I appreciate that he believes in starting conservatively with treatments before going to more invasive solutions. His office staff and PA were very helpful and friendly as well. Then, two appointments showed up on my schedule that I never personally scheduled or agreed to -- and when I didn't show up, I was charged two $50 "no-show" fees. Just to be clear, this had happened previously with an appointment I missed legitimately, and I had no issue paying the fee. When I questioned it, the explanation was basically: once they put something on the schedule, it's considered confirmed unless you cancel, and reminder texts count as confirmation. I asked for proof that I actually scheduled those visits, but what I got back were policy copies and reminder screenshots with nothing showing that I ever agreed to those dates. They refused to waive the fees. So my takeaway for future patients: watch your schedule closely and get clear confirmation of what you've actually agreed to, because Brostrom WILL do whatever they can to extort you for those fees. And if you have a problem with it, they will let you know by sending you to collections over the no-show fee.

The ER doc explained why. Mind you this was after I left a DV marriage. I've been homeless trying to survive since. I've had my bank account compromised and had all of my information changed. I was refused my pain medication because I couldn't get the $40 out of the bank because I hadn't received the card when promised by chase. I explained all of the to Jackie at the desk. Then she spouted I owed 90 something dollars. When I ask for what because I'm disabled and the state covers everything. She replied "I don't know! You'll have to call your insurance company and find out". Then after she sees I'm completely frustrated she tells me I should leave. Such nice treatment for patients that have already been traumatized and are homeless. So much for the hypocritical oath.

I was never given at home exercises, which I was informed is a complete red flag for any physical therapy location. My muscles also became extremely weak over time which caused my pain to intensify. I wasted two months of my time and had start all over at a different location. Please reconsider going here for any injury you have and do your research. I wish I would have done the same.

Mike and team pushed me just enough that I knew I was working the muscles that needed the rehab. Having gone there for 12 visits it was easy to see how the team worked well with all their patients and quickly developed a rapport with every one of them. I wouldn't hesitate to go back there should I need additional therapy in the future. It's worth noting that this crew is completely different from the staff that was at their old location in a former bank in the heart of South Lyon.

I was a mess. My neck muscles spasming so bad I couldn't point my head straight, my left arm on fire continuously. I couldn't get any real attention from the regular MD side of the world (no help from ER, appointments months out for specialists). There is another doctor there, Dr Jennifer Burlingame so I made appointments for my son and myself. ( I cannot find any reviews on her as of this date) My sons first appointment was made for 3:00 but the day beforehand I was called and they moved his appointment to 3:40. When we arrived at 3:30 we were told that we had missed his appointment and since the office is a "very busy" one that he could not be seen. I told her how we had been called and told the time for the appointment had been changed and for her to just forget it and to also cancel the appointment I had for the following week. She said then that he could be seen. So we sat and waited.. and waited. We waited 25 minutes in outside waiting room and then another 35 minutes in the back. It was over an hour to see the doctor. I thought it would be better for my appointment. I got there just before 2:00 for my 2:20 appointment. The outside doors are locked from 1:00 until 2:00 for lunch. I thought.. wonderful... since I was first inside and had an appointment just after lunch. surely my wait would be minimum. There was only one other patient waiting who came in after I did. The other patient was called back first and then I was called after. At 2:40 my son texted to see what the hold up was. The doctor showed up just after 3:00. Visit with doctor was about 10 minutes. Third trip was better with only about 20 minutes of a wait for my son, it was a just after lunch appointment as well. The doctor seems very nice but my first rating will be in the middle and is most influenced at this time by the long waits. As we have more interactions with the doctor I will edit/update my review.
