From start to finish they were incredibly easy to communicate with- responsive, attentive, and truly listened to what I wanted. Lisa and her team brought my vision to life, and it was even better than I imagined. What really stood out was their willingness to work within our budget without compromising on quality or creativity. They not only designed and set up all the balloons, backdrops, installations but they also spent extra time helping me decorate and design the farmers market with the custom gifts I made and/or purchased for my guests. The entire process felt stress-free and enjoyable. Everything turned out beautifully and we received so many compliments. I am truly honored to be The Simple Luxe's first farmers market themed client and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a talented, reliable, and kind vendor who goes above and beyond. If you have been following them on social media like I was and have an upcoming event - reach out to them and get a quote! You will not be disappointed!

We also wanted to include our late dog in the design, and she incorporated him so beautifully. Seeing the attention to detail in their previous work is what convinced us to move forward, and all of our guests were blown away by how everything turned out. Jasmine was also a pleasure to work with. She was very communicative, easy to talk to, and made the entire process stress-free from start to finish. She really listened to our ideas, gave us time to make decisions, and helped us stay within our budget. Huge thanks to the setup and cleanup team as well. They were punctual and respectful of the time we had the venue booked. My wife and I would definitely recommend The Simple Luxe to anyone (if it's within your budget). Their hard work and dedication to their clients truly shows in their work.

Late delivery + communication issues, but the delivery crew was great…read more I used Rental Avenue for furniture rentals for an event and spent around $7,000. Unfortunately, the experience was incredibly stressful due to logistics and communication. The delivery showed up about 6 hours late, which completely threw off our setup timeline. Because they were so behind, I ended up having to stay at the property until 10:00 PM just to get everything placed and ready. To make matters worse, communication with the office was really difficult -- at one point, we had to have the delivery guys call the office repeatedly just to get someone on the phone and get direction/answers. That should never be on the customer (or the crew) to chase down. I'll say this: the delivery guys were honestly great. They were professional, kind, and clearly doing their best under the circumstances. We also ran into an issue with the table/chair heights. I ordered tall chairs, but I had selected shorter cocktail tables. They did help fix the issue, which I appreciate -- but the way it was handled made me feel like I was being scolded for it. When you're spending thousands and already dealing with a massively late delivery, the last thing you need is attitude. A simple "no worries, we'll get it sorted" would have gone a long way. Overall: great delivery crew, but the late delivery, hard-to-reach office, and the tone when resolving the setup issue made this a frustrating experience. I really wanted this to be a smooth, professional rental process, but it wasn't. I would not recommend.

I'm writing with gratitude, joy and praise for the experience I had today. I co-hosted a baby shower for my dearest friend and business partner. She's the most important person in the world to me. We chose to have it at Bexx and it turned out perfectly. The whole team was delightful. Great communication, personal service, unbelievable attention to detail, delicious food and top notch beverages. The decor and food choices were ample but not overwhelming. The food was made there, completely fresh, healthy and beautifully presented. I wanted this day to be amazing and memorable. Bexx and team exceeded expectations. Several guests said it was by far and away the best baby shower they'd ever been to. I agree. This venue is a unique, charming home in North Hollywood. The open air courtyard is covered for a nice, breezy indoor/outdoor feel. Everything went off without a hitch. Everyone felt comfortable and welcomed. I hope including the new person we were welcoming into the world. Thank you, for a great, happy memory!!

We started having conversations about our wedding a year and a half before the actual day. Cynthia was just as excited as I was about the small details and I knew then that I found the right person for the job. Through the months leading to the big day, she kept me on my toes to make sure that I had everything crossed off the to-do list. It helped to be accountable to another person to make doubly sure that everything goes off without a hitch. You only get one chance to get everything just right, afterall. The week of the wedding, Cynthia took full control of communicating with all of our vendors. She was a god-send! She organized and coordinated with everybody - I didn't have any headache to deal with. The day of our wedding, she and the ladies were the first vendors we saw as we were getting our hair and make-up done. I knew I had nothing to worry about. And I was right. Our wedding reception was amazing and beautiful!! And I credit Cynthia with getting all the details just right - it was more than I could have even imagined. So basically, it was not set up to handle a large amount of people (I had 180 guests). I had concerns such as where do we place the lights where they are most effective, and how do we get rid of all the trash, and where will the valet park all those cars? My wedding planning was a big headache. Luckily, Cynthia was able to foresee all those obstacles and more and help create a solution. -She always replied back with emails quickly, and with texts even quicker. -She was always highly professional and prepared during our meetings. -She was honest, and gave her opinion if something would not work out (unlike some vendors who promise too much and under-deliver). -She provided a great team to work with for the day of. -She provided more services than what was outside of our contract to make sure everything ran smoothly the day of. -She was even available after the wedding for follow-up questions that I had (wedding contract info, vendor info, random questions). There is always something that will go wrong with your event. No event is perfect, but with Cynthia, I felt that it ran as smooth as it possibly could have than with any other event planner. My husband and I highly recommend Cynthia as a wedding planner. I couldn't have done it without her and her team.

If I recall, it went well and I received a lot of Barbie Dolls (even though I wasn't really into Barbies but I think the mothers of the other girls assumed I was). Walking into Happy Parties was a journey into my absent past and started to heal all the psychological effects that one is traumatized from by not having childhood birthday parties. Happy Parties wasn't even open when I attempted to walk in but Don, whom appears to be the owner or manager; was still in the shop because the other crew was working on a party that night so since he was there, he allowed me to be there as well, even after hours! The shop is a mixture of party favor supply and vintage toy store. The shelves are filled with standards like party board games, costumes, party favors such fake rings for the little girls and toy guns for the boys, little stuffed animals, rubber stamps, etc; which are sold individually or can be purchased in bulk for your child's party guests. The best part, no matter what your age, is the toys that we remember from our years as a tyke: Smurfs figurines, rubber Gumby dolls, and slinkies to name a few. It is almost like being at a flea market which is always a treat! Happy Parties doesn't just sell party supplies or favors, it also helps plan/run the party providing entertainment (clowns, costumed characters, and face painters), themes, and games. This will take the strain off of any stressed parent! Plus, Don announced that they are starting to run adult parties, as well. To add the icing to the cake (I love puns), Don was kind, polite, and very cheerful. Again, he allowed me to browse even after closing hours but he also exchanged (graciously) information with my boyfriend after learning that he is an artist and would be interested in providing caricature drawing services at future parties. Don genuinely seems happy with what he does for a living (and I learned that he didn't have birthday parties growing up, either!). Whether you are a stressed parent needing party-planning help or just a nutcase needing birthday party therapy like myself, Happy Parties seems to be the solution. Now let me go cry if I want to.
