It was easy getting through this little airport. It was very clean and relaxing. Amenities and WiFi available induce while waiting to board the plane. The working staff could be a little nicer when dealing with customers. Usually private airports are more accommodating....they should work on this.

Since we'd be there for only a few days we flew Southwest Airlines instead. Daughter #1 lives in the Valley. I live in OC so we both decided to take Amtrak and meet at Hollywood Burbank Airport. I usually fly out of Long Beach LBX or John Wayne Airport SNA in Irvine. Hollywood Burbank Airport was like a step back in time. The one story sprawling terminal reminded me of a California mission. The interior appeared to be original circa 1950s. No long walk to check-in or to TSA check point. Shorter walk to the gate. What a throwback. What convenience. Upon our return, baggage claim boasts 2 turnstiles. And yet the airport, on a Tuesday and again on Thursday, was a buzz with foot traffic. Masses of travelers coming and going. We enjoyed the intimacy of the airport. And have definitely added it to our preferred list of airports for local travel.

Then we went to baggage claim, which is a tiny room where everyone stands 6 inches from the baggage belt, so it is nearly impossible to see your bag coming or even get to it. Perhaps the worst system I have seen in my life. Going through security on the way back was fine. The precheck line is longer than the regular line, so I hope they staff lines accordingly in the future. There really are no amenities here. No restaurants, nowhere to plug your phone in, nothing. I went to buy a water and it was $9. I would hate to have a delayed flight here, it's kind of a nightmare. Next time I will save myself the trouble and just go to LAX.

I remember the days when it used to be super expensive to fly out of ONT in comparison to LAX. Thankful it's no longer as outrageous. First, this airport is 10 minutes from my house. There is NOTHING 10 minutes from LAX but traffic. For an early morning flights, I can leave my house 30 minutes before boarding time and get there and through TSA with time to give. Flying is already one of the worst ways to me to spend a day so being able to fly out of Ontario makes it a little bit more manageable. I usually fly Southwest or United so I only go to those terminals. Every once in a while, I'll fly out American. So far all the terminals that I use are pretty easy to get in and get out. Sometimes, in the evening, if someone is picking you up, it can take a while to get through but again in comparison to LA, it is a breeze. I love LA and I do a lot in LA but I would rather fly out of Ontario.

This small airport is so convenient and low stress. We park in lot 5 and take the shuttle that drops off right in front of our terminal. Easy peasy! Terminal 4 is clean and maintained nicely. Because it's a small airport there are less dining options. Sitting here waiting to board our flight, I see a brewery, Subway, Dunkin' Donuts, and I know further down is more fast food options. I really don't care for airport dining anyway, which is so pricey and usually not that great. Thumbs up for Ontario airport!

Always knew they had this but never been, so happy we went today. They have planes, helicopters, police cars and trucks, so many cool planes to check out. You can take photos in some of them which is really cool. It was sort of busy and hot so we didn't wait in the lines to do that but. They also have vendors giving out free things, they have an area in the back with the older planes they sell toys and things they also have a food truck. Baby girl got a free Outter pop so nice of them thank you so much, everyone was so friendly and had smiles even though it was hot. Great place to go for a bit bring kids your family and friends. Loved it would def go again, thank you so much for the wonderful experience and seeing all the beautiful planes and aircrafts. Loved it we had a great time. They also have a cafe inside which I still need to try one of these days :) I would recommend checking this place out if you haven't already it's fun for everyone and perfect place to take pictures. We had an amazing time thank you so much for welcoming us. Have a beautiful day, be kind to everyone :) Aloha

On our last flight from LAX to JFK, we had a 12am flight and traveling with our 3mo old puppy and everything was easy breezy. When I know I'm flying out of this terminal, I don't think about getting to the airport early. Whereas if it was another terminal I absolutely would. Staff generally are annoyed but not as bad as JFK. They ain't winning awards for customer service but they do explain things pretty well. This time around I flew out of gate 52D. If you're in any of the 52 gates other than A or B, know that you need to get to the 52 gate and then you'll have to chat with a gate agent, scan your boarding pass, then take another bus to your gate. Thats how big LAX is. You need to jump on another 5 minute shuttle ride to get to your gate. The 52 gates aren't world class. It's pretty old. Probably just neglected since most of the flights here are regional / short distance flights. There's flights to Seattle, Bay Area, etc from here. Overall verdict - you could certainly do worse. But for how big it is, I think it's a pretty well oiled machine. And that in of itself earns a 3 star from me.
