They told me I needed to replace the tire because it had two nails, and the cost was $400. That seemed excessive for the size of my tires, and of course I would have needed to replace two. So I called this family-owned shop in the area. The owner answered the phone and was extremely kind--he told me to bring the car in so he could take a look. I did, and they repaired the tire for me. Honestly, as I told him, he just earned a customer for life. Now I know where I'll be going for oil changes and tires, because there are very few honest places nowadays.
