When they were all put together, it looked BEAUTIFUL. There's no doubt they use good quality items. BUT here is what to beware of - Hidden Fees & Last Minute Fees with no explanation. When asked for a price breakdown for added fees, they cannot provide that. Additionally, they need to improve at making sure everyone on the team is well versed on the prices and accurately charges for items to ensure that you get what you think you're paying for. Also, beware of the possible inconvenience of being asked to drive a floral vase to their base location in Duarte 2 days before your wedding, despite having been asked a month prior if they needed anything extra from you. Also, beware of late delivery, as we had florals delivered after the start of our event. I will say that Luz did issue us a refund for missing items, which is appreciated, but just be aware of these things. The production is good, but the customer service needs work.

As soon as my fiancé and I got engaged we established we wanted to prioritize paying for a full planning package with a wedding planner given our busy schedules. It was the absolute best decision we made going into a year of wedding planning. From our first meeting with Chabeli, she was super in tune with our desire to properly scale our wedding for a smaller event, somewhere around 50 guests, and to stay as close to our budget as possible. Her diverse vendor list helped us stick to one of our other priorities, to hire as many minority-owned small businesses as possible. When a dire family medical emergency came up just six months before our wedding date, when we expected to go in deep on wedding planning, Chabeli was super encouraging that she wouldn't bother us until we absolutely needed to make decisions, which allowed us to continue tending to our family needs full time. Come the final weeks before our wedding, Chabeli and her team kept on top of things we definitely didn't even realize we needed to take care of. Our wedding day ended up being an absolute dream. So many people told us they wanted to duplicate so many big and small details for their own nuptials!

"We wanted to say another enormous THANK YOU for making our wedding weekend the most perfect, seamless, and beautiful celebration. Going into the weekend, we already had such high expectations just having seen the amount of effort and attention that you all had put in for the planning portion- everything from florals to Taco Bell. And despite being advised by so many to stay present and ignore the things that don't go perfectly, and having Chabeli reiterate to us that come Thursday we shouldn't worry about a thing, I don't think either of us really expected to spend the entire weekend so focused on each other, on our family and friends, and on the absolute magic that you all orchestrated so flawlessly. It's safe to say our expectations were blown out the water of Lake Alisal, through the garland-covered Atrium, and launched into the starry Santa Ynez skies. We knew we were in safe hands with Chabeli from the very beginning, and then when we finally got to meet the rest of you in front of Jackson house, we were reassured that everything was going to be great. Brianna, Jeannine, Juliana, Sheena- you are all so warm and professional and clearly love what you do. We're sure there were countless moments of stress for all of you throughout the weekend, but we can honestly say that we did not notice a single one of them, and every time that we looked over at one of you, there was a smile. Chabeli, our fearless leader! Thank you for putting up with all of our incessant questions over the last year. If we had a dollar for every time we asked you "well what do you think, Chabeli?" we could probably pay for the entire wedding. We trusted you throughout the whole process, and given the way that Atrium turned out, we are so glad that we did (can't believe we were even considering saying no to that). But seriously, you're truly the best in the biz and we couldn't have done it without you. We'll be singing your praises to friends, family, and random strangers on the street for the rest of time! Can't thank you all enough - we are so grateful Best, Dean & Em PS (plans)- we are not missing a single thing from the weekend. You all even packed up Emily's bouquet and it's still looking radiant, soaking up some well-earned water in our dining room. Thank you for everything"

She did a fantastic job allowing my husband and I to enjoy the party stress-free! She worked with me on conceptualizing the event including decor, flow, & menu and had wonderful suggestions to create the vibe and energy we were looking for. Vanessa hired all the vendors remaining mindful of our budget, including, a bartender, DJ, caterers, serving staff, lighting, ice luge sculpture, photo-booth, and balloon arch. We loved all the vendors and so did our guests! Vanessa also handled the floral centerpieces as well as paying all the vendors. The day of the party was quite hectic with all the vendors setting up all at the same time. She also made sure to provide regular checklists of items to make sure we stayed on track, while also not putting too much pressure on us! Claire handled putting together a gorgeous design brief based on inspiration photos we gathered, which definitely helped as we went through the process of selecting and working with vendors--all of whom were also incredible! An important thing I also want to mention is that I had a sudden health issue flare up partway through our venue search, which set things back by a year.
