The drive to Terminal 6 from the beginning of the airport entrance was effortless that day. Not too much of a "fluster cuck", and the morning drivers actually knew where they were headed to! Made it to my gate 2 hours before my flight (which was on time, yay!). The TSA line was flowing smoothly, and some of the workers even showed their pearly whites! This is progress! LOL!! Leave early with plenty of time if you choose to fly from here. This terminal is clean with plenty of new eateries here too! Well done you guys! CHEERS till next time...

It's really not a bad International Terminal in itself, and compared to twisting and monstrous…read moreinternational terminals at airports like MIA or DFW. Centered at the rear of the LAX horseshoe upper/lower roadways and the main international gateway for LAX, serving over 45 international carriers and a few domestic flight connections. The worst part is just getting there by car. Always try to give yourself plenty of time because of traffic. Once you're inside the terminal, you usually don't have to take shuttles or leave the terminal; more than 50% of the international flights leave from here. Duty Free is pretty big and there's decent shopping. It's also known as 'Terminal B'. I'm so happy it's still called the Tom Bradley terminal because he deserves to have his name on it. He was an amazing mayor. You can get direct flights to almost anywhere in the world from this terminal. The layout is pretty clear and it's not confusing like CDG or Frankfurt. My favorite lounge here is definitely the Star Alliance lounge because it has an open terrace where you can sit with a view of "The Great Hall"; that's what the large area that includes most of the duty free shopping inside the terminal is called. Star Alliance (and One World) business lounges are upstairs near the top level. The Amex Centurion lounge is underground with no windows and a bit depressing IMO. As far as arrivals, if you have "global entry", it's a breeze. Sometimes I'm in and out in 10 minutes. And if you don't mind paying about $50 extra for a premium Lyft or Uber black, then you can get picked up right in front at the terminal arrivals and don't have to take the shuttle bus and go to the separate ride share satellite area. As I usually travel solo, it depends on how exhausted I am at arrival. If you are tired after a 13 hour flight and have luggage, the shuttle bus that stops at every terminal is a complete nightmare. Which is why I sometimes splurge for the deluxe Uber or Lyft and get picked up at arrivals. I've never seen a "satellite" ride share area which you have to bus to like this one in any airport in the world. I wish they could find a better system though than riding a bus to the satellite rideshare area. I've actually (surprisingly) managed to find some good deals booking through Lyft vs Uber for airport pickups. Don't forget to compare both prices before you select one. I've heard of people actually taking a free hotel shuttle to one of the nearby airport hotels and then catching a rideshare from the hotel to save money, but that may be a little extreme if you have a lot of luggage.

Has really great food, and I love that part of it is outdoors. Santa Ana has amazing weather, so they definitely capitalize on it. It's always a favorite to stop here on my way to my other stops, and with it being clean, less crowded, and easy to get to, truly in my top 10!

The flow: get dropped off, bag check is right there, security immediately after, IMMEDIATELY after the gates are all lined up. The line moves generally very fast. I think the longest I've waited in line is still under 10 minutes to get past security. The fastest til it's my turn to go through has been 30 seconds, if that. Speed and efficiency are the hallmarks. They have enough eateries to choose from as little shops as well for snacks magazines etc. My one con here is that I think they only have airline specific lounges. Would love if they had at least a priority lounge here. But I think it's a relatively smaller airport so I won't fault them too hard here. I mean again I barely wait in the security line so there probably isn't enough foot traffic to justify a priority lounge.

The airport serves SE, United, and Alaska. The airport will feature food stands that are local to California plus various of stores. There is one main security check in area that offers pre tsa and general check in. Great to see a new airport as Bob Hope airport was getting tired. After dealing with some of the massive airports around the country, I definitely appreciate that. The baggage claim being outside caught me completely off guard the first time. I walked out and thought, "Wait...we're doing luggage out here?" Apparently that's just part of the old-school Burbank experience. The airport is actually replacing the current terminal soon, and the new facility will move baggage claim indoors. Andddd...OLD SCHOOL is definitely the description for the current facility. It's dated and looks every bit of its age. Nothing about it feels modern or luxurious, but everything functions and I'll take efficient over pretty when I'm trying to catch a flight. Food is where BUR could definitely do better. There are some restaurants and grab and go options in both terminals, but compared with larger airports the selection is pretty limited, especially depending on which terminal you're flying from. But honestly, I understand why people love this airport. It's compact, low stress, and you're not spending 30 minutes just trying to figure out how to get from security to your gate. Dated? Absolutely. Limited food? Yep. But the sheer convenience of BUR makes up for A LOT.

