Once her massage had already started, I received a call saying they had not received my payment and asked me to send $160 through Zelle. I sent the $160. I sent them photos with proof and the confirmation number. They asked for more proof so I sent the literal transaction from my bank - it showed standard processing and that the funds would be available Wednesday. They then repeatedly texted me saying they had not received it, and to change it to same day - I literally did not have that option. Zelle/my bank only gave me the choice of standard processing. Then gave me a DIFFERENT phone number to send payment to, while texting from ANOTHER THIRD NUMBER, and told me they were in the process of installing Venmo because their website was not yet set up to process transactions. At that point, I spent nearly an hour on the phone with my bank trying to figure out what was happening, while my wife was supposed to be enjoying a two-hour massage that I had purchased as a gift. Throughout all of this, I repeatedly made it clear that they were NOT to charge my wife. I explained that this was a gift and continued asking for another legitimate way to pay, including offering to provide my card information over the phone. After all of that, they texted me to apologize and said they had charged my wife anyway. I immediately canceled the Zelle payment. The entire experience was incredibly unprofessional and raised serious concerns for me. Being asked to send payment through Zelle, then being given a different phone number, then being told they were installing Venmo, all while my card information had already been provided through their booking system, felt extremely suspicious. What was supposed to be a relaxing gift for my wife turned into an hour-long ordeal with my bank, and despite my explicit instructions, they charged the person receiving the gift anyway. Some number texted me that they were going to be fired and they were sorry - it was so bizarre and felt like a scam or attempt to steal. I would not recommend this business based on this experience.
