This place is great! For the past year I've had a granite counter top has needed to be cut, but every place I've tried to go to has been closed on Saturdays (hard to get out of work to travel to get stone cut). Finally I heard about Iib Stone from one of the wife's friends and we called to verify they were open on Saturdays; and yes they were. We took a little drive up to Suwannee this past Saturday not knowing how much it was going to cost to get the stone cut and were pleasantly surprised when it was only $10 to cut it. Others we had called said it would be between $60 and $100 for the same amount of work. That's 5 stars all the way for me! Not only will Iib cut some stone you have, but they also sale and specially cut granite, marble, etc to fit your needs. If I'm ever building or remodeling I'll call Iib for my stone and stone cutting needs. read more

This company was amazing to deal with . They were extremely nice and helpful. Once I picked out my stone I wanted for my cabinet countertops and backsplash, Just a few days later they were at my house measuring for the installation. And about six days later it was complete. They did a perfect job . I got quartz for the entire backsplash and the countertops it looks Beautiful. They knew I was worried about having any gaps where the backsplash connected to the underneath part of the cabinets or anywhere else for that matter. They took their time measuring the template for the countertops and waited for that to be installed before they measured for the backsplash template . They left to cut the backsplash and were able to come back the same day to install that . They definitely knew what they were doing because it came out perfect ! Very friendly and professional . I had priced out granite for our new house and initially thought IIB Stone was high after speaking with other companies. However, I QUICKLY learned that you get what you pay for. Another company that we had signed to do our granite turned out be flakes. We were down to needing our granite installed within a 5 day window. I called IIB Stone back and they not only came out the SAME day I called to do the template, but they also installed all of our granite on the day they said they would.....5 days later!!!! Our granite is absolutely beautiful and the customer service was exceptional! They are such fabulous installers, that you cannot even see the seams in our 11.5' island nor in our 14' counter top. I highly recommend visiting IIB if you doing any countertop or stone work. I heard about them by word of mouth so I stopped by to see what they offered. Brian was extremely attentive and helpful. I found their choices and pricing very fair. I even went back the next day to change my choice, with my backsplash tile in hand. Again Brian was accommodating so I could find the right piece. He came out to measure and offered minor recommendations to improve the look and fit since my wall was not straight. Installation was when promised, no wait, and very efficient. Loved the fact that they came prepared and cleaned up after themselves. I will be visiting Brian and his team when it's time to remodel my bathrooms. read more