Every time I use this airport I'm reminded of San Jose airport but much more modern. Clean and efficient just as I imagine the home office likes it. It advertises itself SoCal's fastest airport and I honestly believe it. Check-in, security, and finding my gate were honestly effortless. I find that traveling and especially flying are already so stressful especially if it's for business or family emergencies so having a more relaxed environment at the airport was such a blessing. However, I was quite disappointed in how little amenities were offered. I went to a bar that did not accept cash which would be pretty ridiculous anywhere but especially at an international airport because many countries are more cash-heavy or less card-heavy than the US. My bartender didn't know how to bartend and openly admitted to this. I understand that this is because it is a smaller airport but I just wanted to mention this to make others aware of the downsides. I flew back from Taipei to Ontario and this time around, the experience was not so streamlined or convenient anymore. The airport is so small and undeveloped that there was no tube connecting the plane and airport but you had to walk, which was fine but felt less safe or professional. Staff also scolded passengers to keep going and to stop wandering which felt quite patronizing (I understand that this is for safety and efficiency but maybe that's why having a bus or tube would be better) especially for those of us waiting for family. Each terminal had only one functioning carrousel, the luggage was late, the carrousel took forever to move and I had already wasted half an hour just waiting for luggage.

Always knew they had this but never been, so happy we went today. They have planes, helicopters, police cars and trucks, so many cool planes to check out. You can take photos in some of them which is really cool. It was sort of busy and hot so we didn't wait in the lines to do that but. They also have vendors giving out free things, they have an area in the back with the older planes they sell toys and things they also have a food truck. Baby girl got a free Outter pop so nice of them thank you so much, everyone was so friendly and had smiles even though it was hot. Great place to go for a bit bring kids your family and friends. Loved it would def go again, thank you so much for the wonderful experience and seeing all the beautiful planes and aircrafts. Loved it we had a great time. They also have a cafe inside which I still need to try one of these days :) I would recommend checking this place out if you haven't already it's fun for everyone and perfect place to take pictures. Came here a bit early to had a chance to take more pictures and check out more of the airport. -- the rental car building is very close to the terminal and consists of the major vendors (Hertz, Avis, Budget, Thrifty, Dollar) -- no jet bridges, so all planes use portable ramps to get passengers on/off -- free wi-fi worked well and didn't require any PII to be entered -- filtered water dispensers are throughout, allowing one to fill their reusable water bottles. -- no airport lounges here -- there is a dedicated TSA line when entering the secure area -- there are two bus stops. the more usable one (going to downtown Long Beach) is on the other side of parking, past the taxi stands. -- is definitely very convenient for folks who fly Southwest

When I know I'm flying out of this terminal, I don't think about getting to the airport early. Whereas if it was another terminal I absolutely would. Staff generally are annoyed but not as bad as JFK. They ain't winning awards for customer service but they do explain things pretty well. This time around I flew out of gate 52D. If you're in any of the 52 gates other than A or B, know that you need to get to the 52 gate and then you'll have to chat with a gate agent, scan your boarding pass, then take another bus to your gate. Thats how big LAX is. You need to jump on another 5 minute shuttle ride to get to your gate. The 52 gates aren't world class. It's pretty old. Probably just neglected since most of the flights here are regional / short distance flights. There's flights to Seattle, Bay Area, etc from here. Overall verdict - you could certainly do worse. But for how big it is, I think it's a pretty well oiled machine. And that in of itself earns a 3 star from me.

There were lots of (clean) restrooms, quiet area, unfortunately all the restaurants were closed but otherwise, no problem flying out from LAX at all

TERMINALLY BUSY…read more Thanks to Southwest and Jetblue, Terminal 1 at LAX is bustling. Expect a bottleneck outside this popular terminal due to so many drop-offs and pick-ups. If you take a shuttle, they have an exclusive lane that lets them navigate faster. TSA usually moves fast, but sometimes the lines are long. Mid-day, I waited less than 5 minutes. Pre-dawn, can be busy. Food options include Urth Caffe & Bar, Einstein Bros. Bagels, Chick-fil-A, and Rock & Brews. Restrooms tend to be clean, and there are water refill stations near them. Gates are often overflowing with people, so I'll find a quiet spot with a view as soon as I've reached the concourse. It's usually peaceful until someone inconsiderate puts their phone on speaker. Dude, NO ONE wants to listen to your nonsense. NO ONE. If only Southwest had a club lounge!

Driving here to pick up or drop off people is a nightmare and gives me anxiety every time. They have a newer section at the Tom Bradley International Terminal that makes you walk for 20 minutes to get to your gate. I called this area the Annex. Plan ahead if you're flying international because you never know if you may end up having a really far gate assigned to your flight.
