Ace is the Place!…read more There is this major ice storm coming and we need to prepare. One of the few things I kept from my late Daddy was a battery lantern which is .. a great big flashlight. This thing runs on four D size batteries but will light an entire room. So, I go looking for D batteries in preparation. Not only were D batteries a scarcity but flashlights had sold out too. I take a trip to Ace. At first, they had none too. But the staff, the very kind staff, found a box of D cell batteries and then FOUND me wandering around the store to give them to me. I later placed my order online. It was easy to order what I wanted but the checkout was kind of tricky. I doesn't give you the total price of the entire order at first but that's because they call you back to verify your information and give you the freight total as well as all the other information you'll need to know after they have your information. It felt very secure to know my information was in professional hands.
