Shirleen joined us at an extremely busy time.. she worked under pressure, in stressful situations, and always was positive, collaborative, creative and overcame all challenges. I've worked over 20 years in the hospitality industry in both sales & operations and have not met anyone like Shirleen. Many of our Team were in tears when Shirleen's assignment came to an end. (After many extensions) We hope she returns to Boston soon!

It gave me great peace of mind on my wedding day to turn the reins over to her. From the moment I hired April she was completely available to me via phone or email for any questions I had. She ran my rehearsal in a kind and efficient way, making sure that all of wedding party knew where to stand/walk/etc. She even helped my officiant determine the best way to introduce the vows and ring exchange (note the officiant is a friend and not a professional) On the day of my wedding she arrived promptly and took over all of the various facets of getting the show on the road. She did an excellent job taking care of the wedding and going to people like my mom or the bridesmaids with certain questions- making sure that I was not bothered or stressed out on the big day. She completely surpassed my expectations and helped deliver the happiest day of my life :) I absolutely recommend putting your event into April's capable hands.

Looking back I don't know how hard it would have been to not have a day of coordinator helping to answer questions from guests, setting everything up, helping to get everyone needed on our timeline, and just helping this huge event go off smoothly. I can't say what a huge help they were in helping us all keep our sanity and getting us to be able to enjoy the wedding. We worked with W Day to finalize a day of timeline, and help coordinate with all our vendors once we got close to the big day. Without her expertise, I'm sure the wedding would not have been as smooth. From the moment the day began, she helped to set everything us as requested and moved so quickly on their feet when anything needed to be changed. They were awesome and having everything ready when needed. They were a great addition to make sure that our wedding day went off without a hitch and at a great price. For those of you wanting that little bit of extra help, I encourage you to call them- their fee is well worth your enjoying your wedding and your sanity on your wedding day!

We had a bad experience with Tiffani, and would not recommend her to anyone. Although she's very…read moresweet and seems well-intentioned, her inability to effectively communicate with us and general inattentiveness became so extreme that we were forced to let her go months before the wedding and find someone else. She would promise things by a certain time (venue or catering options, schedules, etc), and then not deliver them. Emails and phone calls from us would regularly go unreturned, often for weeks. We were never given a timetable of any kind, despite asking. She was not proactive about checking up on us. Everything felt like pulling teeth. She presented options for venues, bakeries, etc without first checking if they met clear requirements that we had set forth. Ultimately we ended up finding everything ourselves through our own research and external recommendations. Through all this, we kept forgiving her, because she was juggling a new full-time job and her price was really good, and she was always very sweet. We kept giving her another chance, and on at least two occasions talked to her about being better about the communication. We understood that she was busy and some texts/emails aren't urgent, but after weeks would go by without her even bothering to say "Hey I'm really busy but I'll get back to you soon," and multiple attempts to reach her failed, we had lost confidence that she would be able to handle our wedding without us having to worry about it. We were already doing almost everything ourselves, and we really didn't want that as the wedding got closer. Eventually we had had enough and decided it wasn't working out. When we told her we no longer wished to use her services, she seemed oddly surprised, as if all of the times we'd raised our concerns with her and all the times she'd promised to do better had fallen on deaf ears. We then let her know that we wanted half of the money we'd paid her up front returned to us, and she just never wrote back. We tried again, and even got a lawyer involved, threatening her with small claims court. Absolutely no response whatsoever. It's a very, very odd situation, and I really can't even begin to think what was going on in her mind to behave this way. So no, under absolutely no circumstances would we ever recommend her. Avoid, avoid, avoid.
