and a urine test. More than 10 hours later, I still have not received any explanation about what is going on or what the results are. I was also sent for an ultrasound of my testicles. After returning to my bed, I continued to wait with no update from a doctor or nurse. My wife asked several nurses who my assigned nurse was and if someone could please give us an update. She was met with a rude response of, "Oh, we don't know." At one point, I needed to use the bathroom. I cannot walk, so I asked a nurse for a male urinal. They handed it to me and then told my wife that she needed to help me use it, rather than having hospital staff assist me. The lack of communication, compassion, and basic bedside manner has been absolutely unacceptable. When a patient has been in the hospital for more than 10 hours, cannot walk, and is waiting for answers, they should not have to repeatedly chase down staff just to find out who their nurse is or what is happening with their care. The bedside manner and communication at this hospital have been terrible.

Which made me feel uncomfortable. I had my first colonoscopy scheduled and was already anxious about the procedure and even though I was planning to do the procedure with Dr Schnall. I decided the day before not to do it . I left a message at the center as it was the weekend and call the morning as soon as I could to let them know , also that last conversation with Dr Schnall did stick out in my mind when I made my decision. The doctor patient relationship should be based on more than the financial benefit to the doctor. Later that day His front desk staff called me to tell me I will be charge 50 dollars for the last minute cancellation I had no problem with them charging -$50 which is understandable I did not dispute the fee. I told her my reasons for canceling in a calm way, But she started talking to me very rudely about it and proceeded to reprimand me on the inconvenience I caused to Dr Schnall and his team . it's my body and I have a right to change my mind , and to feel comfortable with my doctor and confident in my doctor /patient relationship, especially with a procedure like this. I wasn't taking any chances so he went for consultation, and had the procedure done. Thank God everything went well and everything was normal. Their clinic is centrally located in the heart of Queens, next to the Queens Mall, along Queens Boulevard. The staff was very pleasant and the clinic itself was very clean. The doctor has a lot of doctors under him in house and do the procedure right there. They take care of Digestive Orders, Gastrointestinal, Endoscopy, Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Disorders.
