Are you Accucurious? Do you have an old Injury that's…read morepreventing you from being active? Are you perimenopausal? Or just feeling icky? Julie and her team came highly recommended and I'm so grateful I went... I initially saw her for an injury that was caused by wearing the wrong shoes ‍ or being over 40... it's a toss up. Then came perimenopause (yeah)--- But I digress... Julie listens like your best friend and treats you like a VIP. I can rattle off 17 different symptoms in 90 seconds (because... hormones), and she somehow knows exactly what to do. She's thoughtful, thorough, and has this calm, grounded energy that helps quiet my busy brain and reset my body. Whether it's emotional chaos or muscle tension, I leave feeling like a human again. The whole team here is wonderful, but Julie has been a game-changer for me. I've searched all over Oakland County and this place is the one. They just get it--women's health, pain, stress, all of it. Highly recommend for anyone dealing with hormone havoc, body aches, or just trying to feel more like themselves again. And if you're anything like me--running on coffee, adrenaline, and mild panic--go see Julie. She'll fix you up and make you laugh too!

the experience overall was great. The office was nice…read more I received acupuncture to address back pain, which was a new experience. I am still having back pain and didn't feel better after the session but I am hopeful my 2nd appt will provide relief. Most of the needles I didn't even fee upon insertion but there were a couple i did feel and it was not a pleasant feeling which is the reason for 4 stars instead of 5.

I never thought I would enjoy going for a wax session, but Emily is great. Scheduling was simple…read moreand done via phone. I received a return call from the owner and was able to schedule an appointment for a facial and waxing. The office has a parking lot right out front. I was greeted by a smiling face and a calm waiting area. It is small and quaint. Emily was professional and walked me through each procedure. The facial left my skin feeling smooth and refreshed afterwards. She used pretty good products that I was not allergic to. I find that important because I have sensitive skin and everything doesn't do well on my skin. Waxing is something else that she does. I was nervous, but she explained how it worked and took time to make me feel comfortable. She offered cooling towels after each arm. She was meticulous with getting my underarms nice and smooth. She used tweezers for the stray hairs and I have always been satisfied. I have even walked away from a bikini wax without crying, no redness, and a new found respect for estheticians. I now go to only her for waxing and facial services now.

Well... For once, I have to blame myself on this one. Once again, groupon had almost screwed me…read moreover and put an expiration date on a gift certificate. And sometimes when you have to work late, there isn't much that you can do but to try to make adjustments and try to make it all work out. I called Jeff up, and said that I had purchased a groupon.. however the first day that I could get our schedules to line up, it turned out to be after my groupon had expired. He said that he would be willing to waive any fees that were associated with coming in after the groupon expired, since I was calling over 2 weeks prior. For that... I was grateful. However, after that... it went down hill... mostly due to Metro Detroit and their drivers. I did not make my appointment time.. in fact, I was late by 20 minutes due to 696 being jacked up, the southfield being jacked up, and telegraph being jacked. I personally hate being late to appointments. I ran into there and Jeff said that of course, the time would have to be deducted from the amount of time that I had paid for. I understand that completely.. I tried to get out of work early... but so did everyone else apparently. Jeff got to work on my back, and I told him that I could withstand some pretty decent pressure. And I guess he was surprised when he was digging into my back with his elbows and forearms that I wasn't joking. I had played volleyball and softball that week, so I needed to get some of those muscles to relax. For the half hour I did get in with him (Minus the 10 minutes for paper work and dressing) I have to say it was a pretty decent massage. Once again... I do realize this was all due to my doing... Once the massage was done... I peeked at the clock... my appt was from 5:15 to 6:15... and it was 6:05. So who knows how much time I actually received. The good part about the whole deal was that the groupon included a 1 hour facial. Thankfully... my being late did not disappoint in that regard. However, I was put through a different type of pain when she asked me if I wanted any 'extractions' done. Not knowing what that was about was a instant wakeup call. Who knew that you had so many sensitive nerve endings in your nose and face? So... overall? I'd say it was good. I wish I could rant and rave and say that it was spectacular... but due to me being stuck in the craziness of not being able to get anywhere promptly due to the construction projects going on around Metro-Detroit... I was stuck with what I had to deal with.
