Then in the loan signing, they tried to give him only 3 options to choose for the warranty, all being extended warranties and the guy stated it as you need to pick one. This is a 2017 vehicle, however is new to me and has less than 30,000 miles. Approximately 30 minutes before my first appointment the dealer calls and wants to know if I would like to have my vehicle appraised while I'm there. I explain I just bought it less than a month ago and am not interested. At that appointment I found out the lift gate motor needs replacing, not a cheap fix and was told I should take it back to the place I bought it to see if they won't help with the cost. Of course I ask if it's not still under warranty because 3 years means 2020 to me. I was told it most likely would have expired (factory warranty) but to appease me they would check. Guess what, the vehicle still has warranty time and is covered. Fast forward to today, I'm going in to have it replaced and again 30 minutes before my appointment they call wanting to know if I'd like my vehicle appraised!!!! Keep in mind, this is only 3 days from my first visit. Clearly, the only concern here is selling you another vehicle. Not to mention bordering on harassing. The saving grace for this dealer was the valet, Jamease. What a lovely woman....very kind, and helpful. She greeted me when I returned to pick up my vehicle and explained the pick up process. It was drizzling rain and she wanted to make sure I didn't get wet too. That's 5 star service and the reason for my 3 star rating. I shouldn't have to tell someone to check for the warranty and I certainly wouldn't expect to be told to go back to where I bought the vehicle. This dealer needs to realize, sales sells the first vehicle but how your treated in service will be what sells subsequent vehicles. There are lots of a Toyota dealers in Jax so you need to up your service and stop harassing customers about buying new vehicles.

You can tell that everyone gets along and is incredibly welcoming. I worked with a few associates, and one in particular, Matthew Tudor, really took care of me. He made sure I was pointed in the right direction. I needed to trade in my car and get something smaller that fit my budget, and the whole process was the most seamless experience I've ever had. I thought about doing everything online to avoid the usual dealership process, but I'm really glad I didn't. The staff, the management, and the overall culture truly made me feel at home. When I called to inquire about these charges, I was told to speak with my service advisor. I was then placed on hold for several minutes, only to be transferred to another representative instead of my advisor. Unfortunately, that representative was also unable to provide a clear explanation for the additional services listed on my invoice. This experience has been both frustrating and disappointing. At no point did I request or approve any services beyond a standard oil change. I've had my vehicle serviced at this location 3 times, all for different reasons, and the service has been fantastic every time. I've been to 3 other Hyundai dealerships in town for service and this shop blows it out of the water. They are kind, efficient, and transparent. Long story short - my 2015 Sante Fe was here for an engine replacement under warranty and while…read moreunder their care experienced a 'thermal event'. We negotiated a settlement/new car deal. I wanted to pay the car in full that day but was told I would lose incentives if I didn't finance. I was also told that when the first bill showed up just pay the car in full. Well it showed up with interest added to it and I was guaranteed I would not have to pay the interest. After communicating with the GM on 2/2/2026 and subsequently with the assistant manager (3/28/26) they were going to reimburse me the interest. To date, no reimbursement has been received. I have tried to reach our again and no one is responding to my messages. This is not a good look for management and reflects badly overall on the dealership. 4/11/26 heard back from assistant manager and a check is being issued but requires 3 signatures. Will update this review again 4/22/26 No word from assistant manager/general manager/anyone at Hyundai since last communication....no response to my follow up email either.

Nott forthcoming…read more Allen sales rep appeared and seemed honest while I spoke to him about potential purchase of a drive time purchase. Made arrangements for a convenient date to move forward. Manager called me day after to confirm date and assured a smooth sale. Met with allen. Agreed on purchase. No mention of tracking device in vehicle. Tail lights suddenly stopped worked and strange sound from exhaust. I was told to take BLC Auto on Blanding Blvd because "they are under warranty " only to be told that is false info. Reporting to BBB, lemon law follow up and district attorney.

But don't judge a book by its cover. This man was patient in every way. He taught me everything I needed to know and repeated himself whenever I didn't understand something without being condescending. He ran my credit and showed me everything I qualified for. Then narrowed it down by my likes and dislikes. He walked me to 5 SUVs and none of them felt like "me". He said there was one last one waaaay across the lot and I felt so bad to make him walk but as soon as I saw that black Santa Fe sport....I knew it was meant for me. Through all the paperwork my boyfriend and children kept calling and he waited patiently. If you don't already have insurance, use the company he refers. They're fast and efficient. Tony and his coworker Jennifer stayed almost 45 minutes after they closed to make sure I was satisfied and didn't make me feel like I was holding them up. Soooo kind. Thank you so much for treating me like I treat my customers. Like family.
