Their driver did not pay most of the tolls along the way for the trailer so we started getting bills in the mail... As well as collection notices. Their driver claims he shouldn't have to pay them because he didn't get paid enough by on Road transport and logistics.... The company tells me it's not their problem it's the driver and I should contact him to fix this. Then they lied to me saying they had a department for claims which later turned out to be a big lie.... They kept just trying to push and out longer and hope I would stop or forget. Elizabeth is who I dealt with and she is one of those people who just puts the blame on everyone else after they get the money. Been dealing with them for 6 months trying to get this fixed and they're not going to do anything. They were one of the lower priced ones and I should have known not to go with them you get what you pay for and these people are low class.... I would definitely not hire this company again... I would not trust anything they say. Do yourself a favor and hire more reputable company. By the way they were also pushing for me to review them on their site before they even finished the trip.... Now I know why.... Elizabeth on Road transportation and logistics are a disappointment and shameful company. If anyone would like to see the text from their driver, from Elizabeth who said everything up or my contract with them I would be glad to share it.

The car pickup was delayed 3 times, leading us to completely scramble to find a safe place for our car since we were leaving on flights. Then at the literal 11th hour, less than an hour before the car was supposed to be picked up, I was told it would be an additional $2,000 to pick up the car. This feels like it took years off my life. Do not recommend.

I had an incredibly terrible experience with American Car Ship Inc. They initially quoted me a very…read morelow price of $765 to ship my Jeep Wrangler from Illinois to Oregon. I was skeptical and asked if that rate was guaranteed, and they assured me that it was locked in and wouldn't change. That turned out to be completely false. On the scheduled day of pickup, they called and nearly tripled the price to $1,800--far above the market average of around $1,200 for that route. When I pushed back, they gave vague explanations and refused to take accountability. I later found several reviews from other customers who had almost identical experiences: lowball quotes that suddenly skyrocketed at the last minute, often on the day of pickup when customers have few options left. Even worse, they tried to keep my deposit. I had to cite their own contract, which clearly states that a refund is due if no carrier is dispatched, and threaten legal action before they agreed to issue the refund. The entire interaction was unprofessional and dishonest. Bottom line: This company engages in bait-and-switch pricing and shady business practices. Avoid American Car Ship Inc. at all costs. They wasted my time, caused unnecessary stress, and nearly cost me hundreds of extra dollars. Don't fall for the low quote, they won't honor it. P.s. I got my car shipped for $1200, original quoted too. Do your research well before choosing a company. Market price is between $1100-$1300