I went to that place based on the good reviews and ordered couple granite pieces for my master bathroom project. The owner asked me to pay upfront 50% of the total price. When I called him next Saturday, it was not ready and was promised to be done by Monday morning. I called 11:30 am on Monday to double check if it was ready and it was not ready again. Brian told me that he would start now and finish by 1:00 pm for sure. I arrived at 1:40 pm and the piece was half way done. Brian said that it would take him couple minutes to do the 4 holes for faucet and to bevel the edge which was not done as well. I waited outside for 10-15 min and when I walked in I saw that one hole was off the center by 3/4 inch. The owner whose name is (Elmi) told me that he could make another hole next to it to make them on the same line. I told him that it will look bad. Then he told me "I don't have time for you" and told Brian to give me my deposit back. I was shocked by his decision and I was expecting that he would cut another piece and make it right. Worst experience ever. After placing my order for a cabinet and counter top IIB changed the configuration of the cabinets without ever discussing it with me. Then I had to pay a plumber to move the same pipes twice because IIB marked the wrong place for the pipes to be moved to. Then during installation I discovered they were installing cabinets that would be lower than what I I had ordered (I ordered 36 (including counter)but these were going to be 34 tall (including counter) When the counter was installed the holes for the sinks were not centered on the cabinet but they didn't catch their error and then they drilled the faucet holes so they were not centered either! I just left this store. I will NEVER under any circumstance spend money with these people. You know how you're treated so rudely once and a while that it makes you want to take to the internet to warn others. That's what just happened here. This store closes at 5. I arrived a few minutes after 5, around 5:14. The open sign was still lit, the door was unlocked, so I figured they must be staying open a little late. Great. I've just gotten three quotes for granite today and I can see what they have on the way home. I'm immediately glared at by an older/middle-aged woman with long blondish hair, standing by a desk in the corner. I awkwardly said hi, as I entered. I was wondering if I can see you're really cheap granite options, I cheerfully explained feeling awkward already. She abruptly looks at me with an attitude and says, Well, were closed, as if I were an intruder. Oh ok, I said, I've just been getting quotes today and thought I'd swing by because you're around the corner from my house. Understood. Well, ok, I'm only here to do paperwork. she heaved, I guess I can show you what's in the back, but it'll be hard to see because the lights are off already. I follow her to the back door, all the while thinking, perhaps a light switch could remedy the problem, though, I said nothing and grinned like the school girl who just got a sticker. As we're walking to the door, she looks down at a piece of paper and says, you see that paper, paperwork. That's the only reason I'm still here. I mean we are closed. Ok, I said, understood. Not a problem. I said, I have all of these other quotes I'll just do business with someone else. Well, I mean were closed. Understood, I'll leave now. It wasn't the fact that they were closed. It was the ugliness portrayed to a customer. Especially one that is ready to sign the dotted line with quotes in hand. But even that shouldn't matter. Perhaps paperwork is the position she should have, and not one on the sales floor. I almost feel like i just got bumped from a United plane. I will spend my thousands elsewhere, obviously they don't need it. They have too much paperwork to do, and enough attitude for a lifetime. read more

Buy your granite from somewhere else!!! They were very friendly and informative when I initially went in the showroom to get ideas. But then things changed. I should have known something was up when they came to the house to measure and never bothered to do a template. When I asked, I was told it was unnecessary since my kitchen layout was simple. As a result, I now have up to a 1/4 inch gaps between my wall and my installed granite. I was told this was "normal" when I pointed it out. After installation, I noticed scratches and nicks on the granite. I was told they would disappear with more sealant. Guess what - they're still there! Also I wrote them a out of state check for the deposit. They told me their bank informed them there was not enough money in the account to cover the check. I KNOW there was 9 times the amount in the bank! But they were adamant about not moving forward with the install until I provided another form of payment. At this point, I didn't trust these guys with my credit card so ended up taking them cash. After speaking to the mgr at the bank, I learned it is that particular bank's policy to not cash out of state checks immediately due to funds needing to clear. If they had deposited the check and waited 7-10 biz days for it to clear, everything would have been fine. IIB tried to pull the same "your check is no good" stunt with my final payment check. I received numerous phone calls telling me the check was no good. This time, I held my ground. Guess what - the check "miraculously" went through! It's funny how the only times I received a return call from these folks was when they wanted my money... Do yourself a favor and give this shady brother duo a pass!!! read more

9 days. From the day I walked in, without an appointment, and picked a stone until the installation. These guys are a pleasure to work with. They scheduled measurements the day I was at the shop. They came 2 days later to measure my kitchen. The guy arrived EARLY. And then a week after measurements I have new counters. 9 days from start to finish. read more

I highly recommend that you use IIB Stone if you are looking to purchase granite. I've been shopping for granite for about 3 weeks now and I came along a company in Lawrenceville called IIB Stone. When I walked into their showroom I was immediately greeted and it was a very warm and friendly atmosphere. I took my time looking through there showroom and they were very helpful in assisting my wife and I in our selection. We realize that their pricing was very competitive; in fact we were able to pick out a higher quality Stone that fit our budget as opposed to going to any of the big box stores or any of the other local granite vendors. Aug. 24 2013 - I needed a 30"x30" piece of stone from their boneyard, finished with an ease edge on only one side with no installation or delivery. They priced it at $450.00 which is $72.00 a square foot. Really?!? For your scrap stone!! I think they thought I couldn't multiply in my head or else that clerk can't use a calculator. read more
